Of Individual Mission Rigging

Hello everyone,

the individual missions have been around for a while now. Many players have their StuG IV’s already, some have the T28C, some have the T55A and more than a thousand (on RU server anyway) have Object 260. I am sure many of us noticed the change in gameplay style in randoms, occasional retarded behavior of a player, who wants to complete the mission at all costs and all that. It was to be expected and I am sure Wargaming counted on it. But there’s another really serious side effect the individual missions have, the rigging.

Rigging is a process, during which the players on both teams, instead of fighting one another are working together to complete the mission objectives, screwing the rest of the team in the process. The most notorious mission to be rigged (as far as I can tell) is the last mission of the heavy tank series, where a lot of bounced shells is required. The standard rigging process of this mission looks like this:

- you take three (or five, works better) friends (clanmates) and form two platoons
- you wait until very late in the night for the best chance to appear in the battle together
- you coordinate (via Teamspeak for example) it so that both platoon leaders click “battle” at once (simply by counting down on TS). In late night hours when very few players play, the chance to appear in one battle (on the opposite sides, one platoon each side) is very high
- you meet on some spot in the battle (preferably without witnesses) and you shoot each other’s tank strongspots (frontal turret, mantlet, spaced armor parts) to accumulate as much “damage saved by armor” as possible. There we go, mission done!

Some cases are REALLY obvious (even some players from some “good” clans are not very smart people), but some (where the riggers aren’t all from the same clan), not so much. If you saw the last “rigging” post on FTR, the riggers were punished by Wargaming and by their clan, but that was after the video appeared on FTR – and even then (the video was pretty damning), some people were claiming it was actually not rigging. Check this another example – here, players from clan -BIA- on both sides meet in one section of the map and are “fighting very hard”:

You can see the players following the patter I wrote about above practically to the letter. Naturally, the riggers were also reported in the game. But did anything happen to them? Were they punished?

They were not. SVK_Lovec111 (one of the participants) for example was/is playing even today, according to Noobmeter (and online status) – so clearly, there is no automated system to prevent rigging and reporting via ingame system does not work, as: how many times do the riggers have to be reported for this to work? Because there are rarely more than one or two witnesses to the event, like in the case above. Also, they would have to be completely retarded to actually try to do this TWICE or with many witnesses (once is usually completely enough).

Now, you might claim – okay, fuck it, let’s report them via a ticket. Ooops, you can’t do that either:

Capture

So yea, rigging battles is actually pretty safe, unless you get VERY unlucky and the witness actually has a clue of what’s going on, films the entire thing or makes it somehow public. How many players do you think even know what “rigging” is? Five percent tops would be my guess. The fact that it is unfortunately “safe” and that even if the players get punished, the fines are very low (what’s a week of a ban, nothing, I am not even sure they reset the rigged missions for you). A good example comes from ASIA server, where the amount of rigging by one clan specifically, VPA, has become very, very blatant. WG ASIA is generally quite lax in these matters – you heard the name VPA before, haven’t you?

That’s right, they are the same guys that rigged the third CW campaign a month and a half back. Now, they are unsurprisingly back at it again and I recieved literally dozens of mails regarding this issue – it’s clearly a pressing matter for the honest ASIA players and not just some random outlier. Additionally, the 3rd campaign scandal on ASIA has been allegedly swept under the rug – but I don’t know, ASIA clan stuff is not exactly my focus of interest. But given the number of reports, I completely believe the issue with IM rigging is notable.

You know what I think? I think that IM rigging is punished strictly on RU (they even publish the names and clans that are guilty of rigging), but on EU and ASIA, nobody gives a flying fuck about it unless a video appears on the web or something. This is not good – and concerns not as much me, as it does all those players, who got their reward tanks honestly through skill and effort. How will they be regarded, when others got theirs clearly by rigging?

The solution would perhaps be to publish the names of players and their punishments, as well as completely ban them from the entire IM system, forever. That sounds like a harsh and yet fitting punishment, don’t you think?

    • ASIA Community presents evidence on Forums

      VPA replies with:
      “Racist Westerners!”
“You GATO” (Vietnamese version of “You jelly?” [GATO means cake])
“My English not good! Stop picking on us you Racist Westerners!”
“You have nothing on us. Let WG decide”
“We are not rigging battles you Racist Westerners!”

And the forums lock down on the racism but thats kinda difficult have you have a clan named Vietnam People’s Army.

        • This might be true for Asia staff – but for sure not for EU staff. Sucking a cock needs more brain than anybody in WG EU has…..

      • even the moniker “VN 2.0″ is starting to get ugly as well in the ASIA/APAC server. I wonder how the RU guys got their rigging bloodhounds though.

      • actually, GATO here does not mean “cake”
it’s a shorten word used for an insulting phrase, meaning “getting envious/jealous, but can’t do a damn thing”.

I really hate those VPA, not all, but quite a lot of them, despite being Vietnamese myself.

        • Its a counter troll. We just pretend theyre misspelling gateau.

But yeah, its getting ugly, theres a lot of anti-VPA sentiment in the English speaking section, and from what we can tell about the Viet section, theres a lot of internal division and anger (theyre still going on about dodgy mod use in C3).

Tan has requested WG develop some tools to enable them to mess with riggers IM progress, but until they get used, preferably in a high profile manner, theres going to be a fair bit more rage.

  1. I think the heavy mission is stupid with the 8k dmg blocked/received/done so if I let a stupid player shoot me like 5mins to get it and it’s still not done then I might have to do it some other way…

      • Only heavy tank I have is the WZ-111 and it’s not that easy to do it with it belive me…

      • In the Maus it is easy, but what if u dont have the Maus E100 or IS7( which is hard to do it in if u dont have the right conditions)????

      • That is a tier 10 mission for sure, hard to do at lower tiers, hard to do with my AMX 50 B lol

    • VK4502B, managed it in 3rd or 4th battle. Get to city, sidescrape / cover behind a corpse, show LFP to lure newbies into shooting. Done.

I imagine with Maus it’s even easier, because you get 1100 more HP if they kill you.

      • I also did it with the Maus in 2nd or 3rd try (later in E-100 again for the honors).

But think about this mission is for Tier 4+ and we are talking only about Tier 9 and 10 Tanks here. With a very good game, the mission should be possible with some Tier 7 (T29 maybe) or Tier 8, but i think its extremely fail regarding your Award-Tank in this case.

        • The missions should be balanced to be able to get the reward tank in a tank of the same tier. That means it at least gives everyone a chance of getting one of the reward tanks.

    • The mission is really hard, I don’t have any high tier high armor heavy tank ATM, sold by black prince some while ago and I don’t exactly see it happening in my conqueror or my caernaron, so yeah, I totally agree

    • easy mission, worst are those when u have to kill 3 meds and mm still gives 0-2 in enemy team or when u have to kill 1 tier higher and u r on top and such
battle when i can do this mission is 1 of 10, or less, those with 8k i can do in every battle

      • Funny thing when I had to complete the mission for LTs which includes destroying SPG. You ask? How hard can it be? So many scumbags doing their missions (3-4 spgs per game). Then I activated the mission and I kid you not – 3 SPGS in 15 games I played with M41 Bulldog or Ru251.

      • ha, I stuck with “capture base” mission :D I rarely reach base or have option to cap when only few enemy tank left (waiting to be killed).

        • i dont have maus, e100, is7, so im screwed.

i dont platoon so im screwed.

Thanks WG for providing these missions for the clans u so LOVE.

    • The first HT:15 mission honestly isn’t that hard. I’ve completed it with my IS-7, ffs. Any tier 10 heavy that has some semblance of armor should be able to complete this mission rather easily.

    • 8k one went easy for me, 1st battle, Maus, Himmelsdorf, Tank ally. :). It’s the later block/received/done missions that are gonna suck.

  2. Well, since this is not “business critical” for WGN – why would they even care? They rather point out, that there is a automated system (that is a fucking fake anyways, i bet) instead of raising the efforts (which costs at some point ressources). I am quite disappointed by WGN in the recent. They get richer and richer, and cockier – more the feeling that they treat the Player-Community as Dumbfucks that shall “Pay” instead.

    • What do you want them to do? Why do you care if some guy has a T-55A because he shortcut a total of 7 – 10 missions which are even capable of being rigged? It is nothing more than a shiny trinket. The T-54 is a flat out better tank. You would rather them create some sort of state security police that digs through everyone’s trash to see all the bad things they have done? Well that same police force will not only be expensive, taking money away from real development, but will probably find something on you, me and everyone else at some point. The missions are stupid, who cares how much damage I block — the company makes stupid missions and the players try to get around them the best way possible. And then players get blamed. It all perpetuates just more stupidity to react to it in any way. If the game is no longer for you, punishing someone else for having a shiny isn’t going to suddenly make you have fun again.

  3. genius, until clanmates can play against each other, i would done that too, random battles about 1 vs 29 or if u playing plat then 3 vs 27
until they are playing “rigging”, the rest of the team playing 13 vs 13 :D
    problem? :A

      • Did it twice on my E75 for the stug mission. First time completed the prime objective and second time for the x-tra comendation. Hard? Not really. Sure, it does not happen every game but you will manage to do it in 10-15 games tops unless you are totally unlucky and a dumbarse about it.

    • I have no problem with them doing this once to complete their personal mission. Just one time and it is over, better than tomatos who try to block dmg countless times instead of shooting back. This is the system WG implemented, both platoons do not matter for this match, for the rest of the players it is still a fair match.

      • I think focusing on players who abuse the system (you like that, it seems) is not the best course of action.

The real problem is preparing missions “for skilled players” and setting up the conditions that work against your team or require not skill but extreme luck ergo a countless tries until finally the battle will work the way you need.

Especially that it’s still unclear if those mission have a time limit to complete.

      • The simple fix as far as I see it is to make the missions passively active and possibly just requiring multiple completions to increase difficulty/how long they take to complete. This would promote consistency and reduce the tunnel vision that people get if they could progress through the missions faster (do multiple at a time) by playing well IN GENERAL and being consistent.

Having to select a mission and then having to make it happen in every game you play until you complete the mission is so frustrating at times that rigging is a given and should have been expected.

Really poor design choices made by WG for the structure of the missions and their progression – let alone for quality of play in the games themselves.

For missions supposed to require skill its amusing that they chose a system that only serves to increase RNG in every way possible: shittier and more selfish teammates, crazy and unbalanced MM (games with comps of 4 arty 8 tds and 3 meds), etc.

Sure its ethically dubious to rig games to complete missions; but blaming the players for trying to compensate for missions that are terribly designed in almost all aspects is blaming the wrong people.

      • I actually applaud and support rigging those missions. Fully.
I shouldn’t, it seems unfair… but unfair to whom? I’d rather play one mission when half of my team fucks me up for rigging than playing this state of game as it is and see people you need to depend going yolo.

And honestly – PMs are just taking out lots of fun from the game for me personally.
Yes, someone will say, don’t like it – don’t do it. But at the same time, I bet that most of you guys plays WOT for among other reasons because it is competitive – you can match with other random people from around the Europe and win…
So the missions do lay on my mind as something I “need” to complete because others do. You don’t play WOT to lose all the time… to be among the worse… you play to win.

Now, I am 1 mission (LT-15) from the StuG. I play 3 days now. Yesterday, I played RU 251 and WZ-131 for 6 hours and didn’t get Prokorovka or Fiery Salient even once. I kept getting bad scouting maps.
Today I am playing basically since morning, got twice good maps and did 3.6 and 3.7k spotting damage…
If I could – I would rig the damn game already.

And I don’t mention how bad my WN8 is dropping because of that (playing passive scout gets you whopping 145 WN8 per game if you play it right).
All this is actually against my normal play. Against the way I laid for myself as improvement path.
But then I can’t really stop because that would be admitting to failure.

        Psychological drama ;)

    • I’ve been stuck on the LT-15 mission on the StuG IV for over a week now. Getting 4k spotting damage depends entirely on the situation which is pure luck. After dozens of failed attempts in the Type 62, I’m beginning to feel absolutely ridiculous.

All this for a mass-produced WW2 tank. Unbelievable.

      • I gave up trying to do that mission. Instead I managed to complete the secondary objective for all other classes and I got the StuG.

      • Dude u need to have 4 skills on a scout one of those should be cammo and stay in a f—-g bush i msde that mission 10for more and more spot damage and i manage to reach 9k spoted damage this aint hard

        • And if I don’t have 4 skills? Not everyone love scouts. Come on. This is the easiest PM set. I completed arty missions with Hummel (2 skills) and stock GW Panther (eventually getting 100% crew). So why do I need 4 skills on scout. It should be completable with 100% crew and good tank.

      • I still haven’t completed LT-15 for the Stug. However, I already have the Stug because I completed the other four classes with honors. I still have LT-15 running because I want that 5th female crew member.

I originally completed the TD and Arty missions with honors and the MT and HT missions without (I died in the MT mission and lost on the HT mission). After more than 30 games trying to get 4k assistance damage I got fed up and decided to try to get the HT and MT missions with honors. Five games later I had the Stug. Two in the Type T-34 (first one only one TD on the enemy team, second one two, but I got both and survived), and 3 in the E100 (all three were wins, but the first two were steamrolls where I simply couldn’t output, take, or block enough damage before the red team folded to complete the mission).

I’d say of the Stug missions the HT-15 was the easiest of the five to complete if one has a proper tank (E100, Maus, IS-7, VK 4502B, etc.) The LT mission is probably the hardest because it is both map and team dependent. It would also be the hardest to rig.

        • Malinovka standard with T5-8 scout. I have got above 6-8 k spotting dmg there countless times. Easy… There is this bush… :-)

      • I wouldn’t say it was easy, but LT-15 didn’t seem incredibly difficult if you actually scout with your scout. Passive scouting when you get certain map/modes has a decent chance to achieve 4k spotted with a tier 7 or 8 LT.

        • I agree that it doesn’t sound hard, but it is map and team dependent. I’ve had multiple games where I lit half the enemy team, but my team failed to damage them sufficiently despite being in a position to do so. I had one game on Lakeville where I went center in my 59-16 and lit 9 enemy tanks driving toward the city (it was encounter). Multiple members of my team fired multiple rounds at them, and managed a whopping 783 damage in a tier 8 game.

    • Agreed.

I didn’t rig any battles (yet). I got banned for CW when we capped for fame points before shooting the last enemy. It cost me 3 days of premium. So if I ever try something fancy again, I will make certain I don’t have premium time left.

The thing that annoys me is that the banning system is completely random. You get reported, you get a ban, yet many others get away with it. When you platoon with a higher tier tank because of mission requirements, it’s sort of rigging, because the odds for your team are worse.

By the way, when you see this kind of activity between clan members it is pretty obvious. So if you want to have better odds, you clan quit for a few days and still rig battles in the early hours. Alternatively you platoon with a mix of clans. Or the one that needs the mission plays alone and tries to end up against a platoon of 3 who are clanless but still on TS with him. You make it less obvious and have better chances to get away with it.

The banning system is silly. Even when you play alone and try not to shoot people but just side scrape, it could be considered rigging, because you prolong the game by keeping enemies alive, just like I got banned with CW. The rules are not clear.

    • I probably choose rigg the battle instead playing like a retard for hundreds of battles. Waiting for the luck to come? Heh..why waiting for a luck while there is another way. If you dont do it, there will other will do it. That gonna increase ur GATO about them.

Everyone who focusing the PM might want to end the missions ASAP. Do you want to stick ur ass with a mission for entire 100 days? Jezzz come on…U can end the mission in 1 or 2 days and focus the rest 98 days with other missions.

So if you gonna play like a retard..going for painfull grinding in RB. Oh well..you will end up raging and raging. Whinning in genchat then whinning in forum..cursing the tomatoes..curse and curse more..until one day come down here in FTR…continue raging and whining. Well you got a chance to end up ur misery by doing rigg battle. Mission complete and move along.

WG already predict this kind of situations before unleash the PM. They pretty damn well know about this rigging stuff.

You can call me idiots or something…but deep down that’s the reality we are facing now. You pretty damn well know about it unless u rather hide the facts and keep raging and whining.

  4. The issue with “damage blocked” rigging is how difficult it is a conclusively prove. Most tier 10 heavies will bounce center-of-mass snapshots with silver rounds – in 2:30 or so you will get enough blocked damage to be most of the way to the mission. Just peek-a-boo snapshot until you get your goal then zerg rush.

Good players might spot it but it is almost impossible to prove. The IS-4 example was about as extreme as you can get and even then I suspect if they were not in the same clan they would have gotten away with it.

IM rigging will occur and needs to be opposed, but it is not close to cut-and-dried. Most examples won’t be a clan bringing 3 tier 10 TDs, killing 14 of the enemy team and letting the last guy (in their clan who was corner camping) drive up and kill them in his Panther 88 for MT15.

  5. So there we got a good example, why arty is important. I actually hate arty (I play british heavys), but it is actually a very good thing for community!
It can watch the whole battlefield without being too busy, like a Scout on enemy ground or a heavy trying to save a line.(I think no other player noticed this, maybe the 13 90 and arty but no other player)

But now some words too the rigging. Actually it shows who the real noobs are: the guys/girls who got a good WIN8 and think the can do whatever they want to.

SS, your idea for punishment is the best solution!

  6. Well if you really need it .. I got T28C already and im halfway to the T55, playing solo and only doing platooning for the respective missions. Its really not that hard if you pick the right tank for the task.

    • Absolutely true, the key is having the right tanks. I was the first person in my clan to get the Stug because I am a tank hoarder, so I had something that fit every task (at last count I was over 150 tanks in the garage). Some missions require a high tier tank, others are best done in lower tiers. I completed several of the HT missions with the Pz. B2, and several of the LT missions in the Valentine II.

I got distracted by 8-bit games, and then helping clan mates complete platoon missions for the Stug, so my progress on the T28 missions has slowed a lot, I only have 19 or the 75 missions done so far. The good news is that now I have three more two skill crews for tank lines I am working thanks to the 8-bit, and personal missions aren’t going anywhere.

  7. This is how Wargaming or Tanitha will react on the Asia Forum:

WG/Tanitha: We’ve punished the “riggers”; we’ve slapped them 3-day and 7-day bans (which is as painful as getting slapped by a wet bus ticket)

Honest ASIA Server Tankers: please publish their names, strip them of their IM progress so they’ll learn their lesson, and/or perma-ban them!

WG/Tanitha: Oh noes! We can’t have naming and shaming. Here, have a three-day RO for even suggesting that!

  8. So, I hope all 4 members of BIA in this video will be punished for this very obvious rigging. Ban them for a week and reset all their objectives so they can start from zero (Stug IV) again.

But SS is right, only a very low number of rigged battles will be recorded an made public, most rigging will not be noticed by the teams or will end up in 1 “Unpsortmanslike Conduct” ingame report what I don’t give a fuck.

  9. Silent, is there any chance that, your hint at your meeting with Yuri and the “changes” that you mentioned for WG EU, that this could change, for example, more strict banning, names getting published…?

  10. Rigging IM missions is a victimless crime (compared with rigged CW battles).
A few rigged battles don’t seem to be as bad as a thousand battles full of people trying to grind their missions while giving not a single fuck about just playing the game as it meant to be.

Envy is a sin and we should be just thankful there are fewer people fucking up the game with grinding the missions.

    • Victimless crime?
So when you are down 2 heavy tanks because they are rigging and shooting their teammates intentionally on the strongest armor, while they just pwn your team… that’s ok?

Are you one of the IM riggers perhaps, since you seem to be defening it? =)

      • I can see no difference between a rigger and a tomato except the rigger will do it only once. People grinding their mission are no help for their team, too.

It’s not like we lose countless matches all day because of riggers, instead, we lose countless matches thanks to tomatoes and people grinding their missions.

        • It depends on your point of view I suppose. As much as bad players annoy me sometimes, so long as they are actually trying I can live with it. On the other hand, I hate cheaters. I’d rather have a tomato on my team than a “good player” who thinks cheating is OK.

      • look at it that way – better to have 3 heavies on one side and 3 on the other busy with mission and not influencing the battle at all or 6 players playing solo for few days 150 battles not caring about team or wining but focused only on the mission?

Seriously, even before IM were introduced the percentage of bullshit battles, were team composition (meaning vehicles or players skill) stripped the battle from all enjoyment was rather high, 1 or even few more like that change nothing.

But IM rigging is not a victimless crime. If conditions for IMs were set badly they would may be changed. But if people will do the missions anyway by rigging, then stats will show they are doable and stupid conditions will stay.

Also we don’t know how much time we have to complete the missions. WG may decide they will shut everything down after some specfic number of players gets 260. The every rigger steals his tank from someone else.

But then again – if rigging starts to be massive activity, not rigging becomes stupid.

  11. I don’t think players rigging IM should be punished. They don’t disobey any laws. What if I am the last guy standing against another player and I ask him to give me some bounces so I can finish the mission. Should I be punished if he accepts?
What if I had an awesome battle and I am out of ammo and I ask the last guy standing to suicide so I can win the battle and he does it. Should either of us be punished for that?

I don’t think so, as long as you don’t break the rules you can abuse the system in any way you want. Stupid behavior on the battlefield occurs all the time, you may report a player for unfair gameplay but in the end if I want to fuck my team and drive the only top tier heavy backwards in to battle it is my choice.

  12. Individual missions are idiotic and people have every right to bend the rules and get them done.

  13. Working as intended.

Come on, you can’t be that naive to think WG didn’t know this was coming. They simply weighed the advertisability of these super cool tanks and missions (increased player numbers, profit) against the naturally occuring problems with them, then decided to go ahead and don’t give a damn about the fallout.

Like SS said, only about 5% of the playerbase knows and looks for this kind of rigging. In business terms that’s a neglectable minority.

  14. BTW i finished my damage recieved missions with quite a nice tactic. I drove a low tier bob against a wall with my KV220 and just let him shoot me for 5 minutes. Result was 12k blocked dmg and some 1k done. I imagine that can be done with IS7 or other tanks that immune to upper hits in higher tiers too.

      • Well, why not ? I would have killed him anyway, so why not use his fruitless attempts to my gain ?

      • I can look for it, dunno if i find it thou. Was on Himmelsdorf, i waited till my team got raped, then went out to kill everyone except a poor T3 Cruiser which i simply pushed against a wall. He emptied all his ammo on me i guess, leaving me With quite some nice dmg blocked :P

As i said before, use the right tanks to do the missions and they are pretty easy. Most people try to do the mission in tier 10, whereas its A LOT easier on low tiers.

Damage 3 enemies while moving ? Bitch please. Crusader and 1 minute into the battle i had it done.

        • I have done a lot of the “score X number of hits that do damage” and “Damage X number of tanks on the move” in my T-34 and Type T-34, combination of fast ROF and good pen FTW. One of the T28 MT missions is “score at least 9 hits that do damage”, secondary is “Get 2 kills”. I finished cleaning up the kitchen last night and thought, l’ll just have one more game before bed. Loaded up the Type T-34 and clicked battle, seven minutes later, mission complete, 16 damaging hits and two kills. If I had tried to do that in a higher tier tank with a slower reload (and at least somewhat better opponents) it wouldn’t have been nearly as easy.

Some missions require a high tier tank, for others going the lowest tier allowed is often the best choice.

        • The “Damage enemies while on the move” missions are hilariously easy. You can be right up next to someone and all you have to do is twitch and fire at the same time. If you don’t get those missions done on your first try you’re doing it wrong.

  15. well, these BIA noobs (and they have always been noobs..) will now have a hard time in random battles.

I had clan LCP (first rigging report) in a game last week and they got recognized immediately by several other players.

So yeah, I expect BIA to receive a LOT of hate now in random battles, which is GOOD :D

  16. Rigging the HT missions is stupid.
Arty and LT missions are way way way harder and they are so much more harder to rig. They should be punished anyway tho. But if you have mates to help you rig battles, then you probably have mates to help you win them fair so… pretty damn stupid to cheat

  17. Some IM missions need more RNG than playing arty, no wonder if players trying to rigging it.

  18. I can assume that it may be illegal in the EU to publish the names or even nicks of the players. However perma-banning them from the IMs sounds fair.

  19. inb4 tards from wotlabs come screaming “HURR DURR SS PROMOTES RIGGING!!!!!!!1111111111″

  20. There’s one thing that WG underestimated indeed – the usefulness of EU administration – which is apparently 0. Well, I wish the Russian style was applied on EU server as well :)

  21. > The solution would perhaps be to publish the names of players [...]

    There you go:

    ;)

I am one of the retards who’s trying to get the stuff via legal means and without being in a clan. So far I only got the StuG IV.

  22. Still do not see the reason for the uproar on this issue, the IM tanks are not limited are they? By doing this they are not affecting any other player (well no more than normal players trying to do missions are) somy view is “So what”.

One hundred percent agree with you on any rigging in competitions or where the rewards are limited.

Only thing I would do is flag these accounts for checking if they do in the future win competitions and check they did not rig them, effectively giving you a criminals database :) Just wondering when you are considered rigging because I have platooned up with mates(not 2 platoons like this but all on same side) with the only goal to get them a mission, is this rigging?

  23. I apologize for a comment in the Czech, but…

… to zas bude keců, že jsem tě na ty BIÁky nasměroval já (nenasměroval, už týden jsme spolu nemluvili). Ach jo…

  24. my last mission is HT15 to get t28 HTC. I am waiting for good battle because i did 10k 2 times before i unlocked the last missions. WG EU says me “dont wait go and rig a battle with your clanmates and enjoy it”

    Pathetic WG EU

  25. Frankly this game lost all appeal after the IM’s came in.

Would love to have a “Random Battle – no Missions” mode where only players with no active missions can play.

  26. SS the WG police strikes again…

Actually this rigging with the HT isn’t that bad for the team, but still stupid. Whats really retarded is a 3 man Badchat platoon suicide rushing to get a mission and die in the first minute of the battle, leaving your team severely handicapped… big FU to those sad sacks of diarrhea shit for wasting my spare free time.

  27. Honestly don’t care that much about this topic. They should focus on Warpack and Stealthz hack mod packs among others. Missions will settle down soon enough.

  28. Some of those mission are completely retarded and teach very very bad gameplay. This is a real problem.

  29. I was kind of disappointed when the third campaign farming case was closed because I was afraid that no one cares about VPA rigging shit anymore. I was wrong. VPA never let people down, they are involved in every scandal in WOT Asia.

On the other hand, I hope FTR can track WG Asia’s 2015 revenue. As far as I know, more than 50% of my friends who are paying player—-and they did pay loads of money——have stopped paying money or even playing this game. I’ve stopped playing this game since this year, and I can’t wait to see WG Asia is shut down and migrated to RU/NA server and turn these servers into WOT VN 3.0, as WOT Asia is already WOT VN 2.0

  30. We Vietnamese dont use gato as a slang for jelly. Havent logged in the forum for a while so this kinda surprised me =)) such an iconic clan of our vn community did these stuff. Shame.

    • The fact that you view that clan as iconic in your community pretty much says you condone their behavior. They have been pulling this stuff for a long time, it’s part of who they are.

  31. It’s amazing that no one care about how all of this behaviors and rigging came from!
as you said “…the change in gameplay style in randoms, occasional retarded behavior of a player, who wants to complete the mission at all costs and all that.”

You know why? because all of us want those tanks and that’s why no one ASK TO REMOVE IMs!
honestly talking about myself, these missions really destroyed my fun and gameplay.
And even if i want to ignore them and back to my normal style there are still 14 players that each may want to do their own mission so they screw the game so why i shouldn’t?

i think best solution is all ask remove the IM!
    meh who cares?!!! Storm?!

  32. Very POORLY edited video. seriously not in game format and blurry to hide pixilation of where they sliced n diced in the names.. get real kids, find something REAL to rage about instead of making up things..took me less then 10 minutes run it through video and enhance it enough to see where it was edited.. Poorly done and now your site has even worse reputation.. Ill be posting MY enhanced version for all to see how you slander for attention to your more then incorrect site.. like how for 12 patches u claimed kv nerf and split.. 13 months after first saying they were doing it next patch it got done.. your one man site truly fails… always has

  33. Lol rigging PMs? The whole game is rigged, let those guys enjoy their tanks. You are all simply jealous because you couldn’t do it… They’ve figured out how to manipulate the system, and for that they just deserve it.

  34. You know what? I don’t even care. As much as WG listens to player base they can give up a few pixel tanks for free if you ask me…

  35. Reporting them as “unsportsmanlike conduct” brought another thought to mind. What generally happens in sports when a player is caught “rigging” games? Often, they are banned from the game. I think that should be the case here. Ban them from the game….permanently. WG has to be strict on this matter.

  36. IM are shit. WG is not giving a fuck to WoT community. IM ruined random battles. Water is wet, sky is blue. Fuck WG!

  37. Why are you so angry about them? Because they ruining the game? What about the other 100.000 idiot who do it alone (ruining the game)?
Example: when the spotters just rush into the enemy base and die in the first 20 second, the heavies who are camping the whole game even when they are in top tier, the meds who don’t give a shit just stealing the frags, the arty who don’t shoot because he’s on a mission to shoot 2 or 3 target with one shell and waiting the whole game for a shot.
If you have good friends, good clan members of course you try to help to do eachothers quests.
In the last heavy mission at the T28HTC i was lucky, because the enemy was retard and shoot the Maus around 30 times without damage, but to do that i need my friends to protect my ass (none of them was in the enemy team).
You can say to these people they’re unsportsmanlike, but think of it if you have your friend in the enemy team and for example he need to kill you to finish her mission, but he’s on 30HP you are on 800HP you would kill him? I don’t think so…..

And it’s still just a GAME!

  38. Personal or Individual missions, by far, was the worst thing WG ever implemented. Even it’s name “individual” is against the whole point of the game of team work. There could of been a way to make these personal missions work, but no, WG lacks competence to make them work.

Nothing but bad has come from these missions. Only WG could find a way to take already broken pub matches and make them worse. The full retard I have seen goes far beyond anything ever done before these missions. PM’s before winning is what a lot of people do. Sadly, the ones doing it have decent stats and should know better.

I remember a time before PM’s where three arty on either side was rare. Now, 3 per side is normal and 5 per side can be seen a lot more often.

I don’t even step foot into a pub unless I’m platooning. I will usually be on team speak and when a clan member says there’s a strong hold, I will only then bother to log into the game.

In a way, WG accomplished people not playing solo in a pub. It’s no longer worth the bullshit you have to deal with now with these Personal Missions. This rigging just makes me laugh.

  39. Exclude any dmg from players you have ever platooned or been in a same clan with (in HT-15). It wouldn’t work in every case and it would add more randomness to completing the mission but at least it would require more complicated planning than with a group of friends.

  40. I don`t get the rage from you guys, they were in even numbers, so both teams lost same number of players, who did their own thing in their corner. So what that they are doing it for missions? I don`t give a flying fuck about them, I`m more concerned about some red retard in corner of map camping in top heavy and doing nothing. In my eyes those rigging guys just neutralize each other for battle, so it is not 15 vs 15, but 12v12 .. still balanced forces.
To me looks like some people can`t complete those missions for themselves and they are angry that some guys found a way to do it faster … shame on you. Random is random, there far worst things in there then 4-5 heavies from one clan dinging on each other.
