- hitpoints of each vehicle are not calculated randomly, WG has a program/Excel table algorithm to calculate it, but the formula for it won’t be disclosed
- removing the “miniturret” (sometimes called “Artoo”) weakspot of KV-5 is not planned
- when the WoWp gets released, player statistics will be wiped
- additional objects within the capping circle of new maps (compared to old maps) were added to make it interesting for players
- SerB confirms that E-50 has the worst camo factor of all T9 meds
- no solution towards teammates who block your line of fire will be implemented: “We’ll leave it up to players”

Exotic CZ/GER guns part 2 – 66mm PaK 44
Part 1: autoloaded 50mm SV-4
Hello everyone,
another pretty exotic gun is the Škoda 6,6cm KPÚV 5/800, also known as 6,6cm PaK 44, Škoda A14 or 6,6cm PaK 5/800 (the last name being mentioned in the documentation).
This experimental gun was developed since 1941 by Škoda Pilsen for the German army under the company designation of A14 (it seems it was private Škoda initiative, not a part of some program). Apparently, it was an attempt to create something more powerful than the 50mm PaK 39 L/60, possibly as a competition towards the 75mm PaK 40. A prototype was made and first tests took place in April 1942. Germans were not interested in the production due to the atypical caliber and the prototype stayed in Pilsen until 1945, when the Americans confiscated it, along with its documentation.
Exotic CZ/GER guns part 1 – autoloaded 50mm SV-4
Hello everyone,
today we are going to have a look at two projects, that would probably fit mid tiers in World of Tanks (if WG ever needs additional guns that is).
Autoloaded 50mm SV-4 (5cm KPÚV 2,1/835)
This project was developed in Škoda Pilsen between 1940-1941 for Wehrmacht. If you are wondering about the name in the brackets: KPÚV means “kanon proti útočné vozbě” (“anti-tank gun”), the numbers are according to Czech naming convention, the first means the weight of the shell, the second means the muzzle velocity of the shell.

- it’s technically possible to make a 1200*1200m WoT map
- Storm states that it’s not necessery to add the AAMG to some tanks, but it’s pretty (SS: as in that pintle-mounted MG, that isn’t a part of collision model anyway)
- it’s completely possible that when tank overturning is implemented, a tank, going down hill full speed will roll on its back if it gets detracked by intertia
- for now there are no plans for more TD’s with more alpha than Jpz E-100
- for now, it’s not planned to delete inactive accounts, that are “blocking” attractive names, as there are difficulties connected with that
- MM weight of vehicles will not be officially disclosed
Winrate affects your position in team
Source: http://world-of-ru.livejournal.com/2555477.html
Edit: THIS INFORMATION IS OBSOLETE AND THE DEVELOPER IN QUESTION WAS MISTAKEN
Well, this is interesting…
From Russian forums (a developer answer):
OrehMan: Well, you just confirmed it: if the player plays well – he gets to play on the bottom of the team, and if he’s a noob – he gets thrown on the top!
Inimigo (developer): “It doesn’t depend on general winrate, but on actual win series, player is less lucky – he gets put on the top of the team more often. If you pwn on top of the team without problems – try a more difficult task” (SS: in the sense that “we’ll make it more difficult for you”).
That certainly explains a lot. I am a bit skeptical about the answer (“lesser” developers have been known to not understand the inner MM workings), but still.

EU results for LT XP competition clean
Hello everyone,
looks like Wargaming EU has learned their lesson and started banning cheaters, who try to rig the the light tank part of the XP competition. Funnily enough, some are even dumb enough to ask why they were banned openly…
Pomfrit: LOL, so like 2x in my life I take as a joke the BT-2 to tier 10 (not banned by the rules), by an incredible accident I manage to make really ultra high score and after one day they took everything back even when I am in top 50 with Leopard and I get 7 days ban to boot, really great…
Karlie: Your contribution was removed because of cheating. BT-2 would have no chance to survive for 5 minutes in such a company and to penetrate 17 out of 21 shots, unless the server was down or the others were willing to cooperate on the result.
Good job :)
PS: that idiot’s result
27.9.2013
- when the option to hide your stats is implemented, if someone hides their stats, you won’t be able to see them even after the battle is over (in game). It will also not be possible to recieve the stats of someone who has them hidden via API (SS: whatever that is, I suspect it’s some interface the mods like Noobmeter and Xvm work through)
- when you reset your skills for silver and select new perks, the penalty does spread over the whole XP amount (SS: so you will still get 100 percent base crew skill, you will just get less XP for the skills/perks)
- apparently, what tanks you have in hangar is still considered private info (won’t be disclosed in player stats)
- missions cannot be completed in company battles, as they would be too easy to rig
