Hello everyone,
Russian Wargaming officialy confirmed that they will post new motion physics soon:
In case you are wondering what “soon” is – community contributor videomakers should recieve the “leaked” “exclusive” footage today (if they haven’t already) and post it tomorrow (or later today, not sure). Looking forward to it. As for the test, according to some leaks, it could come as early as tomorrow, although this is unconfirmed at this point. One thing is for sure however: instead of earlier announced two parallel tests (“realistic” physics and “simplified” physics), only the “realistic” option will be available at first, since the developers didn’t manage to make the “simplifications” work properly.
Anybody for a Maus drift battle tomorrow?
Hell yeah :D
I am even afraid to test vehicles like LTTB or Pz I C at all. Most probably in this “real physics” phase it will be impossible to drive simply forwards with those machines and they will tip over even on the smallest bumps.. ;)
ELC better do some Neo-like bullet dodging and Himmelsdorf drift.
But a drifting ELC would mean the physics are somewhat correct…
inb4 1/2 of the next EU random being 360 noscopes or some shit like that
I think next EU random will be absolute zero.
With running in the 90s playing in the background. I guarantee it, Because i will.
T95 MULTITRACK DRIFTING.
yes a milliontimes. multitrack drifting is something we need in this game
I really hope that the realistic physics work nice and gets implemented. The game is too arcadish now, some “realism” couldn’t hurt ;)
how many fails will contain the new motion physics?
In other news:
A tracked vehicle, according to the witnesses, T95 was spotted orbiting Earth.
And Maus seems to have crushed the US flag on the moon :o also TOG II dug its way all the way to Japan!
All of them! ;)
Who, where, how will we be able to test it? Just on the live server, or a special ‘physics’ server, or… how?
Will probably work like common test , or if you have played, the 8.0 physics test(only testing , none of the game features active)(which I doubt would go like that) , so expect a seperate client, where you’ll test the new physics in.
Ok, thanks.
They better do! I don’t like War Thunder, but their new video makes WoT look horribly outdated. Come on, War Thunder has a deformable terrain like Spin Tires, how cool is that!

Yes, and many of things are calculated client-to-client. Isnt that why ramming looks like fucking baloons colliding each other? :D
It looks amazing :D
Im looking forward to realistic physics.
I was hoping from the beginning that they will implement realistic physics to this game.
It makes it harder to play, but at the same time it gives you more tactical options.
When everything is more realistic skill really starts to matter. Those who will master their driving will really be able to outmaneuver noob-ish players. This isn’t RC race !
Also being able to climb more freely should seriously improve gameplay.
I can recall countless situations when i tried to attack or fall back and i got stuck because one of the tracks was sitting on higher uneven terrain (beginning of the hill slope and similar)
I can’t wait, woo!
Today: Hurray physics! :D
The day after: OMG physics! >:(
i bet 2500 gold we see that one!
