V8H-Sv (Newly Discovered Tank)

Hello everyone,

what follows is something quite extraordinary. It is not that often that someone manages to find something completely new in the archives and gets the opportunity to publish it. In this case, it was Renhaxue (US forums), who found the following tank in the Swedish archives he keeps digging. Credits go to sp15 as well. Thank you, guys.

Basically, what we have here is a new version of Praga V-8-H medium tank from 1941 with TNH-type suspension. It’s designated “V8H-Sv”.

Object 260 Errata

Hello everyone,

about the last post with the statitics of the IS-7 prototype, Object 260. As you might have figured out, the pictures are not leaks, they come straight from Wargaming. Unfortunately, Wargaming released that wrong, the Object 260 characteristics are placeholders.

The vehicle characteristics were changed as such:

The frontal turret plate is 350mm (as the post says), but that’s just a really small part. The mantlet is 250mm thick. And so, the vehicle has following characteristics:

0.9.3.1 Micropatch

Hello everyone,

today, a new 70 Mb micropatch was applied to EU server (and other servers as well). While the official content of this micropatch was not published anywhere, it is confirmed that this patch contains the Fury-related things (the Fury model itself and the garage). This is likely the only content of the micropatch.

Individual Missions Are Coming

Source: http://world-of-ru.livejournal.com/3540222.html

Hello everyone,

in the post linked above, Evilly confirmed that the individual missions are coming. Individual missions are missions, that have parameters different for every player and are thus possibly “tailored” to the tanks, that are in your garage. Yesterday, a number of Russian players (inactive) recieved an e-mail, in which they were invited to play World of Tanks individual missions. At first, it was considered some kind of scam, but Evilly (WoT producer) confirmed that it’s legit.

It’s the first (testing) round of the individual missions, aimed at inactive (incl. banned) players to make them return to the game. These mails are only a testing round, the individual missions will come after that.

This is how it looks in the client (for 75 victories between 10th and 20th of October, you can get a T-127 and a free garage slot):

An upcoming tier 10 Soviet heavy tank (possibly a CW reward, not a regular vehicle). It’s IS-7 prototype, in case you wondered :)

Panzer IV Being Sold in Finland

Thanks to Deadbeaver for this one.

Hello everyone,

ever wanted a Panzer IV Ausf.J? Well, here’s your chance. Well, it’s not in a very good shape :)

2

This Panzer IV Ausf.J was given to the Finnish army by Germans in 1944. It was never used in battle, only later on as a practice target. The auction can be found here – the current bid is 1550 Euro.

Of course, it’s in terrible shape, but I wonder, if it could actually be restored to its former glory. Hell, the KV-1 they pulled from the river recently looked worse.
