Hello everyone,
I don’t do this often (or rather, at all), but I am going to do an exception in this case. This post concerns mostly Turkish players (everyone can technically participate, but it’s all in Turkish, so).
On 26.8.2014, a respected member of the Turkish World of Tanks community, Samet Türkmen, passed away – he was very ill, he had leukemia. His friend, nickname BBOSS, decided to run a competition in his honor. The competition runs until 5th of October, the rules are under the link.
Thus, if you want to honor the memory of a respected Turkish player and perhaps win some prizes, feel free to participate.
My condolences on Samet’s passing.
is it scam?
Uh what?
Tankers never die. They just missing in action.
That is to spare the imaginations of tankers burning alive from ammo cuckoff or ripped to shreds from spalling.
I wonder if there are pictures of tanker gore out there.
It was too early. If fighters had had instagram and microcameras, that would have helped documentation.
Always sad to hear fellow digi-tankers pass away. I still remember the guy who had the epic stats in the M3 Lee.
Rest in peace

Remember Kolaski. Hope he found the peace he was looking for.
May his soul forever drive M3 Lee :)
Mate, if I remember corectly BBOSS is a clan, not a single individual.
Thank you very much Silent….

“Only for Turkish Players”
It can be changed. As I explained in the competition page, It was asked to Turkish Community Managers to change the rules for joining other nation’s players. Just waiting the answer…
Yup. The news has arrived.
Non-Turkish Players can join our competition.
The rules will be translated into English today.
Have a nice day…

omg
My condolences to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
It’s sad to hear when someone who you played with won’t be able to play anymore because he *cough* passed away.
My condolences to the family.
It’s always sad to lose someone.
The Competition has been updated with English translations.

Condolence to his family and friends, just curious how old is he? I remembered a friend died at young age with same disease in just 2 years after diagnosed, and a young neighbor also passed away after couple of years after being diagnosed with leukemia.
