just quick heads up. 9.6 Test 2 will likely start today. There were some rumors that there wouldn’t be one and that the patch would actually be released tomorrow, but it’s not true – Storm confirmed that there are ALWAYS two rounds of testing, the third one is optional.
List of changes is not available yet, I will post it when it will.

CDC has apparently had a stealth nerf. On forums I heard people had datamined that it’s terrain resistance went from incredibly good to incredibly bad.
I bet it did. Otherwise, it would be mega OP.

This was going to be a gold mine for them, and they ruined it.
Meh, most people only look at the datacards, not the full stats on 3rd party websites.
And besides, they had to nerf it. It was going to be too good otherwise.

Can someone tell me about the IS-3 breaking up in welds from the “Legend” rumor? Someone explain please?
- there is a “legend” going on around RU forums about the IS-3 frontal armor breaking up in welds after being shot at. Storm states that this happened only once during the testing, after which the design of the frontal nose part was reworked for this never to happen again.

What I can think of is the frontal nose pike was too steep and if the welding got a direct hit, it couldn’t stand the impact and broke … but that’s just my idea…
i’m glad someone asked this. i really also did not understand what does it mean “breaking up in welds after being shot at”.
Is it just me or are these patches coming way to frequent for you, too ?
yep. only minor changes and mods stop work.
Too often and break more things than repair…bringing more wg home brewed tanks and not fixing whats really broken, like ghost shells, lag that affects both team at same time…
Lag is not a big issue, sounds like you got a bad connection. However, I do notice once in maybe every 10 games a slight rubber band effect like once.
Would agree with you if its only me, but when out of 30 players in game more than 20 asks in chat lag?…than its not just me. Or matches where only one tanks plays rest drop connection…
I agree. Would be much better to introduce patches at least once per 3 months.. Or at least 2.
Not only mods stop working, but usually you cannot view all the replays created till the patch day. :((
And in that way devs could.. I don’t know, at least have time to introduce new stuff in Test client without major sxrewups… Or… yeah, who am I telling this. Most probably they cannot.
agree. too much patches without big differences. actually this “accuracy nerf” is the biggest thing in this patch. nothing more.
My garage needs a buff – release the LT buffs already.
The patch is OK WG just release.
I hope they release M56 Scorpion in this time.

Why do I have the feeling, that WG will get what they think they want – in Patch 9.6 in Live server there will be barely any TD’s on the field.
And later on the whine will go back to heavies, because they will dominate all the tunnel/city/other maps now..
Hell, even in open maps there will be no more invisible Borsig-bushes firing at you..
So, let’s see.. :)
