Object 907 and T28 Videos

Hello everyone, Russian videomaker Amway921 made two interesting videos recently (well, about a week ago). One shows the new upcoming CW reward (Object 907), the other the American premium tank destroyer T28 Concept, that will be available for individual missions. Object 907 – it is said that it has relatively thick armor, it has Object 140-like mobility (okay-ish), but the gun sucks and the tank is nasty only when running gold ammo.

Straight Outta Supertest: Object 260, T28C, T95E2 Finalized Stats

Hello everyone, finalized stats (when it comes to supertest anyway) of the reward vehicles made it to the supertest. These vehicles will apparently be the rewards for individual missions, that are coming in 9.5 and will be obtainable by anyone, not just clan players. The changes were as follows: T28 Concept – side armor rounded up from 101 to 102mm – hitpoints nerfed from 900 to 880 – aimtime nerfed from 2,1s to 2,3s – ROF nerfed from 6,74 to 6,45 Tier 7 premium TD Hitpoints: 880 Engine: 960 hp Weight: 70 tons Power-to-weight: 13,71 hp/t Maximum speed: 29 km/h Hull traverse: 18 deg/s Armor: 203/102/50 Gun: 105mm T5 Damage: 320/320/420 Penetration: 181/224/53 ROF: 6,45 Accuracy: 0,4 Aimtime: 2,3s Viewrange: 370 Radiorange: 570

Straight Outta Supertest: Object 260 and T28 Armor

Hello everyone, you asked about the Object 260 and T28 Concept armor layout, so here it is. Notice several things: – the mantlet of Object 260 is only 250mm thick, unsloped and there is nothing behind it – Object 260 roof is extremely thin – the T28 Concept miniturrets on each side are only 101mm thick (note that the T28 Concept gun traverse is 30 degrees on each side with cca 4,5 degrees of gun depression)

0.9.6 Undocumented Vehicle Changes

Hello everyone, so, I ran over the XML files again to have a look at what exactly they changed. The HD model changes and fixes do generally not bother me, as some are broken (unfinished) even in second iteration of the test (such as the E-100 one, which will only be fixed in 9.6). What I noticed: – Sherman III turrets got renamed from D50878 and D82081 to Sherman III and Sherman IIIA (no stat changes) – Chaffee had its depression boosted, from -7/+15 to -10/+15 (for all guns as far as I can see) – T95E2 repair costs were reduced by cca 30 percent – T28 Concept now has one more crewmember (one loader added) – Super Pershing armor was slightly changed (shiny garage lines one is new, the turret got tiny bit narrower and some of the vision ports disappeared from the collision model):

More Thoughts of Personal Missions Fail by Tyraforce

Author: Tyraforce More thoughts on the Personal Missions fails Before I even start, let me make one thing clear. I do not think WG is generally doing a bad job when it comes to WOT development. Yes, there are bugs, lag and late rebalancing, however, compared to the MMOs I had previously played, WOT is pretty solid. I specifically remember one game (DDO), where you sometimes had a group of 12 people going on a 2-hour-long quest, which found the final boss stuck or there was another reason why the quest couldn’t be completed. The support would say “sorry, but you have to do it again”, which frequently caused an amount of frustration WOT cannot compete with. That said, I struggle to understand how WG managed to fuck up almost every aspect of the PMs. They had been testing and discussing them for months, activated them weeks after they were installed in the patch, yet they still look like something school kids developed during their 2-3 lunch breaks. Again, don’t get me wrong, I like the general idea of PMs and sure welcome an opportunity to give my T34 credit grind a rest but the extent of the fuck ups is just shocking. NAME FUCK UP: CHECK “Personal missions are named so because you have to complete them personally.” I wonder if WG realizes that you have to complete ALL the missions personally. You even have to personally buy the tokens to get your WZ mission done, right? But wait, some of these missions force you to platoon! “There are platoon missions, but those too are personal, because every player has their own personal role even in platoon missions.” Sure. I guess football is a personal game then, cuz every player has his own personal role. The funny thing is that in the mission menu itself WG uses the term ”campaign”, which surprisingly makes sense when referring to a set of stages with a common goal. Why not use it from the start or at least rename it now?

Individual Missions Official Info

Hello everyone, this info comes from a Russian video and is based on official info by Wargaming, so it’s very likely correct (unless they change something). Using individual missions, you will be able to get 4 vehicles in this order: StuG IV, T28 Concept, T55A, Object 260 (it’s not possible to skip straight to Object 260). As announced earlier, missions are split into 5 branches for each class, 15 missions each. You have to complete 4 out of 5 for each tank (eg. 60 missions for each tank), one branch of your choosing you can skip. Apart from fulfilling the objectives, you also get some reward for each mission (credits and such). Examples of missions: First mission for MT branch: StuG IV: win and deal damage, be in top 10 in XP T28C: win and deal damage, be in top 5 in XP T55A: win and deal damage, be in top 3 in XP Obj260: win and deal damage, be the first in XP

Straight Outta Supertest: Individual Missions

Hello everyone, the testing of individual missions on supertest 9.5 has begun. Individual missions are split into seasons, season 1 has 4 tanks as rewards (StuG IV, T28 Concept, T55A and Object 260, in that order, reflecting the difficulty). Each of those tank has 5 mission chains, each chain consists of 15 missions. When you complete the final mission of the chain, you get a token. Apparently, you have to collect every token in order to get that respective tank. Only when you get one tank, you will get tokens for the next one (eg. you have to get StuG IV in order to start working on T28 Concept). The missions are not “grindy”, they can be completed in single battle and they involve various requirements, such as damage done in battle, kills, scouting and spotting damage in an arty + platoon (yes, apparently in order to get to the top, you have to play LT or arty) and many others. Personally, I think this is a very, very good idea.
