Translation of his rant by Dopingman:

They guy in the beginning is talking about the GC preperations, talking about the stuff they bring and that they want to party.

Translation of Serbs rant:

NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! Damn shit! How could this happen? I was killed in my MS-1 by a German tank *unintelligible stuff* NO! NO! NO! I was destroyed in my MS-1 by a German tank. Nerf all German tanks! Nerf all American tanks! NERF! THEM! ALL! What are you thinking?! I’m the *unintelligible jibber-jabber* NO! NO! NO! Those noobs! *audience clapping* NOOBS! NOOOOOBS!!! OUT!!!

    • and he speaks german fucking good. I know he can write in german but I think this is just rehearsed or he is realy good.

        • The way Serb responds to questions and treats the players, I never expected him to show some humor; even less to make fun of himself. – An unexpected side of WG most hated employee.

          And his German – even if rehearsed is surprisingly good. Ranting in a foreign language is hard.

          • The fact that a senior WG employee has regular Q&A with the community at all says a lot about the way the view their community.

            I mean, imagine EA hosting Q&A the way WarGaming does.

          • well, in “Soviet Russia”(c) German was quite a common foreign language in schools & universities. also, as he worked in science, i believe he got his high education in one of federal universities with “classical educational program”, so i bet he spend at least 7-9 years learning German. though i wonder where he practiced it since then to keep it from rust…

            p.s. s’ry for my “mad speaking skills”. English isn’t my native language.

  29. Your are missing one sentence after “…How could this happen?”, from what I can understand he said: “Was habt ihr euch dabei gedacht? translated he says: “What were you thinking?!” followed by “I was killed ….”.
    Also there is a cut in it at 0:36, because he said “Was habt ihr euch dabei gedacht” then you can hear it again but only the end “…dabei gedacht?!”.
    Must say he really is good at german.

  32. Its good they can make fun of Hitler and the German language how about he do a murderous stalin impersonation ordering German nerfs on massive scale and making IS series tanks more OP in Georgian or Russian, I wonder how funny would that be… and he can easily look like stalin.

    • The only reason that SerB could do this Downfall take off is because of the popularity and currency of the so called Downfall “parodies”. More people know the “parodies” than have ever seen the film. The “parodies” fucked up the potential market for anything like Downfall not because the production company made a loss but because the distributors, who make their money over time, will never pay for the rights to distribute anything like Downfall again.

      If there ever was the potential for any thing like Downfall to be done for any other war time leader, it is gone because of the Downfall “parodies”. At the same time the power of Downfall to shine a light into one of the vile parts of history is gone as well. Having chuckles on the internet, in subverting the message of Downfall and turned Hitler into a joke, has in effect in part redeemed Hitler. Imagine SerB doing this without the Downfall “parodies”. He would be out of his job and black listed for a Hitler like rant.

      To be pedantic the Downfall “parodies” are not technically parodies.

        Next year will be 10 years since movie was released – videos just keep coming :D

        • Yes and they have done a better job of watering down the effect of Downfall and diluting the anti fascist message than an army of right wing Nazi apologists could ever do.

  33. Well I’ve always liked SerB, because of his cynical sense of humour. And I also believe, that to be a good troll, one must be intelligent and have a good sense of humour.

    So I was right and have won the internet!

    • He’s the CEO of a company that makes a lot of money. Of course he’s intelligent… Good laugh.

      • He’s not CEO. Victor Kisliy is. SerB is the main producer and developer, together with Storm.

  42. ROFL, i don’t usually find Serb’s trolling quite funny, but this was hilarious. When i saw the topic i thought he was gonna rage on Russian, but when i heard German i lol’d hard xD He sounds a bit like Hitler when he made his speeches to the people :D
