as a few of you guys already noticed, Wargaming Japan started the collaboration with Girls und Panzer.
First and foremost, there is the GuP manga on WoT site: WoT for beginners.
In this webcomic, Japanese players (the whole thing is obviously in Japanese only, until some fan translates it to English) learn the basics of WoT with their favourite Girls und Panzer characters.

here are the active EU missions for today.
The Way to Glory – win 15 victories, get 250k credits once per day
Learning by Doing – be one of the top 3 XP earners in your team (no matther whether you win or lose), get 20 percent more crew XP
Know your Trade – earn 50k XP per day, get 1 day of premium account (once per day)
Small but Deadly – kill 30 enemies with your tier 4+ light tank from 3rd to 7th September, get 1x ventilation and 10 gold repair kits, can be done only once per account
Featherweight for Victory! – win 10 battles with your tier 4+ light tank (you can use more light tanks to fulfill the criteria, it adds up), get 50k credits – once per day
Before you guys start whining about Communist propaganda, SS asked me to do this, and The_Chieftain (WGA’s historian) put in his corrections into the list, as well as various posters of the World of Tanks NA forums. Some of these should be familiar to you, while others are a little more obscure. Still, don’t repeat them!
Myth: Belton Cooper’s book “Death Traps” is a good book about the Sherman.
Fact: Belton Cooper was a mechanic during the war, and thus lacked a good overall perspective of the Sherman’s performance. His laments about Shermans being no good against Tigers and Panthers are questionable, as his unit did not encounter Tigers and Panthers when he said it did. Furthermore, a portion of his book is dedicated to a rant about a Yankee conspiracy when it came to naming the tank, despite the fact that “Sherman” was a British nickname. The American designation was “Medium Tank M4″. To be fair, the Sherman name did make it into official documentation in 1944, but the common soldiers never used it. (Partial credit: The_Chieftain)

Special edition of QA from Storm and Evilly:
- Storm states that first 4 vehicles existed and fought, some of them a lot
- autoloaders won’t be animated for now, but this will be implemented eventually (SS: Storm mentions HD version, that probably means the great graphical model rework in 2014)
- tier 9 and 10 TD will have a 6 man crew, tier 8 4man, tier 7 5man, tier 6 5man too, tier 5 6man too, tier 4 4man crew
- for now, the tier 8,9 and 10 vehicles do have 360 degree turrets, but this might yet be limited during the tests
- Q: “Why such a weird transfer from Panzer IV chassis to E-100?” A: “I don’t know, I didn’t make the branch.”
- the tank characteristics in game are not finished yet
- apparently, the EU TD competition results are coming out today
- it has not been decided yet, how will the players get the T7 Combat Car and Mk.VIc LT, leaked from supertest
- apparently, the leakers will not be punished, because “they do a good job, bringing the light of knowledge to the people” (SS: of course, EU supertesters doing the same thing had to be sacked)
- there will be no separate Italian tree, Italians might appear in the EU tree (SS: “might” here means “they will”, no worries)

Tier 4 – Marder 38T
Hello everyone,
today’ we’re going to have a look at the upcoming T7 Combat Car tank.
The T7 Combat Car was based on the T1 Combat Car light tank and was made between 1937 and 1938 and theoretically, it was a pretty reasonable vehicle, that could go both with and without tracks on the road, much like the Christie designs. Its main armament (M2 .50cal machinegun) was however already obsolete for its time, despite the fact that a 45mm gun could possibly fit in the relatively large turret.
