- M56 Scorpion will most likely come out in 9.7
- M56 Scorpion will be a tier 7 TD without limited MM
- E-25 is too good for premium status, but it will not be nerfed, the only action taken is the removal from the shop, as this is considered to be the best compromise to fix the mistake WG made, in other words: “the best solution out of all the bad ones”
- T-35 in the game? “Why do you need it? I can’t wrap my head around that.”

And… that’s all for this year folks. Happy New Year and wishing you all the best in 2015. Let’s make it a blast :)

  1. “E-25 is too good for premium status”
SU-122-44 says HECK YEAH IN YOUR FACE

Seriously with corridor meta, AT15A is sooooo much better than E-25.

    FFS, stop locking out content.
Nerf and give ability for refund. Or change/rabalance and give refund.

This is the stupidest solution WG.

    • There is waaaaay too many E-25s around to refund anything, that would be a massive financial blow to WG.

        • Doesn’t cost them money directly, but one of their responsibilities is managing their game economies which means “Don’t overload your server with free gold”

    • It will be a massive blow?
      I dont think so.

Now its true people are whiny cretins and would rather not part with their stupid OP shit machine, but honestly, not many will do that.

Another way… why not just buff other TDs? T7 TDs are kinda bad anyway.

      • Because the tier 7 and 8 mediums aren’t very impressive (to say the least) either and couldn’t handle the powercreep. Tier 7 mediums are ”hilarious” in plenty tier 8 and all 9 games by average having them be hilarious in tier 7 games would be a bit too harsh even for wargaming standards.

    • No need to refund.

What % of paying players bought the E-25 *and* would be so butthurt over nerfs to balance the vehicle that they would refuse to spend any more on WoT *and* would actually follow through? IIRC there is nothing in the T&C that requires refunds or forbids stat changes to premium tanks, WG has only followed this as a guideline, and not consistently (Type 59?).

I’d wager that the gold loss would be more than compensated by all future sales of the E-25, so long as it isn’t nerfed into oblivion.

  3. Happy New Year everyone.

As for T-35,I’d really like to see it in WoT too. It’s an iconic tank and even though I think it would suck, like it does in WT,I would still like driving it from time to time :)
Loading HE on all guns could be fun though….

  4. How crazy are you guys to want the T-35?!?! Here lets just introduce the Tog II* while we wait for an answer.

  5. Want to bet when WG talk about the E25 being “too good” they mean its too good at making credits, not because its OP game wise.

  6. SS,why russians stopped using pike nose construction? Was that unefective construction?

    • Yes, actually. It increased complexity, edge effects (as in, decreased the penetration needed to go through the plate), and did not make much sense when composite armor came into the picture a few years later.

However, when the T-10 came out, it made a great case.

  7. - E-25 is too good for premium status, but it will not be nerfed, the only action taken is the removal from the shop, as this is considered to be the best compromise to fix the mistake WG made, in other words: “the best solution out of all the bad ones”

Fuck the guy who said it. Removal from the shop just fucked up the game for tier 5-7 because it was flooded with E-25s. It is OP and it needs some nerfs.

  8. The M56 Scorpion needs to be Tier6 for three main reasons:
    1. Without any armor, it has no business seeing Tier9 with a non-turreted 90mm gun.
    2. The US does not need two Tier7 Prem TDs (T28 Concept and M56)
    3. I want a good replacement for the nerfed Hellcat in Strongholds.

Just make it Tier6, give it the Hellcat’s gun, and adjust the HPs, done.

      • What makes it worse is that it looks like the traverse of the T28C is limited to +/- 25 rather than the designed +/- 90.

And I still want the M56 as they nerfted the FK out of my Hellcat’s mobility, especially in reverse. :(

        • Where do you get that it was designed to have +-90 traverse? The tank is basically a Wargaming invention. Seriously, there was only a brief mention of an initial design for the T95 given in one of Hunnicutts books. There were no technical specs, aside from the intended front armor thickness and the fact that it was to have HVSS suspension.

        • T28C looks pretty stronk on a corner, where you can hide all the weak points (besides the relatively small crew hatches).

      • I would love to… but since all that is available is drawings and a model, all I can guess is that it uses a stacked recoil mechanism and that the breach is close to the front of the mechanism.

  9. - T-35 in the game? “Why do you need it? I can’t wrap my head around that.”

They could ask same question before introducing The Panther 8.8…………..

  11. All WG need to do is make the turret operate like it would on a normal tank then add a keybind to operate it as a secondary weapon. It’s not rocket science.

Happy NY SS for 14 hours ago

  12. Merry Tanking new year to all of you around the globe from Québec in Canada ( the french part of Canada if you wonder ;) ) Thank you SS for all the good work and may 2015 be a good one for all of you !

And yet they leave the SU-122-44

I guess WG’s adamant in sticking to their rule that Germany isn’t allowed to have good premiums. Decent, yes, but not good.
