According to the post linked above, this map schematic in game resources is designated “95_Lost_City”. A direct quote of the person, who leaked it: “Absolutely symmetrical map” – it was apparently tested for 7/42 battles, everything was fine – and for 15vs15 as well.

    Does it look good? : Hell fucking No!

    I’m playing World of Tanks , not a Warcraft/Starcraft Map!
    The other map at lease fell like a real city or historical battlefield , Then what kind of town layout is that?

  2. Mirror map is bad idea. You only narrow down what you can do.
    It’s better stay stay with mixing spawn points. For teams.

  3. Finally a tournament map, we needed at least one, statistic from such map would be very useful for balancing vehicles/whole nations

  4. Fine for CWs and TCs but for randoms i prefer less symmetrical but without OP advantages like on Murovanka A2 position.

  5. Because it they don’t balance it you guys will whine and cry about how one side is “statistically” better. Take it out of rotation, call GG and drown your selves.

    I think any new city maps are cool, in fact any new map, is a nice time to me.

    Cant wait for Kharkov or Konigsberg. Just don’t let the WOWP guys touch it.

  6. This map makes me think of a basic Unreal Tournament CTF map…fuck, that game really influenced my way of thinking.

  7. This is really awesome, the game needs more balanced maps. The developers have proven time and time again that they are incapable of creating balanced asymetrical maps, well, this one is balanced so that great.

  8. For a second I thought it’s gonna be map based on village in tv serie “Lost” and I was like omfg neeeerdz… And now I just don’t care, WG is talented enough to fuck up balance even on symetric map :)
    Not to mention 1 new map per update so basicly 1 month is overwhelming for ppl who don’t spend massive amout of time in game. Most of the scrubs don’t even know well the ancient maps like Campinovka cuz they always stay in one same spot.

  9. Finally! YES! A perfectly symmetrical map!

    I’m sorry guys, but I’ve been wanting something like this for a LONG time! Remember, at least half of WoT gameplay is STRATEGY, not just shooting the other tanks.
    And the most popular strategy games maps are also the most symmetrical, but that also have their own quirks and potential abuse-points… think Python on StarCraft.

    That’s a Blizzard’s Lost Temple map for Warcraft/Starcraft. I mean, really, look at that: http://images.v-media.eu/vanioneu/ltwc3.jpg
    WG should focus on creating new stuff or polishing older content, and not at “adapting” (basically stealing) other people’s ideas.

    They actually remembered that some tanks are asymmetric and did rotational symmetry instead of mirror! AT 7 and M3 Lee will feel balanced on this map! WOOT!
