  1. It is important to say that it is a statistics for Commonwealth of independent states = Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan etc. Not for Europe, Japan, Korea, USA, Canada…

    • I’m yet to check out DotA2, I played LoL but the community there is a complete shithole. That’s the sole fact why LoL will never be #1

      • It’s a size issue. The bigger the community, the more cunts you have. One of the reasons the WT community is easier to live through is that it’s alot smaller. If WT was as big as WoT, the mouthbreathing idiots would be just as prevalent.

      • and wot community is just a great peaceful family … in wt amount of morons are high too people aren’t just regular noobs there also usually hunting for top players I mean friendliest shooting you down because you are doing great.

        • Dota 2 has one of the nicest gamer comunitys I’ve ever encountered (especialy US server). I’m not saying there is no flame, but if u compare it to WoT where most of ppl already flame before battle even begins… It’s basicly caused by that WoT is game made for idiots (fine, “casual” players), preferably idiots who can pay, when Dota 2 is game made mainly for e-sport.

          • I have not played this game in months, and only just got back to playing it a couple of days ago, the second I saw the “turn off battle chat” option I clicked it right away, I find the game much less stressful now.

Best update in the history of WoT for me.

  2. Warface is actually not bad…

Another clone of the usuals but done pretty well last time I played it…

    and IIRC.. another F2P model..

  3. 2 things.

    1. this is turnover, not net income. Wargaming is not exactly small anymore and not exactly cheap to run.. They wills till make a buttload of money but certainly not as much as this figure. Wild guess: about 25% of this will likely be net gains.

    2. Whre the hell is EVE online? There is a massive Russian community in EVE, I don’t think they all play for free?

    • it might look “massive” but EVE’s a niche at most, they’re nto enough to even be a blip on the radar and that game’s growth is null at best(that open economy sandbox full of trolls, traitors, backstabbing and more backstabbing on top is garbage, any WOT “clan drama” pales in comparison, but i digress)

  4. DOTA 2 15th? Yeah right, my games on EU west and EU east servers are full of suka warriors.

  5. Looks like it not fits to this data:

    Crossfire – 957 mln dol.
League of Legends – 624 mln dol.
Dungeon Fighter Online – 426 mln dol.
World of Tanks – 372 mln dol.
    Maplestory – 326 mln dol.
    Lineage – 257 mln dol.
World of Warcraft – 213 mln dol.
Star Wars: The Old Republic – 139 mln dol.
    Team Fortress 2 – 139 mln dol.
    Counter-Strike Online – 121 mln dol.

  6. hmmm fail thunder is a blip in the radar, but growing…
you know what’s missing?, world of failplanes in that piechart…, i do wonder how it stacks to fail thunder…

      • Are you kidding me ?

        WoT : >310 million

        WT : 15 million

        LoL : 13 million

That’s not far stronger, that’s a barely stronger, in the same “league” if you wish.

  7. 1:I’m neither a Wot nor a WT fanboy. I play both games but I realy want to show this to the WT fanboys who think, Gajin is going to “win” against Wargaming. Wargaming has become a very succesfull and big company and also there is no reason why these two can’t coexist.

2: Now that I’ve seen this, I demand more sales. It’s not like WG couldn’t afford it. :)

    • Based on this chart, WT is not even in the same league as WOT. It would be nice to know how big is the take from WOWp but I believe we must wait until 2015 to be able to compare a full year’s data.

    • I’d rather bang dark elven chick (like from lineage 2) than a tank…

Hmmm…. Banging dark elf in a tank? Sounds epic. :D

      • You’d bang your head on the copula and hers on the breech. Tanks are small on the inside.

        Unless it’s a TOG.

        • Banging dark elf in a tog? Yes, yes, yes, YES! :D

Anyway – just another stupid, random idea of mine: tog would make a one hell of awesome camper. Even top gear crew would like it. And they wouldn’t burn it that easily… :D

  8. And we can’t have nice things why? Wargaming you make enough money.

  9. GLORIOUS TANKS CRUSH PUNY ORCS AND ELVES WITH MIGHTY TRACKS! TANK IS IMMUNE TO PANSY GLITTER MAGIC USED BY PUNY BABY ORC AND ELF ARMY!

  10. This is INCOME, not popularity. This basicly shows which game is made by most greedy bastards. Not to mention Dota 2 has only cosmetics for $, I don’t know how is it with other games on this list but I doubt they have such high monetization level as WoT where you can buy basicly everything beside skill.

Anyways who cares about games popular in 3rd world country where most people still use Windows Xp and never heard about multi-core support.

    • Revenue =/= income.

And it matters an awful lot to people who actually, you know, *do business*. I’m sure it comes as a great shock to you that these things exist in order to turn a profit and not solely for your amusement.

      • That’s how Silent Stalker named entire post, get off me. And the main point stays the same.

        • And actually you are wrong. All these things exist in order to provide amusment for me and other players. That’s the entire point of this “business”, they provide service which is meant to be entertainment, if it isn’t there is no profit.

          • The entertainement industry *exists* to make a profit; amusing people is the *means* to that end.

You’re getting your carts and horses backwards.

        • *shrug* It’s no less incorrect for that. And you’re kind of contradicting yourself anyway – an F2P game would not get that kind of revenue unless it was rather popular, doubly so as there are very few things in it you can *only* get with money.

    • WOT exist to make money so the people who runs thwe company can live well. ALl organisations exists to make money even those who claim they work for “free” like the red cross.

      • Actually most governement organisations exist to *spend* money on diverse purposes; they’re funded by tax monies and what have you. Good thing too since for the most part there’s basically no way to deliver the services they do profitably, as we Finns have began noticing since the mail service was semi-privatised…
And you *really* don’t want a military run for profit.

  11. What is amazing to consider is that based on what was said on the WOT monetization video only 25% of Russian registered base is generating this amount.

  12. Just shows there isn’t very much to do in the CIS.

World of Warcraft was making much more than that in its second year
