  2. - E-75 might be buffed a bit for test 2 of 8.8 in order to compensate for the loss of the 1200hp engine

    After seeing how terribly they climbed hills now – yes please :/

    • yeah in 8.8 test 1 he’s 1km/h slower at climbing hills than on live server -> nerfed to death :P

    • To be honest I think E75 is prity good on Test Server. The Hull travers buff is awsome i hope it will make it to live server as it is. Regarding the hill climb, well yes loosing 300hp has to be seen somwhere. I can live with that with the max alowed speed increased it ca nget to places faster du to that.

      There is 2 thing wich in my oppinion needs to be changed.
      - dont think this will ever be buffed but the RoF could be buffed to 4 or 4.1
      - But the bigest weaknes as i feel it is the horible turet turn rate 18 degree.. this realy need to be buft to 20-21. It is such a pain agains meds and even turning on to a new target.

      • Maus has 4.03 rof. It would be also unfair for VK 45.02 P aufs B that is now worse than E-75, and will get little nerf in 8.8 (10m of vision range) without any buffs.

      • The traverse buff isn’t “awesome”. What you gained on the listed stats on the tracks was lost with the engine HP reduction.

        What happened to the E-75 is that it can go faster downhill or given enough space on good level terrain, it turns the same speed, and it accelerates and climbs hills much slower.

        Capital city of Poland was totally destroyed, but it’s also nothing, it was rebuilded so no problem mate!

        After the end of war Poland was a Disneyland, especially durning events in June 1956 ( Poznan ), December 1970 ( Gdynia, Danzig, Stettin, Elbling ), or 1981-1983 ( Martial law ).

            • Because going in half-assed without the necessary logistical buildup would have been SUCH a brilliant idea… just ask the Italians who tried it repeatedly. (Or why the Germans spent the winter twiddling their thumbs and stockpiling munitions.)

              Plus not their fault the Poles opted, despite explicit recommendations to the contrary, for a defensive strategy that pretty much minimised chances of success and the time they could hold on.

            • Not in the least because they were mainly sitting on their asses too. As a matter of fact both the French and Germans had to demobilise parts of their armies in order to keep armaments production up to the needed levels.

              Breaking news: the logistical stockpiles needed for major military operations don’t appear out of thin air overnight.

France and Great Britain did nothing though (despite official Franco-Polish convention, where France was obliged to start offensive within 14 days from the day of mobilisation) because they were still hoping for peace. They betrayed Poland, just like they betrayed Czechoslovakia in Munich.

    • Well somebody should tell that idiot commie that the Communist regime was installed in Romania (which was indeed a far-right winged country during WW2) after RIGGED ELECTIONS.

      Due to those rigged elections from 1947, we had to suffer 42 years of communism. While Ceausescu redeemed it a bit by forgoing the Stalinist type of communism (and, to give credit where credit is due, Ceausescu DID built the country up, but that’s basically due to an authoritarian/totalitarian regime; Hitler basically did the same thing in Germany prior to WW2).

      Also, the 2nd echelon of communist politicians (and their younger counterparts) have been fucking up our country FUBAR-style for the past 23 years.

      SO, maybe it shouldn’t come as such a big shock and surprise that there’s quite a few of us with a sharp tooth against communism.

      P.S.: I would tolerate the “Stalinist” inscriptions if Wehrmacht ones (not nazi/SS) were added as well, like “Gott mit Uns” or, I don’t know, “Fur die Reich” or something similar. You know, just to respect historical authenticity.

    Well, 1 degree is a possible mistake one could make in manufacturing.

    • I would not be surprised if it was bigger then just 1 degree. Overall even with jigs Tanks are more or less hand built machines. And even though every country did try, to an extent, to make them all the same its just like making a gun. You have tolerances and try to stay between them so that the guy in the field does not have to do a lot of work to make a replacement part fit.

    I wish they’d add some fundamental functionality to the UI sooner, like being able to invite somebody with a right click on his name, instead going through this tiny drop down menu, the ability to PM people without befriending them, a Depot and a Store where not everything is hidden in huge scroll down menus, the ability to resize various windows, separate chat for events and messages in Tank Companies menu and a zillion other features which deprive WoT of rudimentary ease of use.

      • I’ve had similar issues myself. And while I might be able to excuse bad in game optimization, if even the godamn UI is slow, then something must be done. There’s really no excuse for a slow UI.

        I wish WG stopped introducing so many new tanks in every patch and allocate those saved money to some UI optimization and design. If anything it’s imperative that the medium of communication between the player and the game does its damn job without being a hindrance to the player’s game experience.

          • It still works on 0.8.8 CT 1…simply install it (without scripts folder and gunconstraints) and rename the flash folder to scaleform. In the flash folder are the new AS3 files but client isn’t using them xD

        • You know that throwing money at a programming issue doesn’t make it go away, right? It still takes time and effort by the coders to get it to work, and with it currently in test, that means that they are working actively at it, and we can see the results, instead of waiting for patch day, to see if anything they did was added.

      It was planned for tier9, already modeled and then declined, instead of throwing teh tank to the garbage bin they actually added, no1 is forcing u to get it.

      BTW do you expect obj 430 to be a unique hover tank with 85mm 3s reload gun, or something just as unique? I think u’ll be dissapoint.

    • To be honest with all that trolling going on, and not only in this particular news bit it’s way too difficult to read follow up comments or have proper conversation going on. Too much spam and very nasty as well.

      Having the comments available only to registered users won’t change that. Someone will call him/herself “Anonymous” or “Troll” and carry on spamming. The only solution would be moderation of comments but I remember SS saying he is against that.

    • The Type 62 change was a mistake. The current “change” is nothing but reverting to what was before the Chinese tree proper came online.

      • Why would it have to be only nerfs? It could have it’s engine and lower front plate adjusted but also top speed increased as well as ground resistance and turning speed improved.

    Alright SerB, you’ve lost me here. I can see that the turret is, for the most part, better armored, but the hull definitely isn’t.

    T-54 – 120mm@60°= 209mm eff. glacis
    Obj.140 – 100mm@61°= 179mm eff. mid glacis (100mm@65°= 200mm eff. upper glacis)
    (Assuming 5° normalization)

    The upper portion of the glacis on the 140 is nice, I can imagine it getting a weird bounce now and then, but I still wouldn’t say that it is better than the T-54 armor wise.

      • It’s rather hard to make a proper tree for a game like this for only tanks an not include prototypes or designs of tanks. You’d end up with massive holes.

        For planes, there are MANY more aircraft designs out there, so it’s easier to make much larger trees without any prototypes or “paper” planes.

        Wait until Gaijin makes their tanks, then we shall see if they want development continuity in their trees or historical “battled-only” tanks.

  47. Speaking of the Jagdtiger does anybody now if the Jagdtigers LFP in the game is correct? The entire hull seems to be totally different from the Tiger II? Ofcourse i could be completely wrong but i would like to have someone with knowledge answer this so i can let it go. In the garage when you switch from Tiger II to JT or JT88 you can see the LFP is quite larger and the UFP seems to be different.

        5) With 10k gold already, people buy again another 2000 gold and get something like T34

        WG has made people unwillingly buy 4000 gold to compensate for all these changes. WG is dirty and happy, players are screwed.

        Obviously people are not “forced” to buy the gold, they can settle for an UP tank, but considering player’s psychology, I’m pretty sure this will happen.

    WoT make use of history, but Stalin, Hitler… they was both war criminals. All we know what they did. Using their names in slogan, well it can be rly abusive. Why dnt use something neutral. Is not a problem if somebody want and can help a lot making community more neighbourly. Game about war/military can be funny but shoud stay only game.

  105. Stalin was greatest motherfucker ever, allmost all polish people of the time when he lived wished him dead, he murdered milions of polish people he attacked our back when germans started war. By the order of stalin many polish officers were killed in Katyń. SerB know that I will not pay any money on WoT when i see something like “for the stalin” on any tank. And I will go to War Thunder probably…

  112. SerB is communist or what? I heard some time ago WoT Dev Team deleted flag of the rising sun, because Koreans were not happy about this flag. Now when there is same problem with pro communist and pro stalinist phrases they are all like: It’s ok. Stalin was a cool dude!
    Stalin was even worse than Hitler! Yup, Hitler started WW2, killed may people, but Stalin killed even more! What said Khrushchev in his famous lecture/speech? He said Stalin is evil bastard, murderer and he killed many Russians. Pro communist/stalinist phrases are same like pro nazi phrases. SerB is retarded communist that apparently know nothing about history!
    Ahhh and about butthurt… I think SerB is getting it, because someone don’t like Stalin (and obviously is Stalin’s b**ch).

  116. Yeah I am from Poland. We dont have problems with those quotes on tanks. We have problems with only communist quotes allowed. Why not allow hitler quotes ot japanese naval flag witch was banned due to complains (rising sun bandera)? I never complained about anything ingame or on forum but if u consider me butthurt than FU Wargaming and goodbay I am going to play War Thunder They at least show respect to players.

Like i can udnerstand that if something is good ppls gone pay for it but in this times is so hard to keep on with competition. Im not paying attention on wot ever but i do pay attention on ppls who disrespect others and with all do respect u WG do. Dont expect pany polish players happy about your moves. We still trying to fix Stalin work here in our home after 50 years his death. Dont expect Gj WarGaming u make market better and show how company should move things around.
