- according to Cannoneer (WG tank developer), it’s not yet sure what gun will the Soviet tier 8 light tank LTTB have (57mm, 76mm, 85mm were mentioned), the tank was not balanced yet
- Soviet tier 7 light tank? “unfortunately, I won’t tell anything” (SS: the original idea was to have the LTTB as tier 8 going from some existing tier 7 tank, such as the KV-13, but it’s possible that LTTB will be downtiered to LT7, since historically it doesn’t really fit the LT8 slot (it’s way too weak))
- there is currently no info on swapping WT E-100 for another plan
- as reported earlier, the tier 8 German premium MT will likely be the Panther Ausf.F with 88mm L/71
- Japanese premium tier 8 medium tank? Tanitha: “We appreciate we have a large amount of dedicated Japanese players on the server, but developing tanks (even graphical ones) takes a lot of research and development. Please be patient with us.” (SS: my guess, STA-2B)
- crew specialization change (SS: as in, radioman to driver re-train for example): “Hello, its currently in planning / development, so we are considering the possibility to introduce this feature in our future updates. Its not in the pipeline for the short future though, so might be end of year early next year all going to plans.”
- Maus reconstruction status: “There is currently construction elaboration. This is a large-scale project and we will definitely inform community about updates on the works progress.”

Also, apparently, the “inside info” post is crap according to Storm. Not sure which parts are crap, because I actually know that some are true (the weather was indeed tested for example, it was even confirmed at some point by multiple devs), but it’s possible some of it might not be completely accurate. But then again, you guys already know to take any such leaks with a pinch of salt, right? :)

    so ive grinded 130k exp on my T-43 for nothin?

    That’s sad, i hope they reconsider. It’s basically old panther…
    It would be even more logical to give L/100 needle to premium and remove it from regular, giving long 88 instead…
    Still, i’m hoping they add some turbo variant or at least autoloading, there’s yet time to change…

    • You realize Old Panther was awesome and will be amazing as a Prem Med….In fact I bet it will rival the FCM in Unicum use.

      When ever a tank his high natural Pen with good handling and laser accuracy it is the best for cred earning as things like IS6 and T59 even have to use gold the FCM does not in 95% of cases.

      You also realize the 100 75mm and the 88/71 have near same pen…..So you want lower alpha? Thats dumb.

      I will love a Tigers gun on a med platform with lower aimtime etc. Seriously it will be great

      • That’s great, but:
        1. That config was in game already as regular, so this outcome is disgusting.
        2. It’s so plain that it’s boring. I want some Ahnenerbe stuff. Turbo at the very least…

      • You notice that the TRUE german plans were mount L71 in Panther F??? and later use an autoloader on it??? the 75mmL100 was a propose in 1943-44 that simple leave because problems with metals made imposible create a long thin gun…

        I see more logical use in Panther tier 7, that in the end elite is a Panther F, L71 as top gun with worst ROF and use the L100 in the premium tank that is a Panther F in tier 8 BUT buffing damage per shoot and nerfing ROF… as is now the premium tier 8 is the true Panther F 2nd stage… maybe add in Panther II autoloader gun as optional gun for L71.

  9. Anyone here know what the highest pen for a 57mm was INRL? I think the concept of smaller calibre higher pen needs to be in game more at higher tiers.

    I want T95 to have 90mm Semi SB with 280 ALpha and 280 Pen like it did INRL
    I want the 75mm super high velocity French gun to be added on some tanks.

    This really is a unique thing, kind of how the 140/62a has 320 Alpha but Railgun handling, so should the Prem Light tank IMO have a super HV 57mm that pens like 220+ But has 100 alpha.
