WG RU banning XVM?

an interesting post came up on WG RU forums. Here is an official list of banned mods for RU forums. Recently, a thick red line got added to the end of the file:
It says: “It is prohibited to use the function ‘noobmeter’ (statistics and combat coefficients of a player) in any XVM mod configuration and to post screenshots and videos with it”
This line was deleted later on and was replaced by the following, that is there until today:
Запрещено публикование ссылок на xvm-full (он же “оленемер”) во всех разделах и подразделах.
“It is forbidden to post links to xvm-full (that is “noobmeter”) in all sections and subsections (of the forum).

VOSS I and VOSS II (Škoda Selbstfahrlafetten)

today, we are going to talk about two Czechoslovak wartime projects by Škoda. Both were offered to the German army.
VOSS I
The full name of this project was “Selbstfahrlafette 7,5 PAK (Škoda)”, but it was also referred to as VOSS I, in “honor” of the installed German CEO of wartime Škoda (Skoda-Werke), Dr.Wilhelm Voss. It was developed in 1941 (the drawing is dated August 1941 specifically) as an anti-tank gun on the Škoda suspension from the T-21/22/23M tank (it is unclear, which suspension was used), likely after being asked directly by Wehrmacht (in order for them to offer this design as a cheap alternative to German tank destroyers to Germany’s allies). Drawings and a small wooden mock-up were made, but the project got cancelled later on for unknown reasons.
Bot Creator talks about Bots

last night, I recieved an interesting e-mail about my older post about bots – from noone else than the CEO of the company, developing the Tankleader bot. The e-mail was signed with a full name, including e-mail and telephone number. No, I haven’t tried calling the gentleman, but it looks pretty legit. Either way, here is an excerpt of the letter, I think you will find it interesting like I did. The name was withheld for obvious reasons. I kept the original typos, the English is a bit flawed, but the man is from Germany. The “bold” marking is made by me.

- regarding the question above, the gold shell SerB had in mind was the 3UBK4 HEAT shell, that in the game has 330mm penetration, while in real life it had over 400mm, this type of shell could have been used in regular D-10T/D-10S guns, but it won’t be implemented to lower tiers (SS: for obvious – balance – reasons)
- current situation in Kiev influences negatively the development of WoWp and WoT Generals

Regarding the Veteran Tanker Charity
Hello everyone,
lately, a few people were asking, how did the veteran tanker charity end up. I am pleased to say, it ended up amazingly well.
The final sum collected was 168.000,- CZK (cca 6133 EUR) and on 20.1.2014, this sum was transferred to the account of Československá Obec Legionářská (ČSLO), Czechoslovak veteran organization. As I wrote before, I took part in one of the meetings with the ČSLO representatives, who were quite cordial and extremely surprised, how much money was actually collected (really quite high for Czech and Slovak republics). It was agreed upon to
- split the sum to more people than just one or two
- not to simply give money to the veterans, but rather gifts they need (medical bed, TV and such) in order to avoid issues with “greedy relatives” misusing the money and such stuff
This organization took time, but finally, yesterday, the representatives went to visit first two veterans to arrange everything. Along with them came Clearevil (yes, THAT Clearevil the moderator), one of the organizers of the event, to physically witness everything and to thank the veterans personally. Sadly, the event’s mood was a bit tainted by the fact that on Wednesday evening, one of the few remaining Czechoslovak RAF pilots, who served in Battle of Brittain, Brigadier-General (ret.) Miroslav Štandera, passed away. Also, sadly, in these two months it took to organize the entire thing, the list of potential candidates from the ranks of WW2 tankers also grew smaller by one…

Hello, I’m the guy who made the original Reddit post, could I bother you to include a couple notes about the data, specifically the unreliability of the results for tiers 1-3? The result sets were so small for those tiers that I probably shouldn’t have included them in the graph in the first place, but I didn’t think about that until it was too late. Tier 1, for example, is only a few hundred matches. Basically just a couple bullets to answer some of the questions I see popping up in your comment feed.
1) Result sets for tiers 1-3 insufficiently large to draw sound conclusions from.
2) France has no tier 1 because no results for confrontation were uploaded to VBAddict.
