      • LOL you legitimately believe with THAT gun it’ll be tier 6 TD?? and with THAT mobility? Odds are it has pretty damn good camo too. Trust me, the scorpion will be the next OP prem tank in the hands of players who are actually decent at the game. ALL the noobs will want one after seeing how OP it CAN be, which is where the profits will come from

        • Look at its armor. 1/1/1. OP gun, ZERO armor. Tier 6 glass cannon to end all glass cannons.

          • Reducing armor below certain point doesn’t change anything at all – 1 mm armor is effectively same shit armor as 30 mm on Nashorn, so there is no need to compensate it with better gun…
In other words – Leopard has shit armor. If a new tank was introduced with halved Leo armor and better gun it would be imbalanced, as that “armor downgrade” wouldn’t change anything.

So no tier 6 for Scorpion unless it would have shit DPM and camo

            • Fair point except one thing: 1/1/1 armor means that any tank can easily pen you with HE. You’ll get one-shotted by Tier 4′s. Even the Pz1C’s top gun will overmatch the Scorpion’s armor.

        • I don’t know what LoT is babbling about, Scorpion is a tier 7. It didn’t fit tier 8 without a serious(unrealistic) buff, so it got rebalanced down a tier.

  1. Looking at the stats for the cannon on the FV4202…
Am I reading correctly, is the cannon the L7 or did they tweek the stats for the 20 pounder? O.o And did they made the turret on the tank larger? O.o

EDIT: never mind, looking at the ammo, the gun is the 2 pounder ye.. it just looks really huge in HD O,o

      • the 20 pounder was a 84 mm gun the L7 was a 105 mm smothebore gun , one was outdated the other is used even today …yea the same gun… at least check wikipedia before posting if a book is to much:).

        • Haven’t googled it but I’m pretty sure the L7 is rifled. Actually it has to be rifled since WG won’t allow smooth bores in the game.

  2. Is it just me that thinks the pz3 K looks kinda cute with a large turret on a smallish hull?

    • Just a later Pz. III variant, Germany had a habit of continually modifying their tanks with all kinds of different upgrades.

The gun it has looks like the 75mm L/43, which is the same gun as what the Pz. IVa gets. It’ll probably end up being somewhere between the Pz. III and IVa in terms of armor and mobility, otherwise it’s not particularly interesting.

  3. I’d buy the STA-2 if it saw tier 9 maximum. Not that one can’t make 185 pen work, the Pershing does fine, but the STA is not as, shall we say, forgiving. I’ve no desire to play what is basically a nerfed STA-1 in tier 10 matches. I’ve got plenty of tanks for credit earnings, and three reasonably well skilled Japanese crews, so don’t really need it for crew training. Plus, I already have the Chi-Nu-Kai if I really want to train crews. Its boring, but it works well enough, and its gun is actually good for a tier five medium.

On the other hand, AMX CDC and T-54 Prototype, YES PLEASE!

    • Apparently the FV4202 -> Cent ActionX isn’t happening this patch, so you’ve got a bit more time. Get grinding!

  4. Seems like my beloved AMX-50B and E-100 will also get covered in a layer of dust and mud

  6. These are all premium tanks i bet , the soviet one (not russian ,,SOVIET,,) is a new 112 , is 6 tipical tank .And where in WG history books taken from Stallins own library did they see a T-54 look like a T-44 ….its like saying its red but it looks like green…i mean T-54 prototype had a bit longer turret this looks just like T-44

  7. I think the IS-5 is either going to be a mission reward tank or a replacement for the IS-6. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Wargaming start to rotate out older premium tanks from regular sale and replace them with new ones. After all, that would create a buying frenzy for the outgoing premiums, and then those people who have to “have them all” (like me) would buy the new tank even though we already had the tank it replaced. I have what, 4 Soviet premium heavies, and I’d buy the IS-5 in all likelihood.
