Armor (upper front plate now has two zones like the E-100 one, rear hull “door” disappeared from the hitzone):

AMX ELC

Armor (got buffed – UFP from 12 to 20, LFP from 14 to 25, turret from 14 to 20)

IS-4 (no details on armor for now)

    • I was hoping for the side skirts like they were presented in the Havok demo… but no. Still fingers crossed for some armour changes :P

    • I don’t think it will be hit that badly, as the UFP will probably get some sort of angle buff if the armor is nerfed, or something like that.

  4. Despite being quite happy that my IS-4 will finally be refreshed with a new coat of HD, I really hope there will be some extra buff to it too (even if it’s a small one)… Hopefully no nerfs to it :/

    • I remember there was a small hint that IS-4′s armor will be slightly buffed when it gets reworked to HD. I’d like it to be true ;) Back when it was tier 9 its UFP was better angled, more like the ST-1′s is now. The HD model doesn’t look like that though.

      • Aye, my hopes for a buff lie there. Nevertheless, I’m still glad that it’s finally going HD :p

      • 25mm at insane angles. It used to be easily penetrated by being overmatched by just about any gun. Now it takes much bigger calibers or it will ricochet a bunch of shots.
        Of course, most guns do have a sufficient caliber, but against the others it is a HUGE buff.

    • I nearly jizzed myself when I saw what my ELC will look like, even like an RC car it looks sexy

  12. Obviously IS-4 model is the best. It’s only normal they would spend more time on the russian tanks. Normal and annoying as hell, that is.

    I see the ELC got a serious armor buff. It may be able to receive only half dmg from some HE shells now, which is a big advantage.

  13. I still don’t get it , why does HD remodel have to come along with an armour change? That’s a re-design in that case.
    Is it a historical thing (lol) or just stats playing? They don’t need to change the actual vehicle statistics when they remodel them…so why do it anyway ?

    • and couldn’t have moved, due to the gun being so heavy, the entire tank would have tipped forward on it’s nose, Sean. Not to mention the Krokodil didn’t exist either, that’s the fantasies of a modern modeler.

      At least the JPE design is somewhat believable.

  17. The French tanks texture are bad (colour) it’s blue faded, there are lots of grey places and the French roundel is too bad compare irl.

  18. IS-4 a tier 9 that thinks it’s tier 10, sold mine, FU WG, ST-I is much better.

    FU WG for pissing on russian pride, IS-4 should be the most armored tank ever, nothing should pen it, NOTHING, you shitless, brainless devs.
