- the gameplay between WoT and WoTXbox is incompatible, Xbox version has various features to compensate for the clumsiness of the game controller, so that the gameplay could at least a bit compare to the mouse one
- SerB states that the statement “Cybersport mostly consists of organizational matters, changes in the client are minimal” is not correct
- SerB states that the 7/42 has different rating, because it’s for the e-sports players (SS: not every random player)

just a quick heads up: just so you don’t accuse me of being too anti-WG again – remember that fail from yesterday with Americans having 50 percent discount on SU-122-44 and SU-100Y, while EU had only 30 percent? It was fixed. Both servers now have 50 percent.

On 1st of August 1944, Ing-Maj. (military constructor rank) Barabash (we heard about him before) filed an application no. 8988atb for a patent for “a lift for automatic handling of artillery or one-piece shells”. Basically it was nothing else but an autoloader, fitted into a modified T-34 turret.
From the description, it is intended for the 76mm F-22 gun. Yuri Pasholok writes that the author was a bit late with this invention, as it was made for an obsolete gun, but nevertheless he did recieve a patent for it in 1946.
This could be fun in WoT :)

Overlord asks for feedback on small things that irritate you in WoT

- Storm confirms: skill MM will NOT be implemented into random battles
- the boundaries of the skill MM are not very broad (SS: as in, players will not be able to play other players, who are too far from their rating)
- Storm explains the fact that the armor collision model consists of 16 groups of armor:
“16 groups mean 16 ‘thicknesses’ of armor, elements of the same thickness can be put as different parts of hull and turret armor. Tracks – 2 different armor groups, hull and everything on it – 16 groups, turret and everything on it – 16 more groups, mantlet – 16 more groups, gun module – separate armor group”
- in 0.9.0, there will be some graphic improvements without increasing the computer requirements, grass and trees are currently being re-worked
- for now, Neubaufahrzeug (SS: shown in the 8.9 KTTS video as tier 3 premium) will not be implemented

How to survive 8.9 common test
Hello everyone,
8.9 test is getting close (perhaps next week? just a speculation) and with it, everything we know and love: teamkills, insults in Russian and other such “joys”.
Here’s an average Russian test team:
(comes from a Russian – the pincers and the horns are there because in Russian, both the word “rak” (crayfish) and “olen” (deer) are the expressions for a noob)
Want to evade teamkills? Here’s how. Whenever a Russian noob targets you for your EU/US tag, you can save your skin by writing this:
“Не стреляй дурак, я советский шпион!”
(“Don’t shoot, idiot, I am a Soviet spy!”) – sounds stupid but it actually works, Russian players tend to let Americans/Europeans be after that and start laughing :) You can replace “Soviet” with “Russian” too (“Не стреляй дурак, я русский шпион!”).
Of course, you might want to write something to Russian players too :) In my experience, following sentence produces very funny reactions, when written by someone with EU/US tag:
“Я европейский нагибатор и вы все олени.” (I am an European pwnerer/unicum and you are all noobs, for US account replace “европейский” with “американский”) :)
