Especially that T18, I think it was my very first match as Combat car when I had a streak of 4 kills and then I just got unexpectingly head on with T18, though I was full HP he pulverized me with his Howitzer :3

Seens this every night since they released the combat car with the exeption that i use a PzII and no T18.
Would have also been fitting, Combat Car spews his ammo on the PzII which looks bored and then rips him to pieces with his Flak gun.

IRL it could hit 56kph on tracks. Sadly WG does not do “Historical” yet.
according to the Chieftain, no it couldn’t. That was the design specification, but in reality, it was not controllable when going faster than the speed in the game.
That being said, it wouldn’t be the first tank in the game to get ideal stats based on design specs rather than actual performance.

What the suspension allows and what the engine horsepowers stretch to are not the same thing.
The speed limit isn’t the only limiting factor in it being a decent tank, though it is a big one. The turret traverse speed is also horrible, nearly as bad as a heavy tank. It’s probably hand-cranked in real life, but there’s absolutely no reason that WG couldn’t take a bit of artistic license and give it a useful boost.
And really, that goes for everything about the tank. It’s huge, taller than a Hellcat if I recall right. It has high ground pressure, so it feels more sluggish than it should. The gun is nearly useless against a large number of the tanks it faces, and has no APCR equivalent, so if your team has derped out and there’s tanks left you can’t pen, well, enjoy giving them free credits and exp. The armor is non-existent (except for against other T7s, amusingly). And as the cherry on top of the crap cake, it’s fairly blind despite its height, at 280m view range.
ANY of these could be improved and make the tank more viable. All it is right now is a big tier 1 tank that always gets into tier 2 battles.
Personally, I found the T7CC to be really amusing to ride. I had also quite luck if we talk about teams – the T18′s or other TD’s were hunting biggest threats (the Hotchkiss tanks are OP :P), letting the T7′s deal with other T7′s. Real teamplay.

Althought T18 drivers are always been bunch of cheaters. Whose idea was to give a tank 50mm armor with Stuarts chassic and speed in the first place! Good thing my Pz38t still gives no s### against TD’s. :P
T18 is supposed to be an armored SPG type tank armed with a short 75mm. IE like the T57. But it never worked out in trials very well. The added weight of the armor iirc caused performance to drop off too much so the whole idea was scrapped.
There was also the 37mm gun mounted iirc. Might be getting the T numbers a bit mixed up as there were many designs and sub designs.
Still, T18 is too powerful for Tier 2. That was my point.
I bought this t18 specially for this so I could get 24kills for mission fast.
Sometimes I feel bad for it, but I didn’t made this mission, so it’s not my fault (really!).
does the devs actually think the T18 is okay? I hope the 2014 year of balance will do some thing about the US tree!
I the meantime we could enjoy more of these videos :D
Having armor enough to bounce a good portion of the tanks it faces, speed and maneuverability similar to a medium, and a gun that can one-shot nearly everything it faces with reasonable accuracy and a short reload?

Amusingly, I did take a derp to the side once in my FT…it hit the spaced armor over the tracks, did absolutely nothing but annihilate my track. He then died in the hail of return fire, having lit himself up by firing. Must’ve raged so hard.
Moral of the story: when facing T18s, have an FT handy for cover, I guess.
Heah, killed Pershing with one of those in 7/42 :P . Still don’t know how i managed because i shouldn’g be able to pen him anywhere…
BTW, that crappy new yt comment thing – i’m outta there, cannot comment without swithing to new, so i won’t.
how to fix the T18: move it to the arty tree where it actually belongs and move the T57 to the TD tree where it actually belongs.

Take the T82 to tier 4 while you’re at it, the 105 howitzer is more than a tad bullshit in a tier 3 battle.
Great Idea, then we have T18s which could shoot over cover to hit the enemy with same armor is now.
And no one will play the T57
I sold my T7 CC after 1 battle. I got behind a T-18 and had 60 hits, all of them bounced. He got cool headed, I got 150k for a useless tank.
Ranzar’s videos are great and this one is exceptional funny – because almost everyone driving T7 for the first time ended up in cinders in front of a T18 :)
