They didn’t have to. You have to consider two things:
- Minsk and Paris are more often than not in conflict
- local business policies are set up by servers independently, that’s why for example US server has different “cannot sell” tanks than the EU one
Why exactly are they in conflict? Did EU Paris do something that angered WG Minsk? I mean, aside from daily dose of fuck-up of course.
I think it’s annoying enough that they need to pay those scrubs each month for a job they aren’t doing not even remotely good enough.

Compared with T-34-3, Type 59 has no character other than it isn’t outright terrible in any area. But dat Alpha can forgive lots of things. Same with 250pen HEAT and 40 rounds of hard carry potential.
T-34-3 alpha would have mattered if it can actually bring gun low enough to hit anything(and even then accuracy + terrible bloom on movement makes it iffy even at medium range).
Type 59 instead has a good APCR that is way better than 250mm pen HEAT.
if it came back, I still wouldn’t buy it. Probably expensive as fuck

Good read. Which ties in nicely with your “WG – promoting fake tanks” and “It’s a fake” articles. Now if they would only update the WoT wiki with some more correct disclaimers and historical info.
Plan on it as far as disclaimering/contradicting the “official” description. Good historical info takes good community support though. Remember, it’s a wiki, open and >user< editable. Us editors are there to (attempt) to keep things normal looking, not provide all the content.
All moot till the new wiki launches.
WG should unlock the type for play for everyone on the test server, just so people can get it out of their system and get over the type hype somewhat.
Otherwise, let existing type owners sell their types to other players with a hefty Commission for WG per sale. This would still keep the type population constant (played a bit more at start by new owners) and not flood the servers, and make money for WG.
