a few screenies from the 9.5 KTTS video. The individual mission selection screen – as you can see, the stages will unlock as you progress.

Here’s a screenie of the girl crew in the StuG. I really wonder about the voiceovers – while entertaining, I think that transvestite crews are not something WG is aiming for.

Oh and good eyes – not sure who picked it, but it was published on FTA VK page. Basically, they used the IT-76 or IT-45 model in the video. A short background – just like the Sentinel in the last KTTS/ASAP video, the IT is a very, very old model of a light Soviet tank destroyer, that was never used in the game (this is ancient stuff, like 3-4 years back). It was originally supposed to be an alternative light lowtier tank destroyer, but WG scrapped it back then and somehow, it never made it into the game. The vehicle itself was a Soviet wartime attempt to create something like a Hetzer – a cheap and small tank destroyer. It never entered mass production.

      • I’m sure they mean it in the sense of tabletop games where you have multiple fights/quests/missions that you play out over many sessions which take part within a larger campaign. Also military operations and such are usually called campaigns so..tonks being a “war” game and all.

      They are a decent idea that wont impact in the game in the slightest. Just more diversity.

      There will be some pro and some con whining to them… big deal.

            • Amazing. Just amazing logic. When I was 18 I started playing World of Warcraft and ended up rolling a female character, not because I was a fat neckbeard with a pervert streak but because a female voice/silhouette were much more soothing on my eyes and ears. At least that is what I believed but oh thank you for letting me know how I was a 30 year old fat desperate virgin back then for preferring to play a virtual female character. /FreakingSarcasmOFF

    • So simply ignore it, you can put just male crew in to your tanks and what sits in others players tanks you dont see anyway.

The guys (because I’m very damn sure any female players are pretty happy with this change.) that oppose or are crying about the new female crews, are just a bunch of emasculated scared whiners sitting and looking at this like “WHYYYYY!!! WG whyy you make me be around tough hard working women even in my gaming life!!!” :p
    I personally find it’s about damn time they did this, WoT is far from a realistic simulator anyways (It’s pretty much just an arcade). So the idea of having a babe pumping a shell in the rammer and another firing that shell out of the tank is actually pretty amusing and sexy :D My wife approves of these changes lol (Oh yeah P.S. out of jokes, this is very likely WG’s response to Armored Warfare’s ‘right of the bat’ female crews that they released some time ago.)

              Paint swastikas all over everything, put it online, send to SerB and sign it with your ingame name and server so you can get the picture.

  16. ss did you notice the KV-1 german tier 5 premium tank at 1:36 in the garage when they are looking at the Stug IV? the icon in the garage says Pz KV1 756 is this an old idea or is this new?
