Hello everyone,

M56 Scorpion got rebalanced on supertest to tier 7. With that, its characteristics got changed – as such (for 100 percent crew):

Tier: 7 US TD
Hitpoints: 820 (earlier 1050)
Weight: 7,144 tons (same)
Engine power: 200 hp (same)
Power-to-weight: 28 hp/t (same)
Maximum speed: 45/12 km/h (same)
Terrain resistance: 1,055/1,247/1,726 (same)
Hull traverse: 40 (buffed from earlier 34 deg/s)
Viewrange: 380 (nerfed from 400)
Radiorange: ?

Armor: 1/1/1

Gun: 90mm
Penetration: 219
Damage: 240
DPM: 1925,3 (buffed from 1854)
Reload time: 7,479 (buffed from 7,767s)
ROF: 8,022 (buffed from 7,725)
Accuracy: 0,326 (nerfed from 0,288)
Aimtime: 1,92 (buffed from 2,01s)
Depression: -10 (same)
Gun traverse angle: 60 degrees

So, it was basically buffed AND its tier reduced by one? Me gusta!

  1. well, seems quite reasonable for now, not sure how in game will work.. waiting it to be priced correctly to train my TD crews… how many crews needed anyways??

          • Oh, yes. P/W of 28 makes a slow tank indeed. People need to stop looking at just top speed to determine mobility. Because AMX 40 does 50 km/h [/sarcasm].

            This thing will accelerate like lightning and go uphill without effort, not to mention turn on a dime. Outside light tanks, it’s mobility is hard to beat. Top speed is only good for long distances, and even then 45 km/h isn’t slow.

    • Because good accuracy combined with, for a tier 8 TD, low pen, damage and DPM is so OP.

      Such power creep.

          • The most accurate tank in game to this day is WTE 100 with 12,8 cm having 0.29 dispersion, yeah being more accurate tank the THE most accurate tank in the game is such a massive exaggeration

            • These supertest stats are actual in game stats, therefore including the commander bonus of 100% crew. WTE 100 has 0.278 accuracy in such circumstance. 0.288 is the same as for example the AT-15, which is displayed in garage as 3.0. So this probably had 3.0 accuracy in garage (which has always excluded the 10% commander bonus for some reason) where the WTE 100 has 2.9.

    It was necessary though. This vehicle was absolutely horrible at tier VIII, and it would be pretty bad at tier VII aswell. It’s balanced now :) You kan kind of compare it to a Hellcat, since they will get the same MM.

  11. Me Gusta indeed! I knew this thing couldnt work at tier 8. 4 crew should make it a good t95 trainer. I dont think we gotta worry about camo, with literally no armor and a extremely low profile, its the only way it’l survive.

    Now i just need to get some money to shove into wg’s wallets…

  13. I’m I the only one around here who sees that this tank has less DPM than T6 Dicker max?
    The D has same ROF and 300 dmg with great camo value and gun depresion.

    • D.Max is also a slow turd… and it’s camo isn’t that great. 16% is pretty average… the CGC has the same amount.

  19. Yeah, as suspected from a premium tank, it’s totally worse than other tier 7 TDs like the magnificent AC 46 or breathtaking T25/2.
    No powercreep or moneygrab at all, folks.

    219mm pen, .32 accuracy, 1.9s aim, god-like depression, and with a 7.5s reload time at Tier 7?

    • Didn’t have only two crewmembers IRL. It’s hard to see, but I’m pretty sure that at some point I see three people at the gun, and obviously the driver would be inside the actual vehicle.

  23. Still nowhere close to the “totally balanced” OP-122-44, but at least it’s in the same league as T25/2 (Full turret and doesn’t get two-shot by M4 derp) and AC 46 (which gets enough front armour to bounce 175 pen AP with some frequency if you use your gundep at all) now…

  24. They have nerfed Hellcat (all TDs) to the ground, E25 withdrawn from sale and they will add this tank to the game? Like a couple of patches ago when they totally ruined Foch 155 due to noob whinners complains and put the OPtragger E100… Comuniist logic….

  25. All it has going for it is camo and viewrange. Which isn’t as useful as hitpoints and armor.
