- apparently, Belarusian dictator/president Lukashenko knows about WoT, he mentioned it in recent “discussion” with teachers on teacher’s day (as something the kids do on computer)
- on EU server, the results of the Type 62/KV-220 missions were: cca 15000 new Type 62′s and less than 3000 new KV-220′s (thanks to IRSanchez for this tidbit)
- developers are currently working on camo and spotting system overhaul to make scouts easier and TD’s harder to play
- in the following patch (or the one after that), last remnants of the original BigWorld engine code the game started with will be removed from WoT files and the game will then be basically using Wargaming’s very own engine
- in total, there are cca 300k clans all over the world in WoT (SS: previously, I wrote 200k, but that was incorrect)
- in Strongholds, 15 different buildings are planned
- apart from air recon, turrets, air raid and artillery fire mission, Stronghold consumables will also include minefields and smokescreen. They will be usable by the clan leader using something called “tactical pad”
- for Kharkov map alone, over 6500 pieces of walls and 850 buildings have to be reworked under Havok
- WG does not actively work with militaries on promoting the game
- Wargaming considered adding the option of configuring the vehicles in the hangar using the WG Assistant software via API, but this was scrapped for now due to insufficient API security

- Storm confirms that the Sixth Sense rework (its transfer to the radioman, activated when radioman training hits 100 percent) will happen in medium future (SS: that usually means cca 6 months)
- developers considered removing Sixth Sense completely, but decided not to do it, because it would break current gameplay too much
- there are no specific statistics of the lifetime effect of Sixth Sense perk, as it was introduced very long time ago
- the desired result of the Sixth Sense rework, according to Storm: “So everyone has it”
- perks will be reworked completely
- after the rework, if the radioman gets killed, the Sixth Sense will stop working
- the “reasoning” of Sixth Sense being a radioman ability: “Radioman intercepts the enemy transmissions about the discovery of his tank”
- the perk rework will come with crew skill reset
- Storm admits that the Chinese branch is full of clones, but: “without Chinese branch, we wouldn’t be able to enter the Chinese market at all” (SS: so basically, since WG is already estabilished at EU, it’s “fuck you” to the Euroserver countries)
- new French tanks? “No comment”
- mod-like minimap (with tank descriptions)? “when it’s done it’s done”
- Storm admits he is not knowledgeable in special aspects of WoT development: “It would be a mistake to assume that I understand tank history and characteristics as a history consultant, programming as a lead programmer, game design as a lead game designer etc. I have knowledge, but the specialists know much more in their respective fields than me.”
- Storm claims that WG Japanese medium branch was made possible by a WG employee and not 3rd party (SS: Storm is either a liar, or he doesn’t know what’s going on, because the data for Japanese branch were given to WG by two US server players: Soukoudragon and Daigensui)

- render change from rectangle to circle will not come this year
- the server-side vehicle “swaying” (rocking) will come along with new motion physics
- the two new modes mentioned by Storm to be implemented into the game are neither the PVE historical battles, nor the national battles
Storm’s Quick Q&A
Source: http://world-of-ru.livejournal.com/3533034.html
- it’s completely possible that the combined Firefly/TD branch will come this year
- Q: “Were there any artillery SPG’s based on the Churchill?” A: “Better ask Pasholok.”
- the idea of burning the bushes (firing from a bush would make it catch fire and be destroyed after a few shots) was judged as “average crap” (won’t be implemented)
- dynamic tank names? “Low priority for now”
- the “gold ammo nerf by reducing its alpha” idea was scrapped
- Israelie (captured Egyptian) IS-3 was not researched yet
- T-34-85M will not be a premium tank, but a “special” (reward/event) one
- Storm and SerB recently agreed on new modes (PvP and PvE), no details for now
- complete new French medium tank line will not be implemented, because the projects in it would be illogical, project only or artificially buffed. Last such tank was the WT E-100, that was the line, in the future, tanks in the game will be more realistic.
- T95E2 will be awarded to clans
- according to Storm, the only nations capable of having any tier 10 in the EU tree are the Swedes and Italians (SS: I mean… seriously?)
- Sweden will not have a separate tree, as it would apparently compromise the integrity of the EU tree

There are no “normal” answers again, so here are some answers from an interview with Anton “Evilly” Pankov, WG producer from the Igromir 2014 expo. The interview video can be found here.
- most players of World of Tanks are between 28 and 35 years old
- 95 percent of game time spent in World of Tanks by players is spent in random battles
- from the start, more than 150 thousand clans registered in WoT on RU server alone (it’s more than 200k overall)
- on RU server, cca 32 percent of players are in clan
- Stronghold mode was introduced for that 32 percent (easy to understand mode not for hardcore)
- currently, developers are working on improved clan UI
- the option of attacking other strongholds will come in October
- developers are planning to introduce mercenaries from “allied clans” in stronghold mode (not only clanless players)
- there will be a clan “shop” in the Stronghold mode. Each clan will have a “shop”, where they will be able to buy unique tanks, camouflage and emblems for the SH resource
- developers are also making special Stronghold consumables: aerial recoinaissance, artillery fire mission, air raid, bunkers (AI turrets), these will be used by clan commanders
- these will not be used in random battles: “as everybody knows, in random battles, you have 29 opponents and to give this to everyone wouldn’t be good”
- the most effective of those consumables is according to Evilly the aerial recon, because knowing where the opponent is is important
- currently, developers are working on Stalingrad map, making it ready for Havok, it will not come in 9.4
- during map rework for Havok, MANY objects have to be reworked, it’s a lot of work
- Havok will be active on medium (and higher) graphic settings, it will work on a separate core (on multicore processors)

The post about the leaked tank statistics was deleted. It turned out that the statistics were only placeholders, so it was pointless to publish and it would only confuse people. The T-55A should be leaked later today, we’ll have to see.
Otherwise, there’s really nothing going on I think. Check in a bit later for the T-55 (if it goes out today).

Some more Igromir stuff by Evilly (from a different source this time, from FTA VK page):
- there will be a new, unanounced mode, that will be the equivalent of “garage battles”
- free FV4202? Apparently, Evilly hinted at some sort of mission to get it
- individual missions (that SerB mentioned a year and a half ago) will appear soon
- it’s possible that the idea to stun the crew for 3-5 seconds when the vehicle is hit by a HE shell will be implemented when the HE shells are rebalanced
- Havok will come in 3-4 rounds, first rounds – beautiful destruction, round 2-3 is new motion physics and some other things
Evilly Q&A at Igromir
Hello everyone,
VK Wotleaks community published a short Q&A with Anton “Evilly” Pankov, World of Tanks producer, who answered some questions at the current Igromir game expo in Moscow. The asking player’s name was Pavel Popov (so you know who to blame if this turns out to be crap :) )
- there will be a global HE shell rebalance, the developers will also collect HESH statistics (for rework). Murazor (SS: known WG videomaker) proposed that the HE round would “temporarily kill” (stun) the entire crew for 3-5 seconds, the developers liked the idea
- garage battle mode was finally scrapped, but the feature of using several tanks in one battle will come in another mode, unspecified in which one (SS: that would most likely be the new historical battles, the developers actually confirmed that before)
- historical battles will be a full PVE mode
- the feature of player-individual missions (individual missions for each account) will come soon
- gold ammunition will not be removed, developers are however considering lowering the gold shell alpha
- there will be several versions (iterations) of Havok. The first version will bring the “destruction of external objects”

So, interestingly enough, according to Wotleaks VK site… remember the T-34-85M? Wanted it? Yea, tough luck, it’s not going to allegedly be for sale. At all. It’ll be some sort of event reward tank – how, when or if at all it will be possible to get, that we do not know.
But the good news (for stronk EU clans) is at least that Wargaming EU is recruiting stronk clans for Stronkhold testing. Various community managers are contacting leaderships of “active and well-estabilished” clans, offering them 20 thousand gold to clan treasury to participate in public testing of Stronghold – the clan task would be to provide extensive feedback and to provide replays and screenshots from the testing, especially those of bugs. Interestingly enough, this seems to concern only clans, currently present on CW map.

Again, nothing much today.
- Q: “In a really nice hangar, you should see all the tanks you have in your garage!” A (Storm): “Yea. And you’ll have a 10 minute loading time for a hangar with 300 tanks.”
- Havok is apparently not that far away
- Havok will apparently now work on “weak computers”
Oh well. We’ll just have to wait a bit for more info :)
