British light tank summary

Hello everyone,

a quick summary of possible British light tanks by Listy. Just so you know what is there.

In the post war period the one area of British tank design that saw a lot of development was light tanks. Being relativity cheap and easy to produce even individual companies would develop projects in the hope of finding a buyer. Some of the Designs were eccentric at best. Some were just test beds, but some made it to service. In World of Tanks the flaws of some of the odder designs (such as maintenance or crew overwork) are notreflected for ease of play, and would thus give the UK light tank tree a very interesting feel.

Wargaming buys a 30 percent share in a bank

Source: Cyprus Property News server
Thanks to “grekios” for letting me know.

Some of you guys might have read the earlier post about Wargaming wanting to buy a bank share on Cyprus.

Well, they did. Wargaming bought a 30 percent share of the Hellenic Bank for 40 mil. Euro. An American hedge fund Third Point bought another 30 percent for 40 mil. Euro and 15 percent was bought for 20 mil. Euro by a Cypriot investment company Demetra.

More details in English in the article, if you are interested. So, I wonder what else is on V.Kislyi’s shopping list. I can imagine it looking like that:

Not much today

- according to SerB, the problem with LL Matilda and LL Chruchill is that they are used as regular tanks in the British branch
- Object 430 will come out “it’s done when it’s done”
- A-43 and A-44 actually have the same turret, (“A-44″), but in the game this same turret is registered as two different turrets with the same name, as there are no shared turret modules in WoT
- if you sold your Superpershing for gold and want it back, you can simply buy it for the same price it was sold for in the ingame shop

How to make easy 250k

Hello everyone,

so, yes, this is about another WG fail, but this time, you can use it to your benefit. What is this about? The November mission “Tanking 24/7″. As you probably know, the goal of this mission is to destroy 24 opponents and survive 7 battles. But here’s a twist: the earlier mission description was worded (and probably intended) so that you have to destroy 24 vehicles and AFTER that to survive 7 battles.

In typical Wargaming EU fashion, they screwed up the mission implementation however: it’s possible to achieve both goals at the same time: if you kill enemies AND survive the mission, both missions progress at the same time. It’s likely this will stay as it is now, as the mission description was stealth changed.

This makes the mission very easy to complete, I got the 250k after 14 or so battles (granted, I had two Top Gun battles in it). So – enjoy :)

Invite codes

Hello everyone,

on this cold and misty Saturday morning (at least here), all there is needed is a hot cup coffee and invite codes. First one’s on you, good folks reading FTR provide the latter :)

This time, from The_Paradiser_112 and szachu, thank you!

WG NA fail combo

Hello everyone,

usually, American Wargaming portal stays out of my scope, but in last few days managed to score an impressive fail combo, the kind fail that is usually reserved for Wargaming EU.

First, there is the quality portal. So, apparently, M48A1 is a heavy tank. With heavy armor. And you know what? T2 LT is a heavy tank too! You don’t believe me? Check this out:
