Rita’s StuG III Ace Tanker

Hello everyone,

just felt like posting this – two days ago I platooned with Rita and while I sucked in that particular battle, Rita did an ace tanker with her StuG. I just felt like posting this, as it was a really good battle.

Seriously though, I thought the term “banana” for the eastern corridor was well used. Or was it on RU server? Can’t remember.

  1. SS chooses well his platoonmates. ;)
Ofc, it is strictly for.. entertainment.
A boy and a girl alone, having fun for some hours.. :p

    • No matter how many times SS features Rita’s videos on this blog, she ain’t gonna give him any booty. Sorry to burst your bubble, SS, and welcome to the friend-zone.

  2. Me and my clanmates used to use the term “banana” for all the mordor corridors that are curvy, like the north-eastern pass on the Mountain Pass or sth like that

    • We in Finland use Kehä 1, Kehä 2, Kehä 3 (Finn’s understand). All corridors where only heaviest armor can go are called “Kuolemankuja” Death alley etc,

Banana was new for me… Usually we call them “Kurwalooppi”, Kurwa loop…

  3. Nice video. =)

Tho it is very easy to get Ace tanker with a stug nowadays.
Just yesterday I got 3 ace tanker badges with my stug. And I only played 5 games with it. :P

I was surprised how easy it was.
Well, I love using my stug. :)

  4. I call it “mordor” it’s more from polish word “mord” than a “lord of the rings”. But the names are similar xD

  5. I think “Banana” as a designation for some curved “corridors” in some WOT maps came from famous RU players and their Youtube videos. I don’t think, that non-russian speaking players in EU use that term a lot. :)

    • The “banana corridor” has been used long before WoT… and yes, by EU players as well…

      • its funny how everybody is using different words for that part of the map.

The most typically used german term for this corridor is “Metzgergasse” or – “Schlachtergasse” which means “Butchers alley”.

I for myself am using “Street 8″ – “8er Strasse” ever since. though it is now mostly on line 7 of the map, but was on line 8 before rework iirc.

  6. dat chat windows… blinking like hell…. never happens to me…

    i’m a poor lonesome cowboy
i’ve a long long way from home
    and this poor lonesome cowboy
has got a long long way to home

  7. just saw the battle on rita’s live stream… great battle.. was fun :-) … greetz boekser

  8. Sorry, tried listening to her AMX12t review yesterday and… no. That accent of hers is killing me.

  9. Having platooned a long time with a latvian player, i’ve seen some recurring terms such as ‘banana’ in himmelsdorf and ‘light’ as in 6th sense so its not that strange. And controlling the banana is obvious troll material of questionable taste whether you’re portuguese or not :)

    • Yup, we Latvians, use those terms as such.
The word “light” is that light which comes from the lightbulb, it has different word in Latvian for describing the shining light then a class of weight, so it’s more logical for us. :)

  10. As a French, I also use the term of banana in conjonction with Death Alley. It depends on my daily mood… ;-)

      • I was grinding the StuG somewhere in early 2012, when gold ammo was truly gold, physics weren’t there, and the only way to measure your e-penis was the winrate.
Now I could simply rebuy that shit, load full HEAT, and go rek scrubs… But why the fuck should I bother? I have the 50 120 to unlock and buy, and my Indien Panzer is printing Ace Tankers on its own ;)

  11. I hope you ain’t hitting that SS. Brah, you can do better. She looks borderline Down Syndrome.

    God, I’m such a dick.
