A: Nope. It’s an M-62 with most of the gun past the bore evacuator cut off. The D-10 had no such device near the muzzle.
Type 64 “Prototype” Chinese tank

Hello everyone,
this post, submitted to me by Lahn (the same guy, who came up with the Taiwanese branch), deals in a bit more detail with the tank, that is the “other” Type 64. Yea – there are two Type 64′s: the “hybrid” and the “prototype” – the “hybrid” is the one that’s going to be most likely implemented as tier 5 Chinese light tank (M42 Duster hull, Hellcat turret), while this one there are no plans for – at least for now. Let’s have a look at it.

Please don’t use the “5 M4s = 1 Panther” myth.
So on most WW2 Tank discussion the supposed fact that it takes 5 M4s to kill 1 Panther(sometimes it is the Tiger, Tiger II, or every Panzer, but I will focus on the Panther) or a Panther is 5 times as effective as the M4 always seems to pop up. I believe I have tracked down the source of this claim which didn’t surprise me at all. In Belton Cooper’s Death Traps on page 175 he claims “The German tanks had a qualitative superiority of as much as five to one over our M4 Sherman.” This has been repeated everywhere from internet forums to the “History” Channel. Well I must say that even though Cooper’s war experience detailed in Death Traps is a good read, his claims go well beyond his understanding and have little, if any, supporting evidence.
WoT Taiwanese tree/branch

A small explanation of “how terrible”: when SerB uses it, it does NOT specifically mean he acknowledges an issue, but won’t do anything about it, it (most of the time) means he considers the question totally retarded. At least that’s how I understand it.
- apparently, in 9.0 patch, chat will be reworked to another format on a separate server
- the ST-B1 (tier 10 medium tank) will carry a 105mm L7 clone
- the Waffenträger E-100 is already modelled
