Info from Russian server – not sure it is valid for EU and NA as well, but it seems to be a system issue. In the portal post, WG admits that individual missions (specifically rewarding the girl crews and the tanks) have bugs. These will be fixed by a separate hotfix patch, currently there’s no ETA on that.

- according to Storm, there will be a separate test for new motion physics (or perhaps multiple tests), after which it will be decided what to do with it. This test will most likely take place in February, if nothing gets broken, but all major problems were handled already
- the new physics are apparently requiring (or can influence) when it comes to server performance
- WG was testing PvE lately, no comment on results
- there are plans for improved water effects
- regarding the viewrange nerfs of various classes, Storm states: “It’s complicated. We are currently actively studying statistics and heat maps to understand better what needs to be done and how. For now, there are no definitive conclusions.”
- it’s possible the Leopard 1 model will be changed as well in HD to feature more… “junk” on it
- the reason why Maus won’t have the junk hanging on it is that it’s large and historically, all sorts of things can be stored inside. Plus, the HD model is already made.
Hardly seems to be a coincidence that they’re focusing on pve with Armored Warfare around the corner. Hopefully it doesn’t end up like HBs.

IIRC Armored Warfare also has the beautiful eye candy Havok Physics. Where are those?

Leo-1 with side skirts (only cosmetic ballistic rubber) and more ‘junk’ in the back of the turret will be very welcome, it’d look even better with that stuff.

According to the German post, if you don’t have any free barracks slots, the female crew members will not be awarded. However they can track your mission progress and award them to you manually.

Why in the hell would they replace a tier 10 tank with tier 8 tank? They’re not scammers, for god’s sake. And to give both would be too fat.

I don’t understand why they are working so hard on HD models no one I know cares about them. Fix whats broken and stop nerfing everything in the game!!!
You know no one then. Lot’s of people like the HD models and you are frankly, in the minority.
He is only in the minority when it comes to the FTR community. It was stated plenty of times that around 50% WoT players are playing on bad computers, which means that even if they wanted to, there would be no reason for them to care about HD models.

There are a lot of gamers that seem to be afraid of women. That is the only logical reason to care what the picture of a crew member you can’t even see in battle looks like.
I’ll take as many of the female crew members as I can get, the equivalent of BiA plus another perk at 100% for free. Sign me up. I don’t care if my tank is crewed with the Village People so long as they have a good skill set.
Village People crews are for world of Warships :)
