Oh yea, and one more little thing. According to Potoroo (US server), the gui_settings.xml in 9.1 newly contains the following lines:

Without the dots of course. A sign of roaming coming soon? Let’s hope so.

This type of “leakes” use to come around before the launch (like Googles stuff etc. etc.). Its a part of programmers code (if i know it good).
@PunchNiZ: Roaming means russians will be able to play on EU servers and destroy it by teamkilling and offending on chat.
Since you can disable chat, only teamkilling part can be a problem :P .
Well, that had nothing to do with the topic. To clarify it’s basically like transferring your account to a different server without the hassle and time wasted. So you can play with EU pals one day, then NA pals the next. Linking all of the servers basically. (NA,EU,ASIA,RU,KOREA,CHINA)

PuchNiX it is a good thing for people with terrible latency stuck on a certain server. As for troublemakers i think i read on FTR that people with chatbans,tk bans will not be able to use roaming feature. Shit i was once chat banned in 2011, hope i will be allowed to use roaming.
Exclude the CN server, that’s not run by WG…

No, they have said that you will only be able to use deals and special events from your home server.
A patch with no ninjanerfs, thats quite an achievement, but did you doublecheck all the vehicle models so there arent any 0 mm armors and messed up stuff like that?

I just hope they will think about a serious way to regulate roaming. I just don’t want to think about the possible flood of russians coming to EU servers, filling the chat with cyrillic letters and trolling around.

Doubt it, might kill a server though. Kinda sad how I get better ping on EU1 then NA_EAST, from Western United States. Plus all those people flooding into China server to get a Type 59G.
Same can be said about Europeans or Americans or anyone for that matter, assholes are not limited to a single nation.
As for regulation, I think they’ll put up a zero tolerance policy of some sorts, like if you’ve caused trouble, you get banned from roaming indefinitely. Read something along those lines on FTR, but that was a long time ago. Could have changed, but I think its a good idea on the surface.

What about reduction in allied ramming damage (hidden buff)?
In my opinion, the NA server is friendlier than the EU and RU servers, but with server roaming, TKing will be from almost never to way too common….
The M103 already got a massive nerf when the HD model went live, lol.
