New Stronghold Consumable

Hello everyone,

during his interview at Igromir 2014 (Moscow), Anton “Evilly” Pankov showed how the new Stronghold mode consumables would work – well, one of them (the ones mentioned were air recon (basically it spots the enemy tanks), air raid, artillery fire mission and AI turrets (“bunkers”)).

At 8:45, you can see for a short while the artillery fire support on the screen behind Evilly. A player will be manually able to select the angle of attack in order to take the landscape into account, you can also select the area on which it falls and the power of the artillery (SS: this will likely depend on the Stronghold tier). A clan can produce consumables in SH and use them.

  1. sure, and something to counter them? cos the air raid and other air stuff could be shoot down be specialized tanks like AA sherman or AA panther,( don’t know if russians have AA guns on tank hull)

    I’m going to start a society where the populace are rewarded for their mindless grinding at their designated work activity with the essentials required to live. Let’s call that silver. Should individuals wish to have luxury items, they must exchange silver for them at grossly unfair (re profitable) exchange rates.

    Also, the system will be a closed one, with silver and gold items only being exchangable in the one market with absolutely no competition.

    Russia? WoT? Wtf?!

  3. Typical wargaming cocks. Instead of fixing bugs and creating playable matchmaking (skill-based), they are adding more and more useless trash.

        41-45 The teams bad but you can teach them.

        46-49 They are avrage players. nothing wrong with them.

        50-52 A-okay fun skills well creative minds.

        53-58 Minor unicrum.

        60 and above. Unicrum congrats you got no life :D

        • <48 – bots, kids, daddies who cant play for shit.
          48-50 – somewhat trying to improve but still useless most of time. Depends on luck more than skill.
          50-52 – tries harder to be better, equalizes balance of luck and skill.
          52-54 – understands game pretty well and depends on skill.
          54-56 – Skill and only skill, tactics too.
          56-60 – rages at all players below its WR. Because they arent as good as them.
          60+ – try not to focus it and it slices your team.

  5. - there will be a clan “shop” in the Stronghold mode. Each clan will have a “shop”, where they will be able to buy unique tanks, camouflage and emblems for the SH resource
