Hello everyone,
now this is an interesting story I ran into on US forums. You know, some girls like shoes. Others like fast cars. Lee Cato (playing under the nicknamename Yorktown on EU and US servers) likes tanks.

Hello everyone,
yesterday, an interesting post about Soviet rocket tanks by RU user leisheng appeared on the developer blog. While the author did try to make it into a branch of sorts, I think I’ll just pluck out the most interesting part – the vehicles.
Hello everyone,
new Ranzar video is out – they are funny and cute at the same time, I think I’ll start posting them here… (that sign in the video says “Murovanka forest” BTW)

Just an interesting tidbit of information, that came from Daigensui from US forums. It concerns the Sacred Valley map. The map is called like that in all the laguages I think – except in Korean.
Good morning, everyone
today, we have a morning trollsession with SerB (he decided to answer some stuff after all) :)
- SerB is apparently in France in Fontainbleau (lolwut, how about a Q&A session for EU players?), he’ll be in Chicago in August to oversee the Xbox 360 WoT
- the implementation of an additional spaced armor equipment is only assumed, not confirmed. SerB is hopeful that it will be implemented, but they didn’t get to it yet

Hello everyone,
this post is probably not news to many people, but still an interesting piece of info. Not so long ago, a player called clanmcwood from EU forums did have a trip to Bovington and measured the thickness of the FV4202 turret. The results were interesting:
Hello everyone,
as you probably noticed, this week it’s a bit weak with the developer answers. The reason for it is that Storm is on vacation and SerB is on businesstrip, where the internet is bad. Oh and Veider is apparently finishing up the patch.
The patch 8.7 will come next week most likely as announced earlier.
Not much else to add otherwise, apart from several pieces of info gleaned from various EU/RU/US sources, such as
- when Chaffee moves to tier 6 (yes, it will probably happen, just like it did with T-50-2 and VK2801), it might have its top turret removed
- the Nashorn (2nd German line tier 6 vehicle) will apparently have a 105mm L/52 gun (think Jagdpanther, not Dickermax)
- FV4202 armor might be changed in the future after all, recent measuring revealed differences from the ingame model
Otherwise nothing much to add. It’s summer after all.
Part I – http://ftr.wot-news.com/2013/07/15/bulgarian-armor-part-i/
Part II – http://ftr.wot-news.com/2013/07/16/bulgarian-armor-part-ii/
As it was mentioned in Part II, the arming process effectively ran until the end of 1943. As the re-arm program (also known as “Barbara”) ran, the Bulgarian army – ever wary of the traditional Turkish danger – did run some excercises and improved its structure and training.
Hello everyone,
I usually do this with Q&A, but since I am not sure whether there will be one today (SerB probably took vacation), I’ll post it straight away:
8.7 will go live on:
RU server – 23.7.
EU server – 24.7.
US server – 25.7.

Hello everyone,
a bunch of Russian players (Nisa, zmiyko, Darth_Google, PurpleDust, AndrasD, BOL4OK, Dell1969, criticalSection, Miporin, Slighter, Devilhunter) made an experiment, where they tested, on what distance will they see that respective vehicle. They tested with a 400 viewrange tank, with 100 percent crew, without any special perks/skills/equipment/consumables. The data are valid for 8.6 and 8.7 test patch.
