Keep in mind the list is not final! For example some vehicles are still missing.
- added the Firefly line (it’s incomplete in the patchnotes, some vehicles still missing from the supertest)
- added several vehicles for supertesters (AMX CdC, AMX-13/57, STA-2, ISU-130)
- fixed some visual issues with the models of Maus, Fury, Jagdpanther, KV-1S
- fixed the armor bugs in following models: Hetzer, SU-14, WT Pz.IV

Hello everyone,
remember the “tank biathlon” competition from Russia? It now consists of two disciplines: precision shooting over borders, tank race from Moscow to Donbas shooting and driving.
Wargaming developed a free game for mobile devices, based on the event:
As mentioned above, the game is based on the Tank Biathlon event of 2013 and allows you to drive the T-72B tank. There’s also some quiz about the tank or something. You can select four crews from the four major world nations (Russia, Armenia, Belarus and Kazakhstan) and you can shoot three types of weapons: machinegun, main gun and ATGM.
There are several shooting and driving disciplines, that include slalom and drag (drag? Putin disapproves!)
You can download the game via Appstore and Google Play on the game site.
Hello everyone,
It’s time to talk to the Insider again and ask him what’s going on in Wargaming. This time, we’ll talk about the Maus restoration, which is, according to the Insider, still ongoing, but not exactly without hiccups. In the words of the Insider (redacted a bit):
Kubinka is relentlessly denying any attempt to restore the Maus in “the Soviet way” (if it moves, it works mindset), they want it as historically accurate as possible, which is good, and not so good for the sponsors, because the cost of the Maus restoration is currently estimated already over 8.627.725 rubles (SS: that’s actually extremely cheap, it’s like 145k Euro, I expected to add at least one zero to that – perhaps it’s just the first step).
Kubinka has already denied sponsorships from a couple of rich people in the past, because it seems they wanted to use Soviet engines and components (not as in replicas, but tank engines/parts adapted into it, which kinda beats the purpose of “restoration”). After a certain article about “restoring a fascist tank” in the newspapers, the museum gained a major notoriety benefit – contrary of political schemes trying to make “patriotism” and all that, it’s staying out of political rife for the time being.
There are already candidates for some parts on the interior, most of these are to be custom built
At some point, someone tried to talk with the Bundesarchiv to become part of the project and even ask for some extra data, but the German officials refused this request quickly: “we dont want to be part of anything about nazis and war”. This makes makes little sense considering most of the blueprints and designs are actually in Russian Hands. Overall, the project is still in the design phase, however as it goes, Wargaming will have the exclusive data (and a few copyrights), what will they do with it is unknown.
Thanks to Mister_Red for this one.
This is a wonderful piece of video, showing how the early Pershing (T26E3 was the first batch of the vehicles) is operated. It shows the vehicle in motion as well. Every wanted to know how for example tracks are kept tensed on a Pershing? Now you will know how!
Hello everyone,
just a few tidbits about the upcoming individual missions:
- the final artillery mission for Object 260 is actually “be top 1 in XP and damage from BOTH teams”, not just your own team
- you will be able to get a unique female crew
- this female crew will have a unique perk, called “Sisters in Arms”, gives 5 percent to crew skill (same as Brothers in Arms)
- it does not count as a “perk” XP-wise, so for the next perk/skill, a crew with this perk only needs enough XP to unlock the first perk, not the second one
- this crew will be traineable for any nation and any vehicle type
- these IM’s will be kept separate from the mission menu and have to be MANUALLY ACTIVATED, so you can’t just fulfill one “by accident”
Part 1 can be found here.
Hello everyone,
welcome to the second part of the final summary of Czechoslovak vehicles. Now, I have some news for you.
Before you go all “omg this will not be implemented” – I have news for you. It apparently will, or at least they will try. Wargaming recently (last weeks) contacted a number of Czech institutions and historians for info about the Czech vehicles, specifically those I am using in this branch and in the order I am using them (I recieved a copy of the Wargaming letter, which was sent by A.Kalinin to a Czech historian, so I know – A.Kalinin is a Russian historian, who in the past wrote about the LT Vz.38, he knows Yuri Pasholok for example).
In fact, I also know that they are planning an archive trip in person, so that’s good. Unfortunately, in the letter they used a name I actually made up (there are no official one, so one name is as good as another), which led to some small confusion, but that was cleared in the meanwhile.
Of course, many things might go… not so well with it, but generally consider it a sign of things to come, perhaps next year. You know, it’s a nice feeling that you actually helped to shape the game a little bit, I guess this is how Daigensui felt with the Japanese tanks :)
