Map of the race track:
- the goal is to destroy all enemy tanks or to capture the base within 7 minutes
- M24 Chaffee (apart from being fast) fires shots, that do 50 damage (on average). It has 1000 hitpoints.
- the engine of the vehicle cannot be damaged during the race (all other modules can)
- driver and gunner of the crew cannot be killed, all other crew members can
- platoons will be matched only against other platoons
- M24 SPORT will be given to the players for free on 29.9.2014
- M24 SPORT cannot be sold, it will be removed from the hangar automatically when the event is over
- all the XP acquired on M24 SPORT will be transferred to T1 Cunningham after the battle is over (regardless whether you have it in garage or not)
- the entire crew will be (after the event is over) transferred to barracks and automatically retrained to standard M24 Chaffee
- the event (according to the missions on RU server) will last until 13.10.2014
- the missions for the battle will be as such: (win and survive, get 5000 creds, 1000 XP and 1000 crew XP), (win while playing in a platoon and while dealing 750 damage to the enemy, get 10000 creds, 2000 XP and 2000 crew XP), (win 50 times while getting 1000 base capture points, get 500k creds, 50k XP, 25k crew XP, 1 day of premium and 1 hangar slot)

Well, I guess it will be the same as in the football mode:
The one with the fewest bots wins. Basically applies for every WoT battle ever.
Why? You only get rewards if you win.
Though if you get matched up against a bot it would make winning easier.
Yeah I don’t see the BOT potential in this at all.

Gotta’ burn that gold. Seems almost everything Wargaming’s been doing lately has resulted in a method of burning more gold to actually get your reward.
Retraining to another tank is hard?

Not really. Since it will most likely be regular experience, regardless of whether you have accelerated crew training enabled on the T1 Cunningham. So its either useless, or you end up using gold to convert it to free experience.
Yes really. It will be regular exp earned in an elite tank (the chaffee sport) so you turn ACT on and all exp goes on the crew with none sitting on the tank. I did this with the T-54 sport, got a ready trained commander with 6th sense and no ‘spare’ exp on the ms-1
Will they let me train MY Chaffee crew in this mode?
I hoped it would be prem sport chaffee.. :(
So I can put my super scout crew in it and level up their second skill..

What happens to the crew if your barracks are full? Free barracks space?
Your Barracks will just be “too full”..
I tried it with the KV-1S Hoping the radioman would “fill” an empty spot and cause me to get +16… Sadly it was just 33 out of 32 slots used.

It’s pretty obvious. They’re also bringing back the original version of Port.
Can the tank be on fire or ammo racked?
If it is possible to retrain crews, then it may be worthwhile to transfer a gunner with deadeye perk to get a higher chance of fire / ammo rack.
Wtf, the guy on the right side will have longer route. There are only two turns right which give him advantage, the rest is left turns which help the guy on the left side. WG is stupid? Did they drink too much vodka?
You can change sides while jumping from the bridge
a couple of points….
First, the inside line “may” be slightly shorter but it has tighter turns.. tight turns mean losing speed…
Second, after the first corner there is a small chicane and after the second corner, there appear to be obstacles for the inside line, not the outside line…
can’t you shoot the other people? so if you are on the inside and it’s shorter wouldn’t you be infront and easier to shoot?

But I don’t HAVE a regular Chaffee…oh well, I have a bunch of premium light tanks I can train them on in case I do decide to get one.
