Some of you might be interested in the fact that with the current weekend event, WG EU achieved a fail hattrick. First, there was no discount on E-25 (and now it is), then the new 8.9 TD’s were included even though this was not indended and now, they can’t even make the icons for them right. As a bonus, when you click the new TD names, you will not be redirected to the Wargaming site, but to Wotwiki. Sometimes I really wonder whether this is an intentional trolling or not.

- there are apparently no systematic plans to increase the overall skill of players in WoT

- machineguns on the top of the turret are not a part of the collision model, they can’t be hit and they do not count towards tank height when it comes to spotting (you can’t be spotted because a machinegun is sticking above the bush)
- SerB doesn’t know of any tanks with turrets without crewmembers, that would fit World of Tanks – there was the idea of Leopard prototype C (SS: Borgward), but it won’t be implemented
- some dive bombers (their modifications) like Ju-87 and Pe-2 will appear in WoWp
- some vehicles have machineguns on the top of the turret in order to be easier to recognize (at first glance)
- whether TD’s will or will not be nerfed is not connected to the fact whether Zlobny is or is not working in WG
- in connection with Zlobny leaving WG, there will be some changes in tank balance (SS: well, that didn’t take long)
- so far, WG has no candidate for a tier 8 premium British tank
- there will be no optional hulls for premium tanks
- SerB will not be rebalancing tanks personally “like in the old days” (he adds he never actually did that even before)

  5. Why dont they ask the community for a British tier 8 premium there are atleast a few options:

    Black Prince was supposed to trial a centurion turret but the program was scrapped before they could try, so there’s one black prince, cent turret 20lb gun.

    A45 – Heavier armour than cent 17lbr 32lbr gun, there’s another.

    Comres for med? A44? one of the prodigal tanks?

    The initial cent requirement was for 4 inches of frontal armour and a 17 or 37lbr gun try that.

    Hell if they want a clanwars tier 10 reward there was an idea to put the american t95/t96 turrets on the Chieftain hull.

    • Isn’t the A45 on a Conqueror chassis rather than Centurion? Which begs the question how it differs from the Caernarvon…

      • Nvm, googled it again. Suspension and skirts definitely make it more Centurion-like.

      • It’s a lengthened and widened centurion chassis, there is a single document in the Lancashire county archive (English Electric did their tank design and build at their loco factory in Preston (train buff)). That document says it should have ‘substantially’ more armour than the A41 and should include a 37lbr gun which I’ve been told is an early version of the 32lbr. Apparently English Electrics archive material is held by the Institution of Electrical Engineers and Technology in London, so there could be a bit more info on the A45 down there.

  11. Serb will blance tank? Hope he’ll give IS the 122mm M62 gun since there is a plan to re-armed IS series with that gun. Tiger I got the long 88 so why we don’t give the IS that M62 gun?

  19. SerB giving a vague asshole answer on zlobny leaving makes me think he is somehow responsible and not in a good way . Otherwise why not say like he got a better offer from a diff company or family reasons or whatever. Not Serb pushing him out because he is mate with owner and he didn’t agree with Zlobny who knew way more about the game than that asshole Serb ever would .

    This isn’t a troll answer? The game is far more balanced now than the past versions.

    • People who haven’t lived through the tier V KV-2 no tier limit era shouldn’t say that the game is “more imbalanced than ever”. People whine and whine and whine without realizing that we have progressed alot since beta. It’s far from perfect yet, but we’ve progressed.

    Of course not. And also no plans for a decent MM. A complete red team vs a complete green team is just so much more fun, you know, as an extra challenge for players that are doing well …
