as you might have noticed, Wargaming EU took some steps in the right direction this week. First, what I really like is the Operation Bagration special – historical specials are a good thing :)

Another good thing are the Bovington packages. There are three and they are not cheap (two 50 EUR ones and one 35 EUR), but the good thing is, the entire proceeds go for the Bovington museum tank restoration and that’s a worthy thing. If you feel like buying some gold anyway, might do it as well now.

There are three things I would like to point out about.

First: the LeFH artillery is – as far as arties go – quite overpowered, because it was the ONLY artillery (well, maybe along with the premium Sexton, but there I am not sure) not to be influenced by the massive artillery nerf from last year and as such, it is currently pretty overpowered (statistics and characteristics can be viewed here):

If you are thinking of buying it, yea, it’s a good purchase.

thanks to Otakubouzu and Tanitha for this one. You might have noticed that there is quite a number of AFKers in the T-62A soccer mode, farming XP. Tanitha from ASIA server confirmed, that there will be changes to remedy the situation:

- for quite some time, the developers have been testing Ensk with explosive objects (railway wagons, “red barrels”)
- developers have been also reworking Malinovka, they are not satisfied about it
- Malinovka will be changed within a patch or two

just talked to Lonigus, who explained a few things to me, since I got really confused about the entire thing with streamers and in this case, I do feel an apology is in order.

I would like to apologize to player Embrionicjourney aka VirginSlayr of, well, mistaking him for someone else (apparently, he uses the nick QQBaby, which I mistook for Quickybaby). Earlier today, I made a post about his Virginslayr account, that is… peculiar in a way (it has one single tier 10 tank in open stats) and my post might have been interpreted as an accusation of the said player not getting his stats legitimately. Here, you can see how the stats look on his account:

Lonigus corrected me in this – this alt is absolutely legit, he gained the free XP for this tank by playing team battles. It is a Wargaming issue that public profiles do not show the statistics gained in team battles. I made a mistake and I am sorry for it. In the future, I will be aware of this matter.

Hello everyone,

around Christmas this year (and a bit later on), I made a series of posts on not-so-public tanks, such as the MTLS-1G14, Panzer IV Hydro, T-44-85 and A-32.

Because I got my hands on a press account once again (thanks to the same person for high quality screenshots), allow me to continue this series with one more piece – the Grosstraktor.

First and foremost, you can’t get this tank in the game – yet. It is one of those tanks, that were introduced some time ago (the model is not yet made in HD quality) and it is just not sure yet, when and how will the players be able to get them. It was speculated that given the recent Wargaming policy changes about the premium tanks (basically, lowtier tanks are awarded, not sold – either for clanwars, or during events), it’s going to be some sort of anniversary gift or something, but who knows? I don’t. The last piece of info was from like two months ago and said the tank would come, but nothing more than that.

Hello everyone,

Ukrainian channel TSN reported an interesting piece of news. It’s about the Russian tanks invading, moving through Donetsk in order to support the separatists (I assume you have heard about the incident – the most likely version is that three T-64 tanks were looted/transferred to separatists from the Ukraine army depot, one got destroyed and the other heavily damaged in fighting). However, to show the incident, the Ukraine TV showed an interesting footage – skip to cca 1:00:

Yup, that’s a footage from a World of Tanks event. Oh noes, Wargaming is invading Ukraine! Naturally, the reactions are some funny shit…

(“Haha, SerB is sponsoring the “separatists” with tanks with gold ammo”, “I am waiting for the Ukraine to report that SerButler is entering Donbas on a Waffentrager”, “Yes, Russian tanks in Ukraine – straight from the Wargaming premium shop” etc…)
