    • Its because of the HBAO,

      Personally I disable AO is most games because it just look often bad and unnatural, especial on edges where shades are supposed to be (or not supposed to be)

      Also could probably be some sort of post effect filter, cause contrast and colors are quite out of whack to.

    • Serene coast: removed hill in south west, removed bushes trees from coast in south, flattened north base.
      Steppes: made the climb up to the rock not so steep so its more comfortable with low gun depression tanks to go up.

      Want more details, then look more carefully.

          All I said is here are the pictures (up there) and if you look at them and not just skim over them you should be able to notice the differences between the current maps and some difference in pictures.
          I just pointed at the differences, and said that if you do wish to see more detailed information about changes take a second (more careful) look at the pictures.

  1. Seems as if the user has overdone the MIP-Detaillevel settings e.g. via Rivatuner.

  2. To put it simple, it looks odd. Can’t describe why, but it definitely doesn’t look THAT good.

    • well, it looks weird for me as well. I actualy just started realizing, is the spreading of those trees realistic? i have never seen trees spread out so much.

      I mean, where i live you either have forrest or open fields, maybe a tree here or there, but thats it, not those many spread out in open fields.

    These changes are nice, but I dont like one thing – removal of tries! That makes empty map feeling for me. Better changed camouflage for tanks, thats my opinion.
