Not much today. But the supertesters will recieve new tier 8 Soviet MT premium (T-54 First Model aka T-54 Model 1945), so it’s not all that bad.

- a shell always counts as a “point” – some player insists that when touching the ground, a shell turns into an “object” because it “touches” the ground, but this is not true (SS: there is one situation where it’s completely possible to fire and have the shell explode on the ground instead – when you have low terrain settings, some pieces of terrain are simply not displayed, which leads to strange shell explosions. Developers suggest not using lowest terrain settings unless absolutely necessery)
- module weight is a balance parameter (SS: here, the dev completely avoided or misunderstood the question, so – just letting you know, no point in dwelling on why engine X weighs half as much as engine Y or something)
- developers are still experimenting with tank viewrange nerf
- in 9.6, old light tanks will very likely be rebalanced (buffed), specifically their firepower apparently (SS: it’s not clear, but I think they mean accuracy on the move)
- Blitz replays will be incompatible with PC version (SS: duhhh… yes, people ask such stuff)

Yes! My Auf(Whatever)-Panther will be even better! Or may be the VK2801 will be fun again.

    • Don’t get your hopes up… awfulpanther is awful isn’t (just) because lack of firepower

      • No It’s actually really fun. Watch some QB’s Stream and god what have I seen! And it’s actually quite funny to ram some BCs to death XD

          • IF the Aufklärungspanzer Panther carried the long L/100 from normal Panther it could be even called OP (and i would look hilarius). This tank is nice, but it is lacking something after new lights were introduced because it had the highest dpm from all VII tier light and now…

        • Agree, they just drive fat.panther like other lt. Play fat.panther like small and fast med/sniper will make it fun to play. And dont forget that konish gun have very high dpm, 2k3 dpm without equip, just 100% crew

            • I cant say much about super-op-m41, but lttb have shit gun depression, so imo, afk still better than lttb on firepower and gun handler.

    • The Aufkl Panther is mediocre at best, it’s got good handling, speed and decent firepower for a light but it fails as a scout due to it’s large size. Ramming is viable but it’s not gonna win you the match.

Fortunately I’ll be finishing the research for Ru-251 today, and can say goodbye to the awful once and for all.

point? it doesnt make sense because point is 1D but the game is 3D. how can an 1D object be exist in 3D game?

  3. One question, hopefully sm1 can answer me

    Remember this video ? – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOVUOUltEdw

So my question is – did the lights kept this amazing terrain passability or it was just like that on the test server ? I cant find any info about this and I dont seem to recall seeing a light climbing hills lately. I dont have any new LT’s (only researched WZ-132 but well, its an “old” light tank) and I cant check it by myself

  4. “Blitz replays will be incompatible with PC version (SS: duhhh… yes, people ask such stuff)”
    How about BlueStacks?

  5. I really dont get why they are still clowning around with light tanks – Imo lights should have normal MM, same power level as same tier and missing armor compensated with camo, mobility and slightly better viewrange… Right now light tanks Are OP with decent players but WG balance after retards… Just see T37 tanks in tier 6 battles and tier 8 lights in tier 8 battles – Way too powerfull cannons

    • Just a nitpick: LTs don’t get normal MM, their minimum and maximum Battle Tier is 1 higher than that of same-tier tanks. Thus, for example, T37, a T6 LT, gets into T7, T8 and T9 battles, while a T6 not-LT gets into T6, T7 and T8 battles.

Another thing: T37 can get a game where it’s top tier, but that is essentially a T7 battle without any T7 vehicles. Very, very rare, but possible. And OF COURSE a T37 is going to be OP in a battle like this, it’s bloody supposed to be!.

  6. Blitz replays will be incompatible with PC version (SS: duhhh… yes, people ask such stuff)

That’s because the PC version haven’t Blitz map textures.

  7. For me, the scouts that don’t have reasonable guns just aren’t fun to play. Yeah, hooning around in an MT25 is fun, until you actually have to kill something. 59-16, I’m looking at you too.

As to the Auf….Panzer Panther … well, it’s usable because the gun is decent, but it’s a struggle. I HAVE had some really good games in it (doing 1300 points of damage to a BatChat as he tried to run away from me after shooting his 5 rounds was hilarious), but it’s often maddening. In a lot of games, there just isn’t a way to have fun with it.

These days, I spend most of my games enjoying the American tier 6 and 7 scouts. Those are FUN. I’ll have the RU251 soon too. I think it’s going to be a good one.

      • Fun factors in this game when you are playing ALONE (for LTs):
        1) shooting enemy tanks
        2) zigzagging around the enemy and then shooting enemy tanks
Based on this, scouts must have acceptable guns (this implies that LTs become less armored/more mobile MTs.

HOWEVER if you are in stronk plutoon one more factor can be added (FOR ME):
        3) spotting the shit out of the enemy, allowing your plutoonmates to unleash death on the enemy. …Because you can rely MORE on your plutoonmates…

        Conclusion:
scouts can be fun without OK guns but then you need “friends” (trusthworthy tomatoes in the worst case)…

        • The scouts really don’t have trouble with their cannons – they have trouble getting pitched against bigger enemies than they can handle on their own… Just give them normal MM and balance accordingly

  8. I will buy t-54 when it comes out…and when discounts hit the store, and when i see if its worth it, and when i see how will the rebalancing of it go (nerfing), and … maby i wont buy it.

  9. “- in 9.6, old light tanks will very likely be rebalanced (buffed), specifically their firepower apparently (SS: it’s not clear, but I think they mean accuracy on the move)”

    Gib, gib, gib!

  10. - in 9.6, old light tanks will very likely be rebalanced (buffed), specifically their firepower apparently (SS: it’s not clear, but I think they mean accuracy on the move)

sorry but who is going to scout in that way…
almost every single player with a light tank will be using it to kill/damage while we need eyes…
In my opinion we need more 59-16 like tanks: small, fast, good radio and NO good gun. just good enough to take out arty

    • “While we need eyes”
Not with the deforestation and the introduction of TDs with 400 meters view range and +
I play my light tanks like mediums except maybe on campinovka or prokohrovka.

    • ”Old Light-tanks”
      So that would be

      (59-16), WZ-131
      (MT-25), AMX 13 75
      (Amx 12t) Amx 13 90, WZ 132
      (T21), T71

I can see buffs being a good idea for the WZ tanks, but the amx 13′s 90 doesn’t need that much love. the AMX 13 75 is unreliable but can be broken very easily so they have to be careful. the T71 is honestly fine as far as I know, the bulldog is just OP compared to everything on it’s tier.

      • I agree with pretty much everything you said except for the 13 75 bit. If the only thing WG is planning on buffing the accuracy, wouldn’t it still be outclassed by the T71? The T71 would still have the edge in mobility, pen and damage, plus the ability to use a V-Stabilizer.
