I have covered the other Soviet tier 2 light tanks before (T-26 and T-60), so the turn of the BT has come! I will skip over uparmouring possibilities, as they were already covered in the alternate hulls article.
The speed of the BT tanks in-game is already pretty high. However, Tsyganov’s BT-2 project boasted a 104 kph top speed on tracks, but required radically altering the suspension, so an argument for that kind of buff really can’t be made.
Hello everyone,
sorry, gotta brag a bit. Yea, I won 3000g in the latest competition. First time I’ve ever won anything actually (when it comes to game-based stuff anyway). WG EU giving me free gold? I like that :P
Since it was a really good game for me, I actually not only saved the replay, but also made a screenshot of the scoreboard. Here it is:
And in case you are interested, here’s the replay.
Hello everyone,
some of you who saw it might remember that there was a post about the monthly mission (7 survived battles, 24 kills) being bugged, awarding the 250k reward after all. I did remove the post, because a lot of player suggested this is not a bug, it is simply caused by the fact you fulfill the mission the day before without playing that one random mission – when you play that one last battle the following day, you do recieve the 250k award.
Well, that’s cool, but what about this (screen from ChinamanCZ):
This picture was taken today in the afternoon. Here, you can see how the final mission got awarded: clearly the player did not fulfill its conditions and it definitely was not his first battle of the day (as he survived 5 battles and fulfilled the kill quota). Yet he got awarded the 250k – how?
Also, please note this is the THIRD such event only today that was e-mailed to me. Did all of them wait with that last mission until the next day? Hmm… somehow I don’t think so. Looks like a (nice) bug to me.

Hello everyone,
this post isn’t meant to show you some groundbreaking new info on the Japanese Ha-Go light tank, it’s meant to show you how Japanese drawings look like. They are… peculiar. Yuri Pasholok posted this on his personal blog. He comments:
“Often the technical culture can be judged by its technical documentation. In this sense, let’s say the Japanese military documents of WW2 period are very different from the rest of the world. To be honest, I don’t remember seeing such stuff anywhere else. To be clear – this is how the illustrations from the Ha-Go manual look like.”
Hello everyone,
Spanish in Polish description fail? Not enough. Since yesterday, as you can see from the comment thread, there was no E-25 discount during the event – but in the USA it was. So much for similiar events.
Well, as it turns out, it was a (surprise!) mistake on WG EU part and now, E-25 is added to the list of the discounted vehicles as you can see in the backedited original post.
Hello everyone,
we all know Wargaming EU can’t into national portals and sometimes, the portal posts in different language get so garbled it almost feels like it was googletranslated. But what I didn’t know was that WG EU employees can’t tell Polish from Spanish. Look:
But that’s not the reason why it appears here. I mean, mistakes happen. It’s important however they get fixed quickly. This has been sitting there for two days without anyone giving a crap about it. That’s the kind of service Wargaming EU provides. For a company that has enough time to make silly videos or enough money money to spend on Czech T-72 joyrides (although I have a suspicion that entire T-72M4CZ “promotion” (fuel and stuff) was paid by Czech taxpayers), we should expect a bit more.
Know about more Wargaming fails? Incompetent employees? Biased mods? Googletranslations? Other bugs? Feel free to contact me at fortherecordwot@gmail.com – if we as players don’t say “enough”, buggy events, language fails and other stuff will continue.

Yuri has posted this interesting diagram on his blog showing what seems to be an Italian Leopard 1 with an autoloading mechanism for the L7 105 mm gun. There is no date known for this project, named the OTO-Centauro, at the moment.
Since this is an Italian it could be included into the Italian/Pan-Euro tree if it is ever implemented.
Hello everyone,
as you probably already know, Wargaming was recently featured in the National Geographic “Megafactories” show. Well, I’ve watched the show and – let’s be honest here: noone probably expected any negative facts to be mentioned, but it feels much like a 40 minute advertising reel. Well… no matter.
What was a bit more interesting though was the fact there were some pictures, depicting work in progress. One of the was a “leaked” sneakpeek at what is possibly the new upcoming American light tank, the T37 (pictures courtesy of Buck-O from Reddit)
