The M4 Shermans in WoT at the moment are only armed with the classic 75 mm, the fast firing 76 mm guns, and the 105 mm howitzer. In lieu of foreign weaponry such as the 17 pdr or the French 105 mm, WG has already likely modeled a 90 mm armed M4 as seen below.
This particular vehicle, called the M4 90V by WG, was built in 1944 in order to have 90 mm armed tanks in order to give American tankers a weapon that could more easily defeat German armor. I have not found an official designation of this vehicle in my resources so I can only assume that WG’s name is acceptable.
Hello everyone,
today, we are going to have a look at the rest of the “leaked” vehicles.
First is obviously the “Brummbär“. It’s a notoriously known vehicle, and it has a relatively useful Wikipedia article, so I won’t go into too many details (will do that once the vehicle becomes actualy, which probably isn’t anytime soon).
Ready for tomorrow? I know I am, took a day off, so the news from the test should be… quick :)
Also note that wotreplays.org site is back online, if you want, check it out.
- the development of WoWp clouds is tied to the smokescreens in WoT, when it is optimized, WG will develop smokescreens based on it
- apparently, smoke (SS: from burning wrecks mentioned) will work like the bushes in WoWp and it will work that way in WoT too
- 122mm D-83 gun (Object 167, Object 430U IIRC) won’t be implemented now, it’s too OP, but the developers keep it in mind
- regarding autoloading Soviet tanks, SerB states that in 1943, autoloaders for both the KV and T-34 were developed, but they won’t be implemented for now
Hello everyone,
this post concerns mostly new WoT Czech magazine, so (as I do in exceptional cases), I will write both in Czech and in English. Obviously, the magazine is written in Czech, but what I really like about it is the simple design. Oh yea, and it’s a shameless ad too, because there’s an interview with me and because I might be contributing with historical articles there. Not sure yet tho.

Apparently, this is the elite configuration. To save you searching: yea, WT E-100 has 235 pen top gun. You will be able to test the vehicles tomorrow on common test.

Hello everyone,
today, we have another juicy rigging case, this time from SEA server. Player Rasco4000 from the clan [MP] (“Misguided Pacifists”) thought it would be a great idea to try to get the Type 59 reward from the medium tank competition (running on US and EU server as well). The only problem is, he brought a few friends. Tier 10 friends. Platooned tier 10 friends. Platooned tier 10 friends on both sides of the battle…
I really liked it this time :)
Hello everyone,
as you know, recently in the 8.9 video and subsequent leaks, new vehicles could be spotted. There is no ETA on them and some were confirmed not to come this year at all. Still, it’s an interesting insight. The vehicles “uncovered” were T-4, T-5 Pantera, Brummbär, G1L
Furthermore, in 8.9 video, we could glimpse the British M2A4, A7 and premium Neubaufahrzeug.
Let’s have a look at them.
As with the German tanks that came before it, the Soviets gave the Panther an index derived from the German index, but with the awkward PzKpfw. V (try writing that on a Cyrillic typewriter) replaced with a much more easily palatable T-5. As with the other tanks, the index was sometimes written Type 5, T-V (or T-У, when the V character wasn’t available). The tank was also commonly known by the Russian word for Panther: Pantera (Пантера).
Following the revelation of the T-5 premium tank, this article is going to take a look at the Panther as viewed and used by the Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army during WWII.
