Historical VK3001H
Hello everyone,
today, we are going to have a look at what will happen to the VK3001H in patch 8.8.
But first, in order to explain the logic behind WG’s decision, we have to have a look at the history of the VK3001H. Some very basic info can be found on the World of Tanks wiki page – the data written in the article are unfortunately quite incorrect.
9.8.2013
- there will be no compensations for VK3001H owners, when it goes down a tier
- Object 430 was not scrapped, only delayed
- there will possibly be a third (yet unannounced) Soviet medium branch, of which the Object 140 will be the top tank, this branch will consist of vehicles designed in Omsk (SS: the original branch is “Nizhny Tagil” branch, the 8.8 one is “Kharkov” branch)
- tier 9 of this new branch might be a version of T-54, designated “Object 139″ (which was a prototype of Object 140)
- the anniversary hangar warships looming on the horizon are a little “hi!” from WoWs developers (SS: the second from the right is allegedly Yamato)
- Object 263 drowning too soon (as soon as the water reaches the tracks)? “How terrible…”

apparently, some Russian player used T-34-3 in random battles. Here’s the footage.
8.8.2013
- confirmed: RU second medium branch will start from T-34 and end with T-54, Object 140 will be a tier 10, unlockable from T-54, Object 430 and the other T9 tank will come later
- penetration reduction with distance is set for each shell individually
- both shells for VK3601 Konisch gun are basically historically subcaliber SerB states that both have subcaliber normalisation, as far as he remembers
VK 3002 (MAN), upcoming tier 6 MT
Hello everyone,
since today in the 8.8 info it was uncovered that the new German tier 6 medium tank (to replace the VK3001H, which is blatantly unhistorical) will be the VK3002M, let’s have a look at it, shall we?

Hello everyone,
German 4players.de magazine apparently recieved a bunch of info on 8.8 from M.Zhivets (Storm). What will 8.8 bring then?
- a new map “Autumn Tundra”
- allegedly, the patch will bring new Soviet and German (!) vehicles (see further)

How does the Russian community view the whole Stalin issue? Well, you can see for yourself. I will this time offer no personal opinion on this, so noone accuses me of anything, but I think it’s important to see the issue from both sides.
