as you might have noticed, the Operation Super Pershing is up on the EU server. Where on earth is the portal announcement???

Conditions as announced earlier:

- 75k XP for each nation – reward: Super Pershing and 14 days of prem
- must be in top 10 of the team in XP
- tier 4-8 regular tank (no premium)

  1. You forgot under conditions “Tier IV-VIII stadard vehicle” – so XP from premium tanks doesn’t get you anywhere. Still a breeze compared to IS6-mission

    • Personally, I’m just surprised that the mission is so unpopular on the NA server; they are all bitching about the chance to get a free 56$ tank.

      Me, I already have tanks from six of the nations, started on Japan today…I’m working for that 100k and 12 thousand free gold. The best part is, my T34 was free, I have had it since it was a tier nine heavy.

      • How is it free? Why people don’t value their time so much… You will spend a week playing this game to get 56$ tank. If you would spend the same time working IRL you would buy 5 of these no problem.

        • Maybe because they want to play anyway or like the incentive to play more.

          • That’s fine but as soon as you start playing a tank you don’t want to or a battle you don’t want to then it stops being free.

            It wouldn’t take much for it to cost more to get a free SP than to buy one. Especially if you are the oft stated target audience of a hard working dad who unwinds with a couple of battles a day.

            I’d be out of pocket after 3 battles.

            Not that I’m complaining, if other people want to be suckered into playing more than they would then good for them. I do wonder how many will actually bore themselves of WoT in the process which isn’t good for the game long term.

            • Sure :) I considered even the IS-6 event too expensive (after all premium tank comes from half-day of work, and thats for the “poor”-salaries in the country I am from). And the usual “dad who unwinds with a couple of battles a day” will surely pay the price instead of earning it by grind.
              On the other hand, there are people with free time on their hands and it would be very unbalanced if the tank was given out for the same amount of effort or less. It would be unbalanced even if it was easy for casual gamer, the tank would be given out to almost everyone that way. WG wants to keep people playing more and keep the tanks more or less rare forcing people to think about buying one for real money.

              After all, everything is about balance.

              p.s. I like to play almost all mid-tier tanks so am I working for the tank if I decide to go for it ? picking from more tiers ensures I can find the one I like playing and can push some line that way too

        • Exactly. This thing is only free if your time is worthless. Or if you are unemployed and spend all day playing tonks anyway.

        • It’s free when I’m playing a game already playing and tanks that I’ve already got.

          Only the Japanese and British trees will require me to run anything more than just my daily doubles.

          Considering that tanks is pretty much my exclusive video game entertainment these days, the 2-3 hours a day it’ll take to get this isn’t really a chore.

          I guess not having any kids to worry about helps.

    • Please note the 24 hour timeframe on the completions. If it is all nations in one day, it is impossible at best.
      If it is just one nation a day, it’s still not that easy.
      The cheap garage slots and missions for them are good, though.

      • I dunno if it’s the same, but I think we have the same description in ASIA.
        It says: “Missions available for completion per 24 hours: 1 in vehicles of certain nationalities.

        I was afraid they were going to reset the exp earned every 24hours, but they didnt here. I’m *assuming* the same for you guys. Can’t say for sure tho, since we can use tierXs.
        I mean… 75k exp in one nation in 24hours? That’s how many hours of grinding one country? (rhetorical)

        • That sounds more like you can’t finish all of them in one day. Still a bit weird, though, probably some mission setting they didn’t want to override specifically for this mission.

          • i read it as you can’t do the mission in the same country twice in 24hours (150k exp/24h) which is nigh impossible unless you’re gonna play one country all day or bot.
            pretty weird, but i hope its that way for all of us

  2. Correct me if I’m wrong but… the description suggests that 75k should be earned over 24h. It’s like the description for other missions when they reset every 24h to allow you to do them over and over.

    I hope I’m wrong with this one though. Other way it’ll be nowhere near a breeze if we are to earn 75k exp over 24h for each nation because all the progress will be reseted on a daily basis. Still doable but…

  4. As Mr Spoon noticed – it’s 75k xp per 24 hours, so it’s either a time drainer or credit drainer – assuming 2x battle for 1,5k xp, you would need 50 vehicles to get it done in one day.
    For nations with a lot of vehicles it’s barely possible, assuming someone has a shitload of silver to burn, but what in case of Japan tanks?

    • I bet it’s a mistake that will be corrected. Would have surprised me if we got through this one without a EU office fail, not mentioning the standard late announcement :D

      • 75k exp in a month is easy, 2-3 vehicles and daily doubles.
        75k exp in a day is something that WG made me used to, in case of EU server – the server of shittiest events of all WoT servers.

  5. Unless it’s a 75k with one nation over 24h and mission is done as it unlocks you Stage 2 (which is just ”get the reward” mission)… Would be too easy but on the other hand there are no separate counters for every nation (like it was with IS6 mission).

    • Yeah, i was wondering about that too… that would be “too” easy (75k in one day is still no piece of cake). I won’t believe it until there’s a post by WG though.

      • They integrated the counters for each nation into one mission, i think

  8. I don’t even have any Chinese or Japanese tanks and I don’t think I can be bothered starting any new lines. (Still clearing my backlog of unelited tanks.)
    I would have to grind to tier 4 and then start xp grinding.
    No thanks. I don’t have the time. It’s going to be hard enough doing this campaign.

  10. This mission is so weird, everyone is reporting problems with it.
    And for me it only tells me to get the 75K XP in French and Russian tanks, not of any other nation.

    • Iit only gives you the progress bar on nations from tanks you have played so far and which fit the no-prem tanks only tier 4-8, only top 10 xp conditions.

      • But I do have both American and German tanks in those categories.
        It makes no sense.

    • Because you havn’t started it yet in any other mission. The progress bar appears for each nation once you have done one round in an eligible tank and fulfilled the conditions (top10)

  11. T 34 Mission on the US server. Better tank but need 100K XP from each nation, otherwise the same.

  12. This thing is gonna be extremely time expensive:
    75k exp * 6 nations = 450 k exp
    At an average of 450 exp per battle, this means you have to play 1k battles in one month, around 33 battles a day, around 240 minutes, or if you want 4 hours a day.

    Good luck with that.

      • My average experience earned in the last 4 weeks is around 550 exp/battle, so this include doubles, tanks I play best, tanks I play worst, etc.
        I’m no tomato, but I’m not an unicum, just a slightly-better-than-average player according to WN8, so I’d say my calculations apply quite well to most part of the playerbase.

        • If you have 550 average exp per battle, you may struggle to be top 10 in every battle too.

    • that’s the calculation that I’ve got… still think it’s a waste of time for the super pershing…

      • i have done mu IS-6 mission in 12 days this is 175k xp less so give or take i will be done in 8-9 days :P

      • DAMN! I forgot Japan! Thank you. Well, even in this case, thanks to the approximations I’ve made in the previous calculations, the result should still be around 4 hours a day.

    • 75k * 7 = 525k experience

      I’ll be more pessimistic and say 300 average per game (because losses). That’s 1750 games.

      If you only play for doubles on two tanks a nation, though, you can get to 600 (and more) average easily. That’s 875 games.

      And don’t forget premium counts as well. So you get to 580 games. That’s 19 games a day, about two hours. Far more manageable~

      Also inb4 some people have it done within this week, because it’s a fairly easy mission.

      • 300 average? even bots are getting more average player without premium is doing 500

    • It’s 7 nations not 6 ;-) (China, France, UK, Germany, USA, USSR, Japan) so you need to correct your calculation as it adds up to 525xp in total :-)

      • As I said above, like half an hour before your comment, thankd to the approximations the result doesn’t change considerably. Still, take those numbers with a grain of salt.

  14. by my calculations if you use only tier V or VI tanks of each nation -> that’s about 3 hours per day playing WoT and that’s if you can earn at least 1300-1500exp per battle (that is if you’re lucky)… all that for a tank that has been nerfed beyond repair? no thanks…

  15. lol, fuss over getting to tier 4 for xp grind from folks all over many forums.Tier 4 takes under an hour to open, really not that big a burden. Day counter is a bit odd after 75k, Maybe 2 premium days repeatable after SP part finished for psychos ;)?
    Nice bonus tbh, SOOO much easier than IS-6 mission.
    7200 gold back handy, (esp as £5 sms gold went wrong on my PayG phone and the fuckers wont fix it without a contract bill PayG phones don’t have. Sigh. Good excuse to not give them any cash for months in reply.

  16. btw have you noticed the mission below stage 2 — make 100 battles in all modes be in top 10 by xp and win 1 slot it can be made 5 times :P so 500 battles for 5 slots and you need around 525 battles if you take 1k xp per battle :P so you get Super Persh+slot for him 14 days prem acc and additional 5 slots :P so not to bad

  17. A single 2k XP double per nation a day (tier 8 easiest) is almost mission accomplished and that ignores however many x3 weekends etc there are, AND is not bothering to use single/multiple tanks in tier 4,5,6,or 7 for no sane reason. Really not effort.

  21. I did the IS-6 event as I had all 6 nation tanks back then, but it was quite boring and felt like a really bad type of grinding. It’s no fun when you have to play games regardless of your situation. I got the IS-6…but IF you are going to do this one…well you’d need a lot of patience, unlike me.

  25. What’s with the stupid top 10 rule lately in all events ? Exp is exp no matter what place in team .

    • that rule is against bots and people playing like shit(fast death–>next game) and go to the next tank to play..

  26. Get premium and shave 33% off of 525k :D
    I have SupPershing therefore all this mission is 7350g for me [7200g+150g (slot)]. Get gold and buy some other tank like E25.
    Tempting, but playing EACH day ¬35 battles, i.e. 4.5hours is too much…
    If I would get premium I could reduce this time to 3 hours/day all 25days in row – this still it too much..

    • Yep, Panzerscoout is right, because google doesnt translate “не”, which means not.

      So google gives u “Premium-Tanks count”, whiel it acutally says “Premium Tanks do NOT count”.

      Never trust google. ;)
      However its still kinda weird. EU isn’*t allowed to play highter than T8 and cant use premium vehicles, whilst SEA Server is allowed playing up to T10 and use premium tanks.
      Nevermind. I’ll get ma Super-Pershing. :)

    • My thoughts… Fucking hell… WG gives a T8 premium tank (even if its shit) basically for free and ppl still moan. Unbelievable.

      If you ppl dont want to do the mission(s) then dont do the mission, but please for fucks sake just shut the fuck up and move on.

    you dont pay for that with money, you pay with your life.
    i promised myself after the t2 light mission ill never grind shit in this game, doesnt worth the frustration.

  35. Why a fucking Super Pershing? That tank is not a great tank at all… Also we are on EU, if NA server gets the T34 (a heavy American tank), maybe we should get a european heavy tank? Like the FCM 50t? or Lowe? Not the POS Super Pershing, regardless its not worth the 75K XP per nation grind maybe if u already have the tank but to get the tank for grinding really is not worth the effort…

  37. Why whining about chance to get T8 premium? It’s not like you are forced to complete it. If you want a tank then play and stfu. If you don’t want it then just ignore the mission and play how much you want and whenever you want.

    playing china/japan is a torture for me, not fun… I’m not gonna suffer while playing video games… I’d gladly do any other nation twice though …

  39. I think I’m gonna quit this event already. Idiots, idiots and one more time, idiots. Made something like 15k exp but the rage I get….its just not worth it. It would be fine if I enjoyed it, but rageing the entire month for a crap shit tank that I can buy after 1 day of work is just stupid…..
