Hello everyone,
a few days ago, I posted that Gaijin Entertainment (War Thunder developers) and experts from Kubinka managed to restore a broken old T-44 to its former glory. Well, here’s a video of the said machine in motion. It’s in Russian, but it has multiple subtitles, including (pay attention now, Wargaming) English, French, German and Czech (you don’t have to dub the video to English to release it for western audience as well, we can actually read, shockingly enough).
As I said before, I am not a huge fan of War Thunder, but this is something I can get behind. It’s always good to see more vehicles restored to their former glory.
wow…how did he get that mark of excellence so quick!!
And then we look towards wargaming, where they cancelled the MAUS project before it even got off the ground. With a much bigger budget, too, might I add
When they annonced Maus projekt it was good PR for WG..Even if they never will complete it.
if they would complete the project it would be a blast advertisement they would be able to update the game about track and gun sounds
they can record IS-7′s gun shot sound since it is 130mm it would work for most of the 128 mm canons at german side but nooooo people love firing sounds right now because they want hollywood action movies instead of games
T-44 looks cooler IRL than in game. WD Gaijin.
*takes off the hat*
You did good Gaijin, you did good.
I’m proud of you.
5:00 is proof of tank’s gun sounds no they never sound like a 3 story building HE explosion
WG bring back the new sounds plox
That was pyrotechnics, not real shooting.
I think thats just fireworks fitted inside the barrel.
It shot with a weak blank cartridge just for effect, the gun didn’t even has a recoil. A live ammunition is much louder, ofc not as loud and “unique” like in hollywood movies but deffinietly louder than a blank ammunition.
And don’t forget about the issue of camera microphones catching very loud sounds. Some audiophiles here could probably explain better and deeper.
userext lmao lol that was just some fireworks. Yes and the different cameras catch different sounds.
Offtopic but since this is a soviet med here, any updates regarding the USSR T54 med premium 1945?
Kinda waiting for it but all I am hearing is USSR heavy premium.
GJ Gaijin!
BTW what is that german tank at 5:02? Pz IV?
Panzer IV Ausführung G
.
Fantastic stuff – how awesome to see this lovely old girl move under her own power!
Why the hell we get elc hd model next, when T-44 would have been fantastic!
ELC more epic.
Elc looks better. T-44 would bring more butthurt about “why only ruski? Why not other countries?”
They did CZ ones especially for you, so you can praise them :P . No Siemka ones, sadly – apparently Siemkas can’t read…
