- missions screen bugs will be fixed in 8.9
- no plans for an archievement for destroying 4-5 TD’s (like it is with arty)
- greater tank rendering range is possible, but very expensive (development-wise), it’s planned, but not anytime soon
- there will be turrents flying off the destroyed tanks during ammo rack explosions, it’s possible there will be other effects during ammorack explosion, such as secondary explosions, but apparently such an explosion will not do splash damage to tanks in its vincinity
- SerB states that the number of really bad players has not increased lately
- the Achievement garage tab will be improved in 0.8.9 apparently, but only a few player suggestion were taken into account, most weren’t
- SerB states that 10,5cm KwK 45 and 105mm mle.57 (D.1504) is the same gun as the L7

        • I think they are talking about the 10,5cm KwK45 L/52 (K) of E-50M and 10,5cm KwK45 L/52 (B) of E-50.

        • he was talking about the 10.5cm KwK 45 L/52 Ausf K undoubtedly, which is 390 damage, the same as the L7. The 105mm mle 57 is also 390 damage

        • The 10.5cm KwK 45 being referred to here the Ausf. K, which the E 50M mounts and has 390 avg damage.

          The 105 mm mle.57 on the Bat chat has the same 390 avg damage.

          • I wonder what the gun’s name on the AMX-30 will be if it gets released. They said the 105mm of the BC was the same gun as used on the AMX-30, but in fact the AMX-30s maingun is called ’105mm Modèle F1′ not mle.XY

            • Well IIRC the real batchat used a 90mm series whereas the lorr40t actually had the 100mm listed. In reality the Lorraine 40t was competing with the AMX 50 for the medium tank position, while the char Batignolles-Châtillon was a private venture competing with the AMX 13 and EBR for the light reconnaisance role. The near doubling of weight was justified by the upgunning to 90mm (90mm’s on recon vehicles wouldn’t be implemented until the 60′s). So the 105mm is really just something WG threw in, could be based on the F1, who knows.

      • Lol, so for WG the regular T28 is more “fake” than Proto which is completely made up by WG, while T28 is made based on T28/T95 tank irl. They really have no fucking clue what are they talking.

        • T28 Proto comes from an early concept drawing (a “napkin tank” as it were); in-game T28 is a pure Ass Pull AFAIK. Yeah, there’s a difference.

          • At least T28 has some “background”. they just splited the early version of a tank(T28) and latter when they have added the another pair od tracks(T95) while Proto is pure fictional tank. Eventough it had some blueprints sort of, it’s completely made up model by WG. They just took the name of it as T28 Prototype. Only thing they changed on T28 is the lower frontal hull. So i would still say that T28 much more “realistic” model than Proto

      • But…but…i like the wooden mockup concept model of the T28 Prototype better… :( Bummer. If you’ve ever seen that concept model, its an absolutely awesome looking tank.

          T28 is a rubbish tank anyway so I wouldn’t mind if it gets replaced.

    • There were plans to mount the L/43, but it was realized that it wasn’t practical.

      • The konisch, or Waffe 0725, was fitted to a Pz III Ausf L and a Pz IV Ausf F for testing purposes. When the decision was made not to continue with the konisch guns due to lack of tungsten, they didn’t continue with the testing or mounting on more tanks.

    • Someone asked whether WoT will have a permanent swear filter in RU too, SerB replied that only if they absolutely have to.

      • I’m still having issues with the swear filter on the NA servers. It censors alot (some may not even be swears) despite my not having the swear filter even on in the first place.

    • Actually, I’m expecting good armour on the 430. I believe the 430 is what later became the 432, which is the T-64 (obviously we won’t ever get the T-64 due to the whole no-smoothbore clause) but I’d gladly take a tank with similar armour with a shittier gun.

    • WG probably doesnt want players to leech exp/credits/gold from their teammates by having a bot sign them up and then do nothing.

      • The autopilot is the only thing in WoWP that makes me enjoy myself.
        If your team sucks and dies quickly gather the remaining enemies on your tail, run into the end of the map… whoops autopilot and a lot of crashes.

        Maybe you die, maybe you don’t, but atleast you just used the system to kill a lot of enemies.

      • Yes that one, pesky thing about similarly numbered tanks is remembering which is which.

        I’d just like to see some variety weapons wise in top tier mediums, because for all their differences they all have pretty similar guns which is slightly annoying, something to mix it up a bit would be a welcome change, but I guess that’s too much work for them balance wise.

  14. Does the unified clans mean that if you are in a WoT clan you automatically will be in the same WoWP clan? If so that is probably the most stupid thing ever. Most good WoT players are horrible pilots.

    Then why did he have to do it on the NA server…or were people just not bothering to turn the swear filter off? The funny thing is that everyone ELSE is filtered, by what I type isn’t.

    What I would see happening is the T28 being moved up to tier 9 with the T95 as a researchable hull option obtained by upgrading the suspension. The reason is that the T28 and T95 were literally one and the same vehicle, the T95 being a modification of the T28 to better-distribute its weight.

    Yet they’re still treated as separate guns.

    • The T28 and T95 were literally the same vehicle with no differences *at all* besides the on-off indexing change (which was a barrel of unusually pointless lolwuts). The closest you’d get would be having the former with the outer track units detached, which would make for some pretty awful ground pressure I guess…

    You will be able to change your server as often as you want to?
    Would really like to buy a Preorder Tank on RU server that way ^^

    …..6 crew members? Well…that seems impractical. :/ Considering that the only American Tank Destroyer that has 6 members are the T30 [i scanned through all the TDs and only found that one, if there are more, i apologize for my research]……but i’m just saying, it seems weird and would require moving one additional crew member unnecessarily into the premium TD just to get your crew trained for the tank you were using.

    How about giving us a Premium TD that has a FIVE man crew, and if someone is using the T30, well, then i guess they can just swap out Loaders every other battle. Seems like they’d go for something compatible with the majority of the branch, but………ya know…………WG logic.
