- there was never a real “Porsche Jagdtiger”, the only thing that historically existed was the “classic” Jagdtiger with a Porsche suspension (SS: that was not built on Tiger P hull, the hull was the same as that of the regular Jagdtiger)
- IS-3 optional hulls are apparently not sure yet, but most likely there will be two hulls: the regular one (like now) and the earlier prototype one without the pike nose
- gun stabilization (SS: less rocking of the aim reticle during movement) will not increase when the independent suspension is implemented, according to SerB it is sufficient even now
- there is already the basic technical framework for serverside replays in existence, but Storm states there is still a lot left to do
- it’s possible Stalingrad map will appear in WoT
- Havoc: “when it’s done it’s done, I can’t give you any date”
- it’s possible there will be new tier 7 or 8 premium Soviet tanks
- the profitability of premium vehicles that have it better than JT88 (SS: third from above) will remain the same
- there is not yet a definitive answer about how exactly will the TD gameplay change in the future
- the render range will change from (current) square with a 1000 meter side to a circle of 700m radius

    I heard from Daigensui it would happen sometime in 2014. I don’t personally have the FV4202, but there’s been a fair amount of clamoring to buff it along with the Patton.

      • Yeah they will apparently add some more conditions (other than getting medals) for achieving CR.

    • It took us like what, 2 years, to get a reload timer? I guess that WG feels implementing some basic UI improvement isn’t that important.

    • TBH though, is it REALLY that needed of a feature?
      I’ve been playing way since 2009 and…honestly – i don’t really need it anymore, since they removed the crap that always pointed out 132%-stats on the modules.
      New players that don’t know – won’t notice.
      New players that know – have knowledge of WHAT the equipment does, hence, they know that over half of the equipment out there is utter crap
      Old players…well…it does matter how skilled you are (as in, mounting a rammer on a t50-2 was crap and all), but in most cases they already know what to add to maximize the performance with their play-style.

  3. Whats important to note about the profitability of the JT88 and the KV5 is that their ammunition doesn’t cost very much (i think less than 300cr for AP of either) and they have pref. MM. So that helps alot.

    • Ammo and repairs on Type are cheap as fudge, too. Is it in that top three? If not, what is?

    • Also helps that JT88 has amazing DPM, otherwise good gun characteristics and great armor.

    The only obscure variant is a rear-casemate proposal which never got any serious thought behind due to production and maintenance complications.

    What exactly are the current conditions (besides losing)?

    • Get a battle hero award or an epic medal(halonen/Radley/Burda/Passuchi’s.
      SerB is agains including the Sniper award for courageous resistance(which is~1/4th of current ~resistances from my observations) claiming that it is too easy.

      • The idea behind courageous resistance is to reward players who fought well even when the odds were stacked against them. So the general idea is good, but it’s really hard to identify someone who fought well just by stats. They went for the medals but i don’t think that’s a good idea.
        You can just bounce 10 shots with a pea shooter at the end of the game and get rewarded, while the slow firing KV-2 that did 3000 damage and 5 kills but missed some shots or just couldn’t fire 10 shells doesn’t get anything.
        I think something like top-xp with a minimum xp threshold would be better, but it’s hard to find a system that’s fair for everyone.

        • If you award it to top in exp or damage you risk rewarding the guy who sat at the back not really helping then farmed damage when everyone else was dead.

          So neither option is perfect.

          And TBH I’m against awarding losers as if they won anyway.

          • I can see the point made by Homer, but I am still in support of CR in many cases, specially when you get Top Guns and what not but lose because of a crappy team. CR lets you get Ace Tankers in loss games as well, and there is nothing wrong with that.

            I recently had a Tier 8 game in my M6 (tier 6 Heavy) where I killed 5 tanks, did over 3.5k damage and lost the game. No CR as I didn’t get a medal, and no Ace tanker either (still stuck with 1st class Mastery on M6).

            And I know, Ace Tanker is not that big a deal for most, but better to have it than not in my opinion lol.

          • And TBH I’m sick of people putting everyone on the losing team into the same potato windowlicki… ups, sorry, TRACKPAD users category, who make it impossible for the team to win.
            If a player carries his team to the hilt and loses against overwhelming odds, why on Earth should he be PUNISHED even more by the fact that the game cuts in half the much harder won xp he has accumulated, as he is in the current conditions??
            I guess you want all the teams to be filled with scrubs who just sit and enjoy being carried, and then label all the guys who had the misfortune of getting 14 bots/tomatoes/noobs on their team as losers? Bitch please.

      • That’s because it IS too easy, because it rewards how many times you hit the target, when it SHOULD, imho, reward somebody for scoring a hit on a target at a range further than anyone else in the battle, not counting SPGs.

          • I don’t think The vbaddict list is the one referred to by WG, but otherwise its a decent list to check general profitability of all tanks in game. The vbaddict list dynamic and changes over time, as I have seen Type at 22k average profit as well, and on 2nd or even 3rd position behind JT88, then again regaining top spot.

            Overall, the Tier 8 premiums have their profitability majorly nerfed since a few patches ago. My Type did 4k damage the other day for 103k (on premium acc) total income, whereas such dmg would get you 150k+ in the olden days. Anyway, credits aren’t a real problem in the game at the moment, but does reduce the premiums to crew trainers or fun Gold spam vehicles (without losing credits).

    Why all this bullshit about TDs started? TDs(some of them and by some of them i mean high tier ones) are OP and should be nerfed, other than that they are perfectly fine. Maybe instead of nerfing TDs to shit they should make more tutorials for those tomatoes QQing about TDs so maybe just maybe one day they will learn to play and quit bitching.

    This will be great and with 700m circle there would be only small parts of maps where you couldn’t see tanks and that’s only on biggest maps in game….on other maps it would be possible to shoot accross the whole map almost all the time.

    • until the tier 9 all td’s are balanced (well for the old ones at least) the new lines dont know
      tier 10′s got a bit carried away with ridiculous guns like the 17cm and the 183mm guns
      also the tomatoes are so large in numbers sadly that it is just impossible to make them understand some shit about the game
      this also means that WG never actually has explained in details and simple words about it’s current gameplay system such as spoting, scouting, camoflage, soft statistics and stuff like that
      you must search them yourself in youtube and other sources
      also soft stats are not easily found in game

        • Tier 10 TDs are the only ones needing re-balance for the most part. They need a slight Hit point Nerf as well so they don’t have similar HP to heavies, which is not the case up to Tier 9s where TDs have far less (for the most part) hit points (specially till tier 8) than heavies and equal to or less than mediums.

          Index – JPE100 may not be OP per se, but huge alpha canons have the tendency of promoting Tomato gameplay which doesn’t win games, or make the TD OP in winrate, but ruins games. Its similar to the KV1s problem, where a tomato can ruin your game cause of the huge Alpha, even if he dies after shooting even once. I mean getting shot for over 50% of HP in single shot is no fun at any tier, specially when playing Heavies which are meant to take a beating (mostly) and try and spearhead an assault.

          • That’s the whole point of nerfing the low-alpha TX 850-guns. A gun with 850 alpha can cut you for more than 1k hp.
            That’s what is OP. I won’t be surprised if the don’t touch the heavy guns (183 and Jg100) at all, since they are relatively PLAYABLE. Nerfing them will make them completely unplayable, with jg100 being one of the worst out there.

      • The famous case of T34 transformation into premium is the only reason i am seriously thinking about buying FV. With no intention of playing it on tier 10, painful test server experience was already enough.

    • I hope they make it a t8 premium and find something else to put at tier 10.
      Storm said himself the fv4202 is grossly overbuffed and would more likely fit at tier 8.

    • They already have the new armor statistics from Bovington the challenger together with another player went there to open the turret and measure the turret armor. Because WG didnt bother to have the turret opened they just made up armor stats. Typical WG BS!. So bias towards the russian tanks when in real life they were crap! Anyway they should bring the turret armor up to 2 hundred in places like the turret ring and near the gun. Maybe a speed buff too but not sure about that.

      • If they use the Bovington visit info, then we might get a gun nerf too, which would mos def put the FV into premium t8 material category, as the machine never had a 105mm…

        And as much as I’d love to get a new tank and the FV relegated to T8, I seriously doubt they will do that once again… But, with that said, you did put a bug in my ear… Got enough credits to gamble 3m on that :D

      • Just because the one in bogington had the 85 doesnt mean that was it. A lot of information around the internet say the same thing that tank was a test platform for modules used on the chieftain for all we know they might have even tried the chieftain turret on that. Who on earth cares anyway WOT so is so far from being historically accurate half the tanks never even existed look at the fv215 heavy that never existed it was only designed to have the 183 and be a td. They just keep keep hte 1o5 on the fv 42 butff the turret armor speed and reload time.

    • No. It had around 140m max shooting range (or even 40), and despite big caliber shell was light and without much explosives. This would be the shittest vehicle ever.

      • Everything can be judged only after you know it’s counterparts. Would be a really nice tier 3 premium tank with that armour…
        Just Joking above, but you can’t state things like that when you know nothing about the form it would arive in game. Amx 40 would be a nice strudy tank if it didn’t have a scout’s MM.

      • It’s MAX range was a lot further. But its actual effective range at which it could hit what it aimed at was very very short much like the Sturmtiger.

        • You bumbling bafoons do realise the AVRE is pointless in the game. It was given to REME regiments as carpet layers and close combat vehicles
          It just would never EVER fit!

    • Stock hulls – an easy way to make grinding worse. And worse grinding is more free exp used=more money for WG.
      Sorry, but in a debate plyers vs. earnings players don’t seem to win too often.

      • sometimes the hull might be alternative instead of “stock” or “top”
        take example from T-54:
        T-54 hull = more armor (120mm), more weight, less mobility
        T-55 hull = more armor (100mm), less weight, more mobility

    Every patch 2 or 3 russian tanks getting buffed or rebalanced yet the fv only one tank in the entire game has never had anything done. Perhaps this is one of the reasons WOT is going downhill WG never listens to the players the people who are actually paying to make everything possible. War tHUNDER and gaijin always listen much more professional company thats why sadly they are better.

    • LOL – WTE100 is one of the worst troll Tier 10 TDs out there, but luckly vulnerable once spotted (has 0 camo), so increase in view range can also be a boon to others as much as it can help WTE100.
