just a quick heads up: US World of Warplanes event (“The Battle of Rennell Island”) is apparently not working – it’s even a bit insidious than usual, according to this player it says that the retraining is on 50 percent discount and it shows it so in the client, but charges you double when you order it. So just be careful.

As for WG EU, well, of course there is something, did you think otherwise?

Check out lower right corner. “TEXT” – very informative. Clicking it takes you to the weekend event page, so I guess that’s what is supposed to be there.

today, we will talk about tanks and machineguns.

Machinegun has been tank’s companion ever since the beginning. First tanks ever to see the light of day were not armed (only) with guns, they were armed with machineguns, because their purpose was to fight infantry. A machinegun has always been a vital part of tank armament (vehicles without machineguns, such as Ferdinand tank destroyers, almost always had problems when fighting off enemy infantry assaults) and it still is to this day: look at the most modern tank in the world and you will find a good old machinegun sitting there somewhere.

what many suspected is now confirmed – German tanks are getting split in 9.0

Tier 3 will be Panzer Ausf.A
Tier 4 will be Panzer Ausf.D

Panzer III is going to also be split into two tanks and StuG the same.

Edit: Panzer III might not be split after all – the older model will apparently somehow merge with Panzer III Ausf.A
