Hello everyone,
Storm posted a new batch of screenies from the current round of the test.
Hello everyone,
when the first test went live, I made a post about T-54, Tiger and Sherman armor model changes. Let’s look at the new vehicles and how they changed.
M18 Hellcat
This is the original Hellcat armor in top configuration – nothing too fancy.
Hello everyone,
alright, here’s the deal. I have a problem. I am really not very good at making map reviews – in particular since I actually don’t remember the position of every little stone, so at some points I have hard time checking what was changed and what was not (unless it specifically concerns my favourite spots). What it means that I have usually rely on someone else’s reviews.
Unfortunately, there’s not that big a choice – basically, I’ve seen two reviews so far: Quickybaby’s and Jingles’ one. Since I really, REALLY dislike Quickybaby lately (what a whiner that one is), leaves me only one option, so here’s Jingles’ review of the map changes – I think it’s actually a pretty good review. I would personally prefer him doing it without that… “company”, but, yea, we can’t have everything now, can we?
So – enjoy :)
PS: very special thanks to Rita, who actually pointed out to me such a video exists in the first place

What follows is a list of the detailed historical battles changes from Test 1 to Test 2 (or HB Test to Test 1, if you like it like that). Thanks to Maiorboltach for posting them.
- changed the MM weight point range of historical battles from 180-200 to 280-300 in order to increase the amount of tanks in historical battles
- rebalanced the amounts of various types of shells carried by HB tanks
- added the possibility to start on random bases (SS: as in, Germans in Kursk won’t start always near the southern base)
- rebalanced MM weights of tanks
- added special missions for weak (lowtier) tanks
Balaton changes:
- added SU-85, Jagdpanzer IV, Nashorn
- removed SU-76 and Jagdtiger

Hello everyone,
you’ve seen the new test HD model screenies, but one was missing there – the Panther. Panther also got its new, shiny HD model, but it has one flaw: it’s too dark again. This is how it looks (well, as good as my computer allows):
Hello everyone,
the second round of the 9.0 test (or first round, if you don’t count the historical battles test that ran until now) is live. List of changes, compared to historical battles:
Hello everyone,
due to traffic constrains, the pictures are hosted somewhere else. To open full version, rightclick each picture and click “view image”.
Hello everyone,
I’ve read some worries that in 9.0, the HD models will not be customizable. Well, as far as I can tell, that’s not true. Check this out: Russian player Foxerfit already produced a re-colored HD skin for the Tiger I 9.0 test model:
On the left, the recolored one. Obviously, it’s pointless to give links for a model, that’s not done yet (it’s likely it will change before the patch goes live), but as you can see, it’s possible.
Hello everyone,
thank to rrw for pointing out this one. So, there is finally a Girls und Panzer official voiceover pack. Here’s a trailer:
According to the description under the video, it will be released on 28.3.2014 via the official Girls und Panzer webpage.
