Hello everyone,
since it’s not on EU server yet: New experimental modre “Observer” will come to the training rooms with patch 9.2. Using it, you can watch the battle from the point of view of various players.
- the mode is available for now only in training battles
- you can follow the tanks yourself, switching between them, you will see both teams on your minimal when in this mode
- you will also be able to see pre-loaded logos of teams in this mode (SS: tournament thing I guess?)
One of the biggest frustrations for my clan commander was forming training rooms to prepare for CW because everyone was antsy and it was like trying to herd cats. This might almost convince him to try running them again.
It can be that way. The solutions to this are disipline , organization, and delegation (officers to help build the room, post the strats, tell guys to STFU, etc. The faster he gets his shit together the less time the guys have to sit there bored/ansey/whatever)
one guy cant do it all for a very long period of time.
Would be interesting if there was also the possibility for the observers to see only one of the two teams
How about a player’s view including the sniper mode?
yeah, that could be something to freshen the boting WG Events stream a little bit. Every major FPS game (which are on the same principals as WoT) has it and it adds much more action to the game. Would love to see that.
My question is if you ping the mini-map while you are the observer, does it show up for the rest of the players, does it show up for the team that you are watching or does it show up just for you and the other observers?
It only shows up for the team you’re in the lobby.
It should really only be for the other observers.
What about chat and voice coms? Can they still be used even when viewing both teams?

i dont quite think they would be able to use the chat , it would be cheating ( duh )
in the observer mode is free cam mode too what you can activate with pressing Caps lock + F3 and you can lock to some high from ground by pressing x and pressing p inertia is on
All the old commands still apply. You can see both teams at all times and if in locked cam can click through all tanks on both teas.
I would like to have possibility to switch some parameters: minimap clicking (1 team/both/rest observers), FOW on/off, predefined tier level and tier points cap, free cam (sniper mode included)
