- Storm on fixing longer waiting times on RU server: “It is now needed to trace (SS: as in ‘pin down’) existing problems so they can be fixed later”
- Q: “Why are Japanese tankers now so blonde and have names like Emil and Dietrich?” A: “Those are allied kids on an exchange trip” (SS: currently, Japanese crew in Chi Nu Kai – upcoming 8.9 premium Japanese tank – consists temporarily of German crewmen”
- when you lose, if you recieved certain awards, you will get the same XP/credit bonus as if you won (“curagous resistance”). Storm stated that other variants (SS: the asking player for example mentioned for damage done) are worse for various reasons (and when nagged further about this, he only replies: “envy is bad”)

Attention! For once (and this time only), this post is in Czech, because I honestly won’t translate this garbage. Wouldn’t make much sense anyway. If you understand it, so be it. If you don’t, maybe it’s better this way.
WGA Ambassadors
Source: http://forum.worldoftanks.eu/index.php?/topic/294157-wargaming-ambassadors-have-arrived/
In the “heat” of the Stalin rage, 8.8 patch, 8.9 patch preview and Golden Joystick flame, one thing kinda “slipped thru the cracks” on EU forums: the implementation of Wargaming Ambassadors.
What actually IS a Wargaming Ambassador? Hell if I know. The thread above doesn’t offer too many details. Apparently it’s a bunch of… I dunno, WG employees or players, who are representing Wargaming on third party forums and websites, probably to make it look better.

Firday 13th – a good day for translations :)
- according to The_Chieftain, both M36B1 (M4A3 hull with M36 turret) and T53 (not sure what that is) are viable candidates for tier 6 US premium tank destroyer
- Q: “It is now possible to view the amount of tanks I have in garage in the new stats for my account, why is it not possible for other accounts?” A: “For the same reason we your account status is not shown to everyone you meet” (SS: as in, some privacy protection)
- “vehicles that won’t make a full branch” (SS: the player asks specifically about Israeli tanks) will be “definitely implemented in some way”
Golden Joystick – a day later
Hello everyone,
yesterday, I wrote that (unlike last year) I wouldn’t be voting for the Golden Joystick for WoT in the Online Game category. A while after that post was made, the EU annoucement came.
Last year, WG – when asking for the award – offered an… incentive. Some might call it bribe. At that time I defended that policy, but I think we all deep inside had the feeling of “something off”. Yea, it was a bribe and we took it.
“Stalin Remover” mod for 0.8.8
Author: KawaGreen
Original source: http://forum.worldoftanks.eu/index.php?/topic/295740-088-remove-stalin-inscriptions/
Hello everyone,
I don’t normally recommend or write about mods (I don’t use any at this point anyway), but this is interesting. Presenting you with KawaGreen’s Stalin Remover mod :)
It comes in two versions:
a) Stalin remover
Can be downloaded here
b) Stalin hunter
This replaces the text with a large red box, so you can immediately spot a stalinist in your battle and hunt him down. Very useful, will install this myself :)
Can be downloaded here
Instalation: Unzip contents of folder in …\res_mods\0.8.8
“A SU-100 that shot an American ship”
Hello everyone,
this interesting story comes from Perrinu (EU). So, this is a Cuban SU-100 from the Cuban Museum of Revolution:
There is nothing special about it, except… it allegedly shot a ship, while being commanded by El Presidente Fidel Castro himself during the Bay of Pigs invasion in 1961 :)
