Update: 2x XP will count towards the IS-6 goal this weekend

Hello everyone,

as you probably heard already, Wargaming gave us an unexpected bonus: this weekend, you get double XP for every battle you win (so if you lose, you ain’t getting shit). The Christmas event bonuses were changed thus:

28/12 – 30/12 x2 experience for every victory!
30/12 – 31/12 x2 crew experience
31/12 – 02/01 x5 experience for the first victory of the day
02/01 – 04/01 x2 crew experience
04/01 – 07/01 x3 crew experience
07/01 – 18/01 x2 crew experience

Considering hardcore people like Lonigus already claimed the IS-6 (he did so today in fact), I guess it’s the right boost for everyone not as hardcore :)

  3. NA doesn’t get this double XP event.

    Almost got the IS-6 myself though so it doesn’t matter that much but it would have been nice for when I return to my high tier grind.

  4. How can some people play that much? I’ve already played like a freak and I’ve only completed 3 nations and a half but I’m so sick of this game… After I get the IS-6 I might as well take a loooooooong break from WoT.

    • Indeed! After the IS6 and the STB-1 it’s a break till the next campaign. Unless they serve us another mission with a tank reward. In that cause i’m gonna suicide bomb WGs headquarters.

    • It would have been a lot easier for your sanity if you had spread it out more. Averaging 3,400 XP per country per day is all you need to get it. When you consider the daily bonus counts in this, it’s relative easy if you have the tanks researched already.

    • That is how I do it. As long as it is a non-premium tier 6 tank, it counts. I have two per country, and play each day until I win in that tank. Most of the time, I earn more than enough per day to get it in the time allotted. The Japanese line is the only difficult grind, as there is only one tank that counts.

    • I finished Soviet 100k grind in 5 tanks, it was really easy with all these bonuses. Now US and GER is coming close to finish, and then slowly and patiently will finish others. Only problem will be Japs, I am in Tier 5 at the moment.
      But then again those weekend X2 and New years X5 will help greatly.

  6. well i have got almost 600k xp for mission (50k xp per day) so its possible i can finish this tomorrow:)

  7. I still don’t get how Wargaming thinks Friday is not weekend but Monday should be. I for example play mostly on Friday, rarely on Saturday and then on Sunday and a little on Monday.

    Also it’s just ridiculous how useless most of the players are these days. It feels like the players get worse every holidays.

    • If you were still a kid, having 2-3 weeks of xmas vacation and you don’t really are a social kind of guy, having no money because you are a kid. Seems interesting to go for it then no? Even though I wouldn’t even be interested. I barely play 20 games a week so for me it’s a big no no, even if I had the time I just would’ve bought that tank, but I’m happy with my T34, Ram II, Type 59 & SU-100Y.
