Wargaming invading Ukraine!

Hello everyone,

Ukrainian channel TSN reported an interesting piece of news. It’s about the Russian tanks invading, moving through Donetsk in order to support the separatists (I assume you have heard about the incident – the most likely version is that three T-64 tanks were looted/transferred to separatists from the Ukraine army depot, one got destroyed and the other heavily damaged in fighting). However, to show the incident, the Ukraine TV showed an interesting footage – skip to cca 1:00:

 

 

Yup, that’s a footage from a World of Tanks event. Oh noes, Wargaming is invading Ukraine! Naturally, the reactions are some funny shit…

(“Haha, SerB is sponsoring the “separatists” with tanks with gold ammo”, “I am waiting for the Ukraine to report that SerButler is entering Donbas on a Waffentrager”, “Yes, Russian tanks in Ukraine – straight from the Wargaming premium shop” etc…)

      • Yep, some part of video is in Syria, syrian tank operator talks about T 72 reliability and safety from long range hits. So there was mentioned that this part – from Syria. I dont see any problem with that.

        My english is not so good yet, hope you’ll understand what i’m saying

    • I don’t understand Ukrainian can you translate this video? They showed tanks in Ukraine and some close up videos of same model tank + tanks in combat (Syria) showing that they are not so outdated and are being used by other nations. Where do you see lack of reliability? Please explain.

    you actually can hear his voice talking about the tanks (t-72′s) in an event organized by WG for “day of victory”

    and some footage has been taken from Syria

    anyway ukrainian news is just a joke
    they are killing imaginary “terrorists” in east of ukraine supported by imaginary WG\Russian tanks

    what makes me angry that there some ppl who believe that s**t…

    • I agree! Last week german news (Tagesschau) showed a shot down helo form syria and told the viewers that it was an ukrainian helo getting shot down by the seperatists.
      I am by no means “pro putin/russia” but this is blatant propaganda. No real unbiased news.

    • There is nothing imaginary about people getting killed and there was nothing imaginary about the numerous footage of heavily and modernly armed UUMs (Unidentified Uniformed Men) storming police headquarters and various other government buildings.

      Current conflict in Ukraine is created by and sustained by Moscow just as the Syrian conflict was created and sustained by Washington. I am sorry you got caught up as a chesspeace in their game…

        be it german media as lumpy87 said
        or ukraine , russia , usa or syria media
        is not filtered enough and contain much more lies , propaganda and fabrication
        which some viewers fall for that part

        i agree partly but not fully about that phrase
        if u consider this is a ok place to debate and u are ready to be open minded and and try to make an informative discussion about ukraine
        we can do it
        personally i am interested in other people opinion

      • basically about russian tanks in donetsk (east ukrainian region ) then some information about t-72
        them some numbers of destroyed machines

        Unfortunately i can not do a translation of it, i do not know Ukrainian enough for it. What i do make out of it though is that they are talking about the tanks that they claim came from Russia and up to minute 1 they show the footage of theses. After Min 1 they explain what kind of tanks those are and show random footage of these and they explain the footage as taken in Russia (WG tanks) archiwal pics (the black and white) and the footage in Syria is also explained as Syrian tanks.

        In short, pre minute 1, tanks shown in eastern Ukraine and explained as such, after minute 1 archiwal footage shown from other locations and explained as such.

        Small edit, i see there are some more picks jumbled after min 2 but it seems pretty clear where the pciks are coming from

    They are using russian weapons,mercenaries and vehicles against people who are just doing their job – defend their motherland. There you are photos of captured vehicle with logo of russian army base and technical certificate with russian stamp on it. Look on the date on it ..its NEW!

  13. OMG, SS, have you tried to actually watch the video before reposting that bullshit? The footage with Russian tanks is there to demonstrate that Russia has active T-72 in service and it’s clearly said that it filmed on one of the Russian training grounds during some Victory Day activities.

  14. Yep that’s three T-64BV captured by “separatists”. But as always Ukraine propaganda elevate them to “Russian T-72″. Ukraine mass media is pathetic…

  15. All confusion is due to TV does not indicate what they are showing.
    Like they talk about “tanks” and in background they show “any video” that has tanks: started with T64/T72(?) footage captured from balcony (indeed from UA), then tank with WoT markings (I bet from RU), then some old black/white footage from 70s, then some footage from Syria.
    For all who do not understand context it would look like [WoT, Syria] tanks are in fact right now in Ukraine :D

    • For all who does not understand what is spoken that is. After i looked a bit carefully and listened to what they said it was clear that most of the footage is not from Ukraine.

      I remember the day that The RF went into Georgia. I was at a vacation in Crimea then, the footage and the tone of what i saw in the pub television (Russian newsreel) looked and sounded like the third world war had started because i did not understand what was beeing said. The situation only became clear to me a few days later after i returned home.

    Are you fucking kidding me?

    From 1:00 in video talks about history of this tank and another information about it. TSN used this video – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gArsx0m5yTs In this video talks about this tank, but not about russian incursion. And TSN said, that this video is from russian training range (WG event on Victory Day).
    Also some part of video is in Syria, syrian tank operator talks about T-72′s reliability and safety from long range hits.

    Don’t be like russian zombie. Please listen also. If you don’t understand ukrainian language. please don’t post something like that

    P.S. I’m not too good in english, but I think you understand what I want to say.
