WoT Blitz (and the entire mobile gaming) is not something I am very interested in, but occasionally, an interesting piece of information pops up.
Recently, I’ve read several threads about the fear of players, that the new Android Blitz will work on Android emulators, allowing the players to use keyboard and mouse for total pwneage. One unnamed player (better that way, since he was attempting something not exactly kosher) tested this theory with the popular Bluestacks emulator.
It is not working. According to the player, it crashes and freezes on launch. It’s actually possible to make the game run, but the textures are missing (pink and white checkers) and it suffers from impossible lags. So, no keyboard + mouse pwnage for you!
Unless you find out how to fix it.

He has got a point. FTR is a great way to share knowledge, as there are so many people visiting daily, along with people who actually have influence on what Wargaming does. This is a 100% pure exploit of the game, and it would ruin everything about WoT: Blitz if it became mainstream. It is crucial for the game’s continued development that it is impossible to emulate it on a frankly more qualified platform for gaming, as the gameplay and balance will be completely ruined otherwise.

Did try to connect keyboard to my phone, but nope, you can use pointer, but not button it selv. I also try ps3 controller, but no luck.
What phone do you have ?
i have Asus Transformer,and sadly the game cant use the keyboard and the touchpad…

I owned one and i wasnt very satisfied with its performance
I dont really care about mouse and keyboard. I have old PS2 controller conected to my mini android pc in living room so i can easilly play the game with controller, but its only way how i can play it on that mini pc because its connected to TV so no touchscreen.
Try connect keyboard + Maus to tab. It could be interesting. And that’s only the bluestacks, there are some other interesting emulators on the internet, and bluestacks isn’t my favorite :-)
Bluestacks still uses Android Kitkat,Lollipop will change this because it wont be an emulator but a virtual machine.
on Bluestacks Blitz didn’t even start… On Andy android emulator is working, but textures are pink as you wrote :)
I guess it might work on NVidia Shield but it’s more like a joystick controll system, rather than mouse and keyboard.
You can play Wot Blitz on Genymotion Android Emulator. I’m playing it with dualshock 3 from my PS3.

I’m going to see if WG left anything client-side for me to poke…
I tried to use my OTG connector with my Mouse/KB and it doesn’t really work… you can drive and click the UI elements, but you can’t aim.
I wouldn’t have minded if you had put my name in :P
Wargaming has already said that there’s nothing they can do about k&m players and that there is nothing in the rules or anywhere that states that it is wrong to use external control options instead of the touchscreen.
Or for that matter, playing on an emu.
